The reason Freeza doesn't want Vegeta to get rid of Nasu is actually incredibly simple, and it's stereotypical as hell that everyone forgot:

FREEZA DOESN'T WANT THE SUPER SAIYAN LEGEND COMING TRUE.

Having all of the remaining Saiyans in one place allows him the peace of mind that he can kill him at his leisure, OR they'll die on a mission piecemeal or one at a time. Either way, it's a brutally simplistic way for him to deal with the Saiyans if he ever felt like it because then he won't have to comb the Universe to find them.

Writer knows their stuff.

No, his personality wasn't lost. If that were the case, Vegetto would have had none of Vegeta in him because of how much stronger Goku was at the time of his birth.

Zamasu (pre-corruption, red flags aside) has a POWERFUL sense of justice. Right and wrong exist on a scale, and all it took was context and a warning to show Zamasu what justice really was.

[Future] Trunks, post-Androids, lives for justice. He's seen the horrors of a destroyed world and would rather fight than let things go. This lends itself well to how Trunks operates and who he is now.

His personality isn't lost. He's just so closely aligned with Zamasu and willing to work with anyone like him that the two are basically the same person, status and race aside. He would gladly ally himself with a good Zamasu if it means stopping Black.

I'm just sad the coat part of Zamasu's robe over Zamasu's legs isn't there. Would've been a banger outfit otherwise.

The crashout is crazy

I would like to remind everyone:

NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM MATCH NAPPA'S POWER.

Goku's base power by the time Nappa and gang showed up a YEAR LATER was 8,001. Not even Gohan's worst outburst surpassed this. Goku won on pure endurance and numbers.

The humans have NO chance of victory. Sure, Krillin could try to spam Kienzans but remember, this is a new technique on an Earthing BARELY capable of withstanding Raditz, which is to say it takes a moment to prepare and shoot off. These Saiyans are not only more cohesive (despite how it looks), but have Nasu on their side, Goku's BEEN dead, and Piccolo (and therefore Kami) are all gone too. There is no way for them to gain enough strength to handle a dead-serious Raditz 1-on-1, nevermind that these Saiyans have done MORE combat than original between Raditz's visit and their arrival, and are therefore stronger than their previous levels (Except for Vegeta maybe, since he has rarely faced anyone who could damage him enough to get Zenkai'd anyways, being triple Nappa's original 5k~ power level) and may be anywhere from 2-7k stronger in units than before.

So no, the Humans are NOT winning this. Short of Vegeta deciding to betray Freeza (and we all know how that'll go) none of them can prevent Earth's downfall.

So everyone has conveniently forgot this was the story of how Broly was found alone in space covered in ice and instead has chosen to rail the author for not making an easy win on the side of the Universal defenders.

Of course it "doesn't make sense", it's a story about Dragonball using Z Broly of all people. This isn't your personal comeback story like the days of comics where the fan base picks the ending.

In Super, most Universes (save for like what, 6 of them?) were gonna be erased. No competition, no tournament, nothing. Just "Wow, they're not doing so hot. Oh well, time to go!" <erased>

Conclusion: Earth is NOT safe.

[Bonus: End of Z] Buu would eventually be reborn anyways. It's only a question of whether Buu absorbs Broly in time or not, and either way, Earth gets destroyed - either Buu finds it first, or the Buu struggling to contain the power starts to destroy the Universe itself, taking Earth with it. Alternatively, Gero, who may still yet be Androiding himself (albeit with VASTLY different results, as it's only a matter of time until someone finds Goku's corpse) may see fit to take over the planet since no one can really stop him. It won't prevent anything I've said before, but trust me, Gero is VERY much in play here. Alternatively, Turles may arrive and drain the planet of its power for his Tree and just dip, or Slug appears and does whatever the hell he planned to do to Earth (I never saw the actual movie, only TFS's version), or Wheelo comes out of the ice and makes his moves and eventually creates a new body for himself to do...whatever afterwards. Alternatively, again, Garlic Jr. may also descend and enslave the planet using that Black Mist of his. The worst of all of these is the other Tuffle who would birth Hachiyack which won't happen because he'll simply take the souls of those vengeful spirits, and despite Earth being such a backwater planet he won't really find too many of those, nevermind ones who may be of use, except for MAYBE Piccolo-Daimyo and Kami, but by the time he finds Earth they may just be in the Otherworld and Hell respectively Hachiyack won't be born because none of them can threaten him enough to MAKE him be born. Hoi, who would want to release Hirudegarn, would only really stop to either hide from someone or ravage Earth with Hirudegarn. In any scenario, Earth is NOT safe.

