Slow clap... To standing ovation! The Cold's Frost Demon Reduction artwork in the bottom panel is simply a joy, I might even make it my wallpaper. I mean I wondered if Ginyu would try to swap with Gohan, but way underestimated his cunning in achieving this, I thought it would be 50/50 if Gohan got caught by it, as a surprise attack. And I find it interesting that 21's black smoke swaps with the soul and not the body. If our Namek friend here were to withdraw the boundaries of his time unstopper, would 4th reduction Coldhan just be pulverised to bits?

This is a brilliant sequence, the 130 days later each time would be hilarious in an animated form. Poran is showing a little bit of that personality of will that Shenron has in the super era, especially in Daima when he refuses to grant Gomah an additional wish, as that's just for regulars! Haha.

Great action! Smooth direction. Looking forward to seeing Son Bra continue to learn her value throughout this final chapter. That she's more than just a ticking time bomb of raw, undisciplined power, but a true hero. This will lead no doubt to her mastering all her tranformations with a clear heart, and without needing to give into her rage to do so and finishing out her growth arc.

As much as it is an amusing comic book moment to have the gravity suddenly switch, I'm sure there would be a gradual shift to and from micro-gravity. And it brings up an interesting question that the 'camp asteroid' (ooh err) must have a gravity of approximately 1g for the spectators to be in comfort. Forgive me if this was noted when the gang first is awoken by Piccolo's bubble.

Surely cyborg conversion that is reversible or modular seems like a more advanced and difficult measure of engineering prowess over methods that are completely permanent grafts?

It might even be more advisable to become human again as per(dbm) canon they need regular maintenance? to prevent reduced function. This 'android' civilisation might know a thing or two more about that themselves than 17/18 did in their timelines however.

Can't wait to see what I assume to be the final chapter of their adventures against Gero's androids, and the final battle with Cell Min (as opposed to Cell Max geddit).

Goku having a strangely moralistic pragmatic thought about the Ultras, for him anyway...

So do you think all Nameks work out the time freeze counter after witnessing it 3 times? I presume they'd all be able to learn it, but in my opinio only the Piccolos and Gast had the experience within them to figure out the counter like that.

10/10 dialogue there from Vegeta, about what motivates him vs Gohan in fights.

Although you don't need the body to revive since Namek saga, so... would that same motivation still apply? Gohan is smart enough to know that he's not preventing them from coming back, even he realised not to dispute poetic Vegeta. 1 Resposta/e

The quiet rage of the prince of all Saiya-jin.

I feel like it will be quiet, or at least carefully controlled, a mature & wise Vegeta in his 60s knows an outburst isn't the best route to revenge OR saving the universe.

I guess we will find out eventually how Gast became so much stronger by the time of the Multiversal Tournament (training with Freeza for four months in Baba's palace? j/k) or why he is much weaker now. Because of the breaks in the side-story I don't even remember if he has had time to regain his stolen energy?

With Cell and Gast outside, Gero had a moment and saw his notifications popping off. And his soldiers dropping off, one by one. Thorn was easily able to hack Gero's tech, but Gero probably never considered the possible need for defences against advanced alien technology. But nevertheless I'm interested to see the resolution of this Gast story, which I actually was enjoying before. The 'what if Gero and his Androids assumed power' and we just got Red Ribbon Earth is a great concept, and I liked all the different Android designs and their costumes.

Any strong warrior could blow up XXI's host body, like Zen Buu did. But isn't XXI's gaseous form sort of impervious to physical damage? Vegetto is a demi-god who came up with the technique that can vaporise Buu, but his entrance in this scene isn't exactly giving 'Brilliant Scientist' (haha ocean dub ref).

I wonder if they go through with the wish opening multiversal travel to not only the prime Vargas, how long will it take Zen Buu to notice? He could even sense it immediately, and just burst through as everything is kicking off! (with Uub) He had that whole montage about trying to crack the formula, but that turned out to be a hard rule.

