I im­me­dia­te­ly re­co­gni­zed I’k’l’s power. This time, I was pre­pa­red.

This power doesn’t stop time. It stops life. Ina­ni­ma­te objects are still subject to gravity, and an­droids are not af­fec­ted.

The first two times, during a brief instant, I felt a change in the nature of the par­ti­cles sur­roun­ding us.

I found a way to counter the change. I was able to protect myself.
