In this alternative world where Mirai Trunks comes from, all our heroes were killed by the cyborgs... This story tells the details of that, it tells you about a part of the common story of universes 12 and 14.1234567891011121314151617181920212223242526272829303132333435363738394041424344454647484950515253545556575859606162
The eyes of the small fighter had naturally travelled to the figure of his young friend up in the sky. The latter expressed his impatience with a small move of his head, which brought Krilin back to reality.
Son Goku's friend worked again on getting the item of all desires. He grimaced as he contorted himself as discreetly as possible without looking away from the cyborgs and Vegeta. His poor heart missed another beat when he heard the noise of a torn off cloth that he felt was as loud as a thunder. The next moment, reality appeared differently. He had the weird feeling of having been transposed in another dimension... He didn't hear anything else but the powerful beatings of his pulse that sounded like a war drum. He must not tremble, he must not hesistate, and above all... he must not think... he closed his eyes to focus better.
The three fighters that were facing each other suddenly stopped talking as they scanned the entire area surrounding them with surprised eyes. Numerous whistlings rang out in the perimeter.
Krilin, his left hand buried in the hole that he just had made in the back of his fighting suit, at the finger on the button. The case even cracked under the pressure. The whistlings gradually faded and eventually stopped. The small warrior in the orange suit then slowly reopened his eyes with the hope that it'd be the end of a so long nightmare.
And there... The entire universe literally imploded in front of his eyes, blurring his sight with a blinding flash.
The two cyborgs were still here! And apparently they hadn't been the slighted affected by anything! It wasn't possible!
He then feverishly pressed the button of the Maserfuse once again, it burned him now, but once again, nothing happened!
He was so disappointed that he let his arms hanging, without even trying to keep hiding the small device, his eyes a bit empty still starring at the two machines that are still standing up.
18 stepped away from the burned circle that was surrounding them to pick a broken piece that had emitted one of the numerous whistlings. She curiously observed it before handing it to her brother who, in turn, starred at it with surprise and then started laughing softly.
His hilarity increased and his loud and provocative laugh rang out in the ruins. When he calmed down, he threw the junk to Vegeta. He swiftly caught it and looked at Krilin after he too had examined the small plastic piece.
It was a piece of an electronic device, the copper network of its printed circuits had melted. Vegeta calmly walked towards the small bald man. He bent down to pick up the Maserfuse from the hand of the small man who was petrified by the failure of his attempt and by fear.
The Saiyan raised his hand in which he held the small case before slowly crushing it. Accompanying his gesture with a growl, he let the small junk conspicuously fell on the ground as he glared at the fighter whose face showed distraught.
“I... I... I don't understand...” stammered Krilin.
18 suddenly appeared at Vegeta's side who gave a start. What a nerve she had to come so close to him. Once again, she bent towards Krilin who was transfixed, as he always was when she came near him.
“It's easy my dear... your device has been built to destroy the copper components in the printed circuits, right?”
“Of course... what an idiot!” Vegeta grumbled. “Yours have been built to resist the heat of the fight!”
In their back, 17 went on.
“Naturally... High density ceramic doesn't melt!”
The poor Krilin didn't know if his heart had stopped beating or if, on the contrary, it was about to explode. On one side, he had a Saiyan Prince, as cruel as he's rash who now knew they had deliberately lied to him. On the other side, a indestructible machine whose savagery was unmatched, and that he just had tried to destroy. And then, those so pure blue eyes...
