Chibi Japan Expo February 2009
So we were at French event Chibi Japan Expo, in Marseille. Here are photos and videos.
| On your right, a video documentary. No subtitles but, well, images. See the faces of the team :) This is an interview of Salagir done by Thibarik (french only) : And then, the text interview of Salagir, Gogeta Jr and Faye on Daily-Mag [fr] | Flash and Javascript are needed in order to play video. |
![]() | Here is the first photo we made. These are Faye and Gogeta Jr (Thibarik holds the camera). We've all arrived at the train station, and a friend of Salagir took us to him. With all the luggages and stress, getting lost in the city takes energy. See the exausting in Faye's eyes ^^. |
| And here is the team all together for the first time in the whole history of DBM! Salagir, Faye and Gogeta Jr. | ![]() |
![]() | Before... |
| After! | ![]() |
| From left to right : Thibarik, Faye, Salagir, Gogeta Jr. | ![]() |
![]() | First visitors... cool ^^ |
![]() | Gogéta Jr draw a big lot of illustrations for a lot of fan, all impressed by his creations. |
| Many generations stopped on our booth. It's nice to see people in their thirties liking this fanmanga with their children! | ![]() |
![]() | Salagir did what he can to draw some Dragon Ball when Gogeta Jr was overwhelmed, and also had some readers of Geek's World |
| A lot of people at this event! | ![]() |
![]() | The mini-manga with unreleased pages... This item sold so well, we didn't have any left for the last day. |
![]() | |
![]() | Here is your Vegetto! Thanks Gogeta Jr. |

Awesome, lots of cool stuff there... too bad I didn't had the money to travel from Bucharest all the way to Marseille :P
I'm glad to see that there are fans of manga and anime from all ages categories in France... wish that happened in Romania. :P
And I'd have some drawing requests for Gogeta Jr as well!
xD
too bad he doesn't have the time :P
Anyway, well done! :)
And I am also interested if you post all the color images there in the bonus section :D

What Mini-Manga? Do you mean the Dragonball Multiverse Mini-Manga that's in the "News" section or do you mean a Mini-Manga of Dragonball Multiverse (the tournament) with pages we never saw? Because I like to see those pages then :P

Hey! Salagir!
If you sold mini-manga with pages that wasnt released yet, does it mean you have the pages long before you release it to the site?
And by the way, i really have some hard time in english and france...
I'm from Israel, so it won't be easy for me to fly and buy thouse posters...
English & France are really hard language ><"
i wish there was Hebrew here and there =D

A few rules to follow when you post
Your comments may be deleted if they don't comply with any of the following rules. Moreover, you may be banned, depending on the content or the insistence of your messages. These rules may be applied even if your comment is about DBM!
#1. Any comment about the moderation will not be tolerated in that comment space. It's not allowed to ask why your comment had been deleted either. It's out of topic. If you want to discuss it, please send your question to : "DBMmodSyrias" [at] "web.de"
#2. In that comment space, comments are only about DBM, and mostly about the current page. It's forbidden to speak about anything else. Debates linked to DBM but drifting to something else than the current page must not last for too long. If it's related with the current page but the two sides just stand firm, then it's useless to let it go on further.
#3. Do not post insult, provocation, racist, sexist, (etc) comments.
#4. Follow the rules of the English language as much as possible. No sms. If we consider a comment isn't readable, it'll be deleted.
#5. No flooding. So, do not send twice (or more) the same message, links or comments whose content is written with capital letters. The 'first' and other comments of the kind are not tolerated either.
#6. Ads aren't allowed in the comments, even if it's just for one time. Even if you're introducing yourself. Even if they're about DBZ. Even if they are short.
The 'partner sites' page is here for that.
No link can be posted, unless it had a direct connection with the current page.
#7. The “signature” aren't tolerated either (a signature is a sentence or a link at the end of your comment, that is repeated – or not – and that doesn't have any connection with what you just said and with DBM)
#8. Please, make sure that your comment does make sense, at least a little. So, please, do not send comment that are just 'yeah!' 'oh!' 'huh?' 'pfff'... so that people may know what you're talking about.
#9. Do not double post (two posts one after the other). You can use the 'edit' button. Of course, you're allowed to send several comments on the same page (well, no spamming either).
#10. Do not pretend you're another commenter.
#11. Do not write several messages with exactly the same idea on a page.
#12. No value judgement! Provocation and/or judgements (such as 'you're an idiot', 'you certainly are a kid', 'learn to read', 'your comment is rubbish', 'such a debate is useless'...) are forbidden. You comment and debate about the comics, not about the readers and their intentions. Moreover, if a debate doesn't interest you, do not take part in it.
#13. Besides, do not try to second-guess what the authors (or even the readers) have in mind. For instance: “It's obvious they're not motivated anymore”, “DBM will soon end”. You can't read people's thoughts.
#14. Please, avoid political, religious, identity, community etc... references.
#15. Do not accuse one another of this and that. For instance: a reader who dislike Bra isn't necessarily misogynous, a reader who dislike Uub isn't necessarily a racist.
#16. Do not be extreme to the point you lose every objectivity, even if you're defending DBM. Do not think you're moderator. So, for instance, do not write: 'Don't read if you don't like it.' 'Go and try and draw better!' or 'Stop criticizing!!' Readers may, or may not, approve of the scenario, the characters or the drawings. Debate if you wish, but keep objective. Really: do not try to do the job of the moderators, you just give them more work to do.
#17. If ever you've questions about DBM (the publication of the next page, how we work...), do not ask it here. Read the FAQ. If you can't find the answer in there, you can send a mail to the DBM team in the 'The Authors' section.
#18. Do not reply to anyone who doesn't follow one of these rules for your comment may be deleted, even if it's about DBM too.
#19. Don't ask how gravatar works, don't test your gravatar here. Seriously. Gravatar is easy to use. If you can't do it, just post without avatar. If you want help, search internet or gravatar.com.
Text processing:
Add *, / or _ around some text, and it'll format it *bold*, /italic/ or _underlined_.
Usual BBcode works too: [b][/b], [i][/i] and [u][/u].
If you type a url or e-mail directly, it'll be made as a link. If you want to make a link around text different than the url, use [url=thelink]the text[/url], like in phpBB.
To show an image, use [img]url_of_image[/img]. This image must be uploaded on another site already.
If you begin your line with >, the color will be different, use it to quote other messages.
