I have a certain aversion to DBM doing this. The idea that Gero had a wife sounds logical, of course. And maybe DBM simply incorporated the fact that Gero had a wife named Vomi. And if nothing else was taken over except that Vomi was also a scientist, then that's fine with me. The whole plot of FighterZ is much more fan fiction to me than actual fan fiction.
Vomi isn't only Fighterz canon. The same design appeared in DBS Super Hero movie. And also in the DBZ Kakarot game.

I'm still a little perplexed by the rules the author is going by. Vegeta is stiff as a board and characters don't collapse to the ground, so their physical forms are timestopped, not just their mental faculties. But if that's the case, Piccolo shouldn't be able to move more than his head, and his brain should starve for oxygen with no blood flow.

Sorry, what? When did this happen? Vegito was about to get killed by one of the Androids before everything went down. I don't think this quite fits with what we saw before. Also, "He hit me so hard my stomach exploded" is a not so great bit a dialogue. How about, "He blew me to pieces." instead? That'd sound a little more natural.

I hope this isn't Nasu being petulant but it's absurd that he hasn't done anything. It's an existential crisis. His pride is going to get his mother killed. We have to hope there's a logical reason for this.

That move was always an option, yet conveniently forgotten. Against Cell or Buu, Piccolo, Roshi or Krillin never even brought it up. So I’ll give you that — you found a way to include it and still make it ineffective.

The only real difference here is that canon Tien had a few months to train with King Kai.

His first time meeting Beerus he immediately asked to spar
When hearing he died without getting to fight the androids His first response was regretting a different version of him didn't get to fight

Heck, even with Cell, he planned from the start to let Gohan do it and knew he had no chance but he still fought first anyway

Simply put, Goku would NEVER give up without trying and if its "friendly" setting he'll definitely try fighting the stronger opponent just to see how well he measures up (it is completely in character for him to even challenge Vegetto to a spar just to see how well he'd do)

So yeah, either this is XXI's wish (which shouldn't be possible unless that dragon is actually stronger then Goku) or someone here really has no clue about Goku's character to ever write something this out of character

I really don’t understand the power scaling here tho. Gast himself killed King Cold who is supposed to be around Android 17 and 18 level stated by Piccolo. So it makes no sense for him to struggle with these androids who should be weaker than 17 and 18 due to them being absorption models. He killed Cold 6 years before this special so it makes no sense for his power to still be stagnant if Dbm tournament is to go by he should be experincing a steady increase in every every couple of years, so by now Gast should be Cell Games or early Buu SSJ2 Goku lv.

Krillen is alive but? Interesting... I know I'm a bit behind on some stuff, but how would the androids know of Piccolo, when Piccolo wasn't revived by the namekian dragon balls? The only ones of the whole crew that was alive at the time of namek being attacked and all the the namekians fusing together were Krillen, Goku and Gohan. The rest were dead. But where is Vageta?
