It’s possible. King Furry’s last canonical appearance in the series is the Buu arc, which was 20 years before DBM. King Furry already seemed to be middle aged in his first appearance in the King Piccolo arc, which was 40 years prior. He could’ve simply passed away from old age too. 1 Resposta/e

Man, I haven’t commented here in a long time. I can see that every Bra focused chapter is still absolutely abysmal. Although, I’m glad Salagir is at least keeping things consistent after all these years.

This “fight” had Piccolo vs Shin vibes written all over it. Once the HxH style internal monologue begun, I knew this wasn’t going to go anywhere. I guess my intuition was right.

I don’t know about you, but I think it’s a telltale sign that Salagir is tired of DBM and wants it to be over after 14+ years of working on it.

You aren't alone on that last part. I laughed quite hard at the last panel. Bra just confirms what the majority of the DBM fandom has been thinking about her for the last two years now. While this page is supposed to be a moment of sympathy for Bra (I think), it is definitely not for a number of us.

We do know that Vegetto will have some moment where he will have a chimp out moment and everyone will have to team up and stop him. We've seen it at least twice from Bardock's visions.

Well, I can safely say that I can throw the hypothesis I made last page about Bra being falsely blamed for destroying the planet out the window.

She could be. Although we can see that Vegetto easily took out the evil SSJ3 doppleganger of his daughter, she could still easily destroy parts of the universe relatively quickly. Vegetto has stated multiple times that he has prevented Bra from lashing out in the past many times and has learned to sense when she is acting eccentric, so he is at least proactive about keeping her from causing any large collateral damage.



I have my own hypothesis on what happens here: I'm starting to think that Bra isn't the one who will go crazy on this planet; I think the Jaykals will try to pull a Frieza and destroy the planet in order to take out Bra and Goten with them. Essentially a suicide move, but at least they will take slight vengeance against the warriors who killed Bojack.
Since Vegetto will sense Bra going SSJ2, he will automatically assume that she is about to go berserk and take it out on wherever she is at. He'll sense a planetary explosion and thousands to millions of people dying, and teleport there immediately.
He sees a dead Goten and Bra stranded on a remnant chunk of the planet. Vegetto doesn't get a true grasp of what happened on the planet and chastises Bra for "losing control", and with Goten dead means there are no witnesses to back her up.
Vegetto says he will kill her one day, and Bra cannot do anything to convince her father that it wasn't her fault.

As we all expected, SSJ2 Bra gave Mutton Chops, Small Mommy GF and Big Mommy GF quite the beatdown!

Why does Bra look so surprised? I thought Bra would’ve adopted her trademark SSJ2 scowl by now. Even SSJ2 Gohan looked more threatening during the Cell Games, and he was a year younger than Bra is right here. 1 Resposta/e

Although to be fair, we have seen other characters pull back their punches so they wouldn't hit a lady. Like Krillin with Zangya in the Bojack movie, Master Roshi in not hitting Bad Launch or Ran Fan, Yamcha numerous times, Gohan holding back against Videl, etc.

In the event that this isn't a meme comment, why would Woljack work for Frieza? The Herans created their super soldier program to defend themselves against the Frost Demons, specifically Cold and Polar. He would've been more likely to join Bojack's crew of space pirates than to serve as a thankless underling in Frieza's empire.

First you said U16 Woljack is stronger than SSJ Goten, then lastly you said that you doubted Woljack could ascend past 3rd Form Frieza-tier because he's a civilian and not a warrior. It's a contradiction. 1 Resposta/e

Are these members of Bojack’s race, the Jaykals I think they were called? That doesn’t look like Planet Jayna like in the second Bojack special, but it’s possible that they may be descendants of the Jaykal race based on their clothing and facial features. The female fighter seems to possess an advanced degree of psychic powers similar to Bujin and Zangya.

Goten said they aren’t powerful compared to them but strong compared to the average mortal. They seem really confident in their abilities, so my guess is they are strong as a Frost Demon, bare minimum?

I’m also guessing they want to kill Vegetto because he was partially responsible for killing Bojack? Who knows.






Gohan, Goten and Trunks use “Dad” and “Vegetto” interchangeably throughout DBM. My guess is they have all come to terms with Vegetto not being their true father, but he is at the very least a surrogate father. It’s like how some kids call their step-parents by their first names instead of “Mom” or “Dad”.