If the Namekian refuses to ask Porunga for this with South piping up in the background, I'm sure XXI knows enough Namekian to simply utter the phrase himself, gagging everyone. It's a fairly basic contingency & if he hadn't learned the language from consuming his universe's Namekians, his dragon could obviously teach him the required phrases.

That's assuming Porunga even can perform the wish, maybe if this is the prime universe Porunga?

The comments of the spectators in the stands are sounding very similar to some of the comments in this thread! This twist may have been planned from the start, not a very shonen ending, but maybe consistent with the creative style of the fan comic?

And just because it's the end of the first multiversal tournament, I hope it doesn't mean the end of DBM yet, as most of the characters expressed a desire to do another tournament without complex magical abilities, just physical fighting and energy projection. Hopefully once the whole XXI debacle is put to bed, we get to see that. Of course conditional upon the universes bringing their own food, and a share of ingredients for the feasts! So they don't apparently causing famine in Vargas world lol.

So are they going to want to break for lunch, and XXI will suddenly get all impatient and throw a bit of a fit, because of how hungry he is? And always having to sit around and wait for everyone else to eat! He will insist that he just gets his 2 wishes, and goes home. And that could lead to the final confrontation? It's just he'll look to all his co-conspirators in the boxes, many of them with predictable Saiyan hunger in their eyes, no one making a peep. And then he'll just kick off, signalling to them all that it now begins, and you to have to fight hungry and mad.

The timestop is so brutal, just turns organic matter into porcelain to be smashed, which is ironic because it doesn't affect the living dolls, inorganic and cyber-organic Jinzoningen. In retrospect of the Gast backstory where the Earth is overrun by Gero's 'Androids', it stands to reason that there might be a universe out there where Gast and his travelling companion were taken out suddenly before they had a chance to find the rest of the gang, and that restored Red Ribbon army is now the dominant group of powerful beings in that universe. The Vargas definitely would have invited them, had they found it. Think of all the distinct uniforms, and little personalities they had. I know the obvious explanation to their absence is that this Gast backstory was not fleshed out when DBM was started and all the universes were decided upon, so my headcanon would be that they were too militant when approached by the Vargas and the Namekians they travelled with. And too well coordinated. But if they had been around when I.K.L was born they could have swarmed him fairly easily, wouldn't you agree? Although they'd probably have been eliminated from the competition by that point.

Goku is the perfect example of sportsmanlike cunning in martial arts. He would assume that XXI has done his research, knows that Goku likes to play fair and draw a fight out, trading blows and gradually escalating power output. And he would subvert that expectation, tactically, by appearing to hesitate... Most readers assume XXI will interrupt Goku's sentence, but personally I hope it's just a setup for Goku to use his first unexpected 'trick', a simple after-image feint perhaps? To remind XXI that everyone in the stadium knows he has no combat ability of his own. So he better hurry up and bring out whatever fighter he's going to summon, because that's the only move he's got that has a chance of victory.

The way that eg. the dragon, or the spirit bomb knows how someone is pure hearted, or evil in such a grey world, is already a suspension of disbelief... But Raditz's entire ki essence being able to auto-draw/withdraw is just abusing the mechanics. The only way to redeem this concept, that I can think of is that Raditz could be fighting someone who is tempted by the dark side, and as the fight continues the opponent gives into their darker urges, which ironically for them causes Raditz to gain the upper hand and stomp. Maybe because he was unable to finish the job, due to the Namekian in the control centre and their stupid strange hearing abilities, he technically didn't kill his opponent after forfeiture, loopholing him into the clear despite intent. If he can absorb energy and matter, surely he could have tanked even Vegito's attacks? I'm not sure why he needs to employ all this subterfuge and asking his djinn the simplest way to defeat everyone. Unless it is only physical damage that he is vulnerable to? But if you touch his non-corporeal form you might also be consumed. Maybe we need Hélior technology to dice his gaseous form into atoms from a distance.
