When the young woman got up from the ground that her fall had damaged, she saw Vegeta standing proudly between her and the entrance of the palace.
“You're not going to escape me today... You're MINE!”
Once up, 18 tidied her blond hair with an affected gesture, as she answered extremely calmly to the warrior standing in her way.
“And you really think you'll prevent me from going in there? Interesting!”
An ironical smile grew on the Saiyan's face.
“You're free to waste the seconds you have left.”
The cyborg turned her pure azure eyes away from the sarcastic prince to speak with her brother.
“I let you have fun with all the others... I'll take this one, if you don't mind.”
“What?... Today too?” he's surprised.
The young woman looked once again at Vegeta, whose face hardened.
“I can't bear his arrogance anymore.” Then back at her brother, looking more severe. “And don't take advantage of it... You know what I said!”
“I know, I know... Go ahead... Have your fun.” he reassured her with a sigh.
The short private – not so private – conversation didn't quite please Vegeta. He lost his patience and lighted his aura with a whistling that was immediately replaced by the pulses that his energy emitted. Contrary to his attitude, his voice was strangely calm.
“Yeah, that's it... come play 'who loses...”
But then, he yelled the last word. “DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEESSS!” right before disappearing at top speed.
Almost at the same time, he's really close to the cyborg. He held the young woman's head between his two hands, head that disappeared instantly in a luminous energy ball that appeared between the Saiyan's two palms. He slipped away with a chirping sound a split second before his energy ball exploded in a deafening noise.
Surprised, 18 couldn't hold back a frightened scream. When the fire from the explosion receded, it appeared that her face had darkened and she looked stupefied. Her brother looked at her, a bit stunned too.
The young cyborg woman hardly had time to try and look at a lock of her hair that once was blond and silky that she had to let go of it to counter two shots in quick succession, using her arms to parry them... The energy shots were powerful and the inflexible cyborg had moved a few inches back under their impact...
Absolutely furious, she took off to storm at the culprit who, in turn, went at her as he saw she was rushing towards him. The punch that each of them took was extremely powerful but Vegeta's face only was distorted by pain. The young woman went on with a formidable hit with her knee that the warrior dodged by leaning on this improvised support. He then turned to deal a powerful kick right behind his opponent's nape, opponent that took the blow she hadn't foreseen.
Taking advantage of her lose of balance, Vegeta skillfully used his move to turn upside down and shot 18 with a double blast at close range in her back.
The young woman who was propelled forwards was now stopped by a dazzling hit of knee, the Saiyan having moved once again to be in front of her.
The shock was violent and threw the young woman's torso backwards. However, even thought the blows she had taken were terribly strong, 18 was smiling. And when Vegeta appeared once again above her, his fists joined, ready to hit, he was the one to get a direct shot right in the stomach!
Vegeta was left breathless by the powerful shock that had lightly cracked his armor and he couldn't react when the frail young woman reached him to lay about him. The infernal deluge of blows didn't give Vegeta any break. He was spitting blood and eventually, was thrown on the palace's roof with a powerful blow. He disappeared with a deafening noise of breaking materials, whereas a dust cloud rose from the breach his brutal fall had made.