Bra would likely be able to avoid the Ultra Waver since she was already able to avoid their laser beams. When Piccolo said that a SSJ2 wouldn’t be able to survive, he means a normal SSJ2 which is still bellow Fat Buu.
Son Bra is anything but a normal Saiyan, since her SSJ2 is close to SSJ1 Vegetto. It wouldn’t do a ton of damage to her if she kept her guard up.

Wow Gorkor, you are absolutely merciless! He waited for Pan to turn SSJ to make her think she would stand a chance against him, and then Gorkor mercilessly crushed Pan off-screen! Pan didn’t even scream when she was being murdered by Bojack! This goes to show how brutal Gorkor The Invincible is!

It took the combined powers of Kibitoshin and Trunks to "defeat" Gorkor. He is still heavily suppressed and is just playing around. But Gorkor will reveal that he was just trolling and reveal just how powerful he really is! I really hope they brought some Senzu beans, because things are about to get ugly!

It's very clear they are oblivious of how severe of a threat Gorkor really is.

Pan and Trunks are only sensing Gorkor's natural ki emanating from the organic parts of his body. They forget that Gorkor is a cyborg, and they can't sense his artificial ki. Gorkor's cybernetics far surpass Mecha Frieza's and Dr. Gero's androids!

Like what U9 Yamcha did, Gorkor trained with his artificial cyborg ki to help amplify his own natural ki to further boost it. Gorkor could be SSJ3 Vegetto-tier for all they know because Gorkor is suppressing his natural ki AND because they cannot sense artificial ki. Pan and Trunks really goofed up!

Kibitoshin, the rookie Supreme Kai he is made a grave mistake by not checking to see if Gorkor is using deception magic. Gorkor is a master magician, as he can deceive his opponents into appearing weaker than he actually is, and thus catch them off guard. He regenerated from Zen Buu's lightning attack with no trouble at all.

As we've seen from the Zen Buu novel, Buu admits that his biggest weakness is in the magic department. Gorkor obviously exploited this weakness and let himself take Buu's attack head on in order to fake his death. Gorkor regenerated and took advantage of the diversion made by Tapion, Hoi and Hirudegarn to cut ahead in line so he could get a wish from Buu faster.

Gorkor only did this to humor himself as the superior magician. Gorkor didn't need a wish from Buu, he did all of this to prove Buu that he's on top of the food chain.

If even Zen Buu failed to kill normal Gorkor, then U16 is in for a rude awakening! 1 Resposta/e

Oh no, they have evoked the wrath of the mighty Gorkor! They obviously can’t sense Gorkor’s energy since he is a cyborg. And Gorkor is using deception magic to deceive Kibitoshin into thinking that he cannot use magic. It’s all going according to plan! I suspect that Gorkor will one shot them all within the next panel or two.

Chewys is actually right. I didn't believe him at first but wait until you see for yourself! Look again at Page 1546:

Read Pages 1754 and 1755 again. This is a mental image battle created by the villain of this special. Vegito has to defeat his worst fear before he can escape from this illusion, which his fear happens to be his daughter becoming evil and eventually becoming equal to or greater in strength.



It's likely due to Vegetto running out of oxygen.. After all, his physical body is submerged in water right now, as well as floating in space. He's double screwed in a sense. He cannot breath underwater, nor in outer space if he manages to escape the 1 cubic kilometer of ocean he is in. His only chance of survival is to quickly defeat his imaginary SSJ3 doppleganger of his daughter, and somehow teleport out of the watery prison floating in space to find somewhere with fresh air.

The circumstances of the Goku vs Freeza mental battle are entirely different, since all of those handicaps that Freeza created were only affecting him inside the mental battle. The only threat to their physical bodies was the 1000 Gs of gravity affecting the ring, but we are shown that both Goku and Freeza could easily handle that level of gravity, even in their base forms.

Vegetto's situation is a lot more dire than Goku's, since Goku was only running out of air in the mental battle. Vegetto is physically running out of air.






I don't think Vegetto is generating a Feet Kamehameha. He just simply caught Bra's energy blast with his foot and kicked it back at her to where she teleported to.

I think the villain will be someone we've already met before, but never expected to see again. It must be...

MONSTER CARROT!



Monster Carrot and his two henchmen have trained tirelessly for the last 41 years for revenge after Goku captured them and marooned them on the Moon. They nearly escaped death after Master Roshi destroyed the Moon during the 21st Budokai one year later, and drifted through space until they came across many planets in which they trained and accrued a powerful galactic army: the Carrot Empire! After learning that Goku fused with Vegeta to defeat the infamous Majin Buu, Monster Carrot trained even harder to prepare himself against his old adversary, and improved his carrot techniques too!