[Super] Zeno just erases it and other Universes. No questions. No Zamasu, no Beerus, no Freeza, no Broly (either Broly).

[GT] Safe until Buu appears, because no one is gonna climb the tower in time, and at worst, if they get past Popo somehow and find the hidden Black Star balls, they won't recover them in time to prevent the annihilation of the Universe to Minus Energy. That, or Dr. Myuu finds the planet and decides to base himself there for shits and giggles. Note that Baby was created using King Tsurufu's DNA, TECHNICALLY making him a prince, or a king, if you can get past the fact that he's literally a living metal blob at this point with no real enemies. Even if he was born, nothing would be done to prevent Earth from being a second Tuffle World, and because Baby never found a Saiyan body, he'd likely inhabit human bodies, until he got to Roshi or the Crane School Teacher. There'd be no Super Baby.

Certain things won't happen, too:

The Nameks won't be hunted for their Dragon Balls, at least not immediately, once they are discovered by Freeza. Only if Zarbon and Dodoria manage to squeeze the information from a Namek do they find out about the Dragon Balls, but by now, it would be too late - I suspect that Guru would be dead and the replacement won't have the power or knowledge of the Dragon Balls to make them work. Ultimately, they'll all be killed and the planet sold for farmland. I'm not certain whether Ginyu and his men perish from heart attacks (I heard somewhere they were dealing with Yardrat before Namek) but they won't even be needed.

The Kais won't get involved until Broly does his thing. But if they go the route of killing him the second they get to, or toss him into a sun or black hole before he can get too strong, nothing else is really done. Once Broly is out, they won't really care about anything else.

Bojack stays sealed. Yeah.

Gero will still likely create 17 and 18. They won't be incredibly powerful, but they WILL be disobedient likely, assuming he rushes things. But more likely, he won't, and they'll be just as obedient as 19 is. I can imagine them wearing his fit now, and honestly, I kinda like it. Wish I could draw it though. Hell, I might even try to. But my point is, he'll likely mass-produce Androids at some point. Red Ribbon (under his rule) will be reborn and will be Earth's rulers until it is destroyed.

When Beerus wakes up from his nap (late as hell btw), his dream will still take effect - Goku not reaching that stage doesn't mean Beerus's dream goes away for some reason - so when he DOES find Earth, he'll likely erase it anyways. Something will cause him to, and I can guarantee 40% of that will be Bulma's fault. End of story there until his Universe's eventual erasure.

That's about it really.

Earth won't be noticed by anyone for any real reason, and once it is noticed, they will NOT like what's to come. Earth will be, at best, enslaved, and at worst, non-existent, assuming Humanity doesn't somehow kill themselves off beforehand.

He caught him off-guard because Broly's never had anyone hit him with it. That's why it "worked", it's because he's never been through that before.

It's also the reason why he broke out so easily - remember, Super Saiyan Goku could also break out of it. It isn't that it bypasses one's power, it was literally out of nowhere. But, Broly being a Saiyan and all, adapts incredibly quickly.

THEORY TIME!!!!

In the past, technology isn't as advanced for the Saiyans as now.

Therefore, I believe they could have made use of either an orbiting body around their planet (remember, they have a moon, but how many I don't know) and hit it with a ki blast meant to purposely shine bright and it's light meant to scatter like natural moonlight. It would dissipate and diffuse in the atmosphere on its way down and act as natural moonlight, causing the transformation.

Hate me for this, but I loved this. It's pretty cool to see Elder Kaioshin using his age and experiences to try to solve this issue.

Definitely a dope thing to see he isn't just some pervy old man.