It seems like U18 Bra is pulling a Gast on her evil counterpart, but in the opposite direction!

I thought U9 Trunks and Bulma were novel canon only. However they did both appear on Chapter 19's cover page and Bulma appeared again on Chapter 33, Page 739. Maybe Salagir changed his mind and decided there were enough characters in U9 already, so he wrote them out? I know he made a note about this somewhere, but I have no idea where to look for it. 1 Resposta/e

And here we go! I believe the next page will be the first ever interaction between U18 Bra and U16 Bra outside of the Chapter 11 cover. That was pretty brave of our Bra to do. I hope a few other spectators will crawl out of the woodwork to stall Majin Bra just a bit longer. Maybe Goten or U9? Kakarot's severed head maybe?


The gravity ring isn't active anymore since Majin Frieza destroyed the Vargas control tower, so none of their technology currently works right now. That includes the energy barrier protecting the ring and the "send person back to their universe" button.



Do we have any proof of that though? Unless Majin Bra didn't actually destroy Cell's nucleus, and mistakenly somehow hit Mini-Cell Jr's nucleus. That would kind of contradict itself, since we haven't seen any Cell Jr regenerate yet in the entire series. But being the biggest Cell fan on here (probably), I still hope that he is alive too. To see Gohan & Cell team up for one last strike a la Goku & Frieza did against Jiren in Dragon Ball Super would be a really cool reference!



I wonder where she would have gotten a Senzu from. U18 didn't bring any with them when they came with the Vargas since they thought it would be a simple tournament. U16 is the only universe that we know of that brought Senzus with them due to Vegetto's enormous energy consumption. Maybe she got it from U9?

It is definitely easier and faster to take off your gloves than it is to take off your shoes. You are right about Bra not being able to react in time. She saw Eleim shoot the Carbonite at her and she thought it was just a normal attack, versus Phipsil catching her off guard and now seeing the Carbonite. It also spreads incredibly fast so she’s lucky to get away with only that. We saw how fast Broly died in U3 to Carbonite.

My guess is that Bra panicked and shot a blast since it is easier to perform than to physically manipulate her own energy into forming a blade. She’s been on high alert for most of the fight, with people catching her off-guard left and right. 1 Resposta/e

Did Bra just shoot off her own leg?! Wow, I did not expect that to happen. Granted it’s a lot easier to take off to your gloves than it is to take off your boots. It’s like an animal that is forced to chew off its own leg after getting caught in a bear trap to escape. That’s brutal, and goes to show how wild she has become. A wild, cornered animal.

I'd imagine Phipsil used up almost all of her energy when she used the barrier to protect U16 Gohan from Bra's punch, as well as his Super Kamehameha that he reflected back at Bra and towards himself right after that. Eleim and Nedwook also experienced similar problems with their energy running low when facing similar strength opponents: SSJ1 Bra and Cell respectively.





I'm certain they are able to control the amount of power output their Ultra Armors can deliver, albeit also sacrificing efficient energy consumption by doing so. You know how the old saying goes: a candle that burns twice as bright lasts half as long.

We saw Zen Buu make this mistake with the Ultra Armor as pointed out by Eleim on Page 1159:



Except that Phipsil wasn't recklessly playing around with the Ultra Armor; she was using its max output to keep themselves alive against a vastly stronger opponent.. I also don't think Bra would have allowed Phipsil or Nedwook to fly back and find another set of Ultra Armor to use. She was already delivering near fatal blows to U18 Gohan and Cell in the last main chapter. Besides, Phipsil has 1% energy left. She may not have been able to fly fast enough with her suit to make it. It didn't take Bra very long to find Cell's nucleus, so she didn't have time anyway. Plus it would have left Gohan and Buu in a bad spot to hold Bra off and potentially get them killed.

It wouldn't do much. Bra was already steamrolling through two Gohans, Cell and the two Heliotes fighting together. Buu + Gohan would be weaker then Super Buuhan when he fought SSJ1 Vegito. Majin SSJ2 Bra is pretty much at SSJ1 Vegito in terms of power. She'd wipe the floor with them if they decided to fight head on.

Does one need to have a fully intact digestive tract for a Senzu bean's magic to work? Yamcha got impaled through the stomach area by Dr. Gero and managed to recover just fine after Krillin fed the bean to him.

Incredibly brutal... She's so desperate to make sure nobody gets the Senzus except for her. She's definitely going for the mini-Cell Jrs next so that they can't deliver the Senzu to Cell.

I made a lengthy post about this on the forum already, but Cell has given her the most trouble so far. His idea of allying himself with the most powerful and useful spectators has benefited them greatly. The ability to create teleporting Cell Jrs has saved the heroes a lot of time and saved their lives with getting Senzus to keep them in the game longer. He's even learned to adapt to her Instant Transmission and figured out where she will appear next and counter it.

I wonder if the Senzu will get delivered to Cell or not? It would be too soon of Bra to get it right away, since she already stole two Senzus from U16 Piccolo after she ambushed him.

Maybe Kakarot will be the one to get it? It sounds absolutely crazy, but he should still be conscious despite being just a head and an upper torso. He can't die, so bringing him back would be cool. That huge reveal of Kakarot being immortal last chapter shouldn't go to waste, especially now since he's out of the tournament and doesn't have any role to play other than defeating his own universe's Vegeta with the help of Potential Unlocked-Raditz.

I enjoy an informative mini-comic every once in a while. It's crazy to think that Kakarot "died" that many times and we just never thought of it.

Hopefully this is all a foreshadowing for Kakarot to still be alive! Even if U16 Gohan reduced him to a disembodied head, he should still be alive. Maybe he will pull an Android 16 and request one of the remaining bystanders, like U18's Bra or Goten to bring his head to U9's apartment to recruit them and his brother Raditz to help fight Bra? 1 Resposta/e

Very much so. To further reinforce your statement, Vegeta in U18 was able to formulate a plan to defeat Frieza because he learned about the Dragon Balls thanks to overhearing Goku and Piccolo through Raditz’s last transmission (about Earth’s set and later about potentially Namek’s set). The mere thought of him being able to wish for immortality and unable to be killed by Frieza meant that Vegeta was more bold in his approach in the main series. Plus his ability to sense ki and the realization of abusing Zenkais meant that Vegeta could fight his way through Frieza’s ranks and become stronger.

In U13, Piccolo and Kami have been dead for years thanks to Kakarot, so nobody else alive would be aware of their existence besides him and the Namekians on their home planet. The possible exception would be Raditz, since he is the closest person to Kakarot, and should naturally learn of his brother’s time on Earth, including the Dragon Balls. As for Vegeta, he already has two strikes under his belt instead of just one, like in U18. He is in Hell in hot water right now, thus is desperate to keep Frieza’s trust for now, and his resentment for him under the radar still. I’m not sure if Vegeta and Nappa are at the same power level as they were in U18, but they are at a disadvantage now, since they still don’t know how to sense ki.
I would say by the next few pages, the two brothers will spill the beans on their chance to wish for eternal life, and then Vegeta will formulate a plan to go to Namek together, all four of them, and possibly even beat Frieza to Namek by a few days. 1 Resposta/e

Cell self-destructed because he had already coughed up Android 18 and had lost his perfect form. Gohan took away his entire life achievement, so Cell decided he would destroy Gohan and the Earth with him, just to make Gohan realize how helpless and foolish he was to not finish him off despite the massive power gap between them.

Cell received the Zenkai after he was reduced to his nucleus and regenerated. His biology takes the concept of recovering from a near fatal wound to the extreme.
Whereas a normal Saiyan like Vegeta abused Zenkais after getting a massive beating by the Z-Fighters and Zarbon, his power level only icnreased by ~125% each time.
The biggest increase he had was when Krillin blasted him through the chest, which brought him from being on par with 1st Form Frieza to higher than 3rd Form Frieza. I'm not going to list actual power levels, but the Zenkai boosted Vegeta's power by 400% easily.
The more extreme the injury after healing, the more extreme the Zenkai will be.

Since a near fatal injury for Cell is being obliterated into just a few cells, his Zenkais are obviously going to be enormous. Unlike other Saiyans though, it takes a far lot more punishment for Cell to get to that level of damage for him to regenerate and receive a power-up. He almost has to exclusively fight opponents that are stronger than him or that possess an ability that can reduce him to the single cellular level. In that regard, he's less broken than you think.

I had a gut feeling the Heliotes would return!
If Cell took the time to spare the Piccolos to use them for his master plan later, then it isn't too far-fetched to believe that he would have spared other fighters as well. Who knows, maybe Cell has even more allies still waiting to strike? U9? Mystic Raditz?

Either way, Bra has really underestimated her opponents. She can't even leave Babidi unattended now, and no longer has Senzus to regenerate from a possibly lethal attack.
