Tbf, she doesn’t say that he’s for sure going to hell. She says that Yemma was HESITATING about sending him to hell. His good deeds aren’t being forgotten. They’re just being put up against his bad ones. Also, in some religions around the world, including my own, if someone goes to hell, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll stay in hell forever. They can “serve time” there so to speak, depending on how many bad actions they did before eventually going to heaven. Maybe Dragon Ball is like that too? 1 Resposta(s)

This fight takes place in Age 770, which is three years after the androids first appear in Age 767. So he had three years to train Gohan. Personally, I like seeing how it took time before all the fighters died and not that they died immediately like the original seems to suggest. It makes it feel like more of a real struggle and not a one sided plot fueled massacre.

It’s unfortunate but most people will likely just read the page, enjoy it, and then move on with their day. It’s mostly the haters who feel the need to spread hate while the enjoyers are smart enough to just mind their own business. Thankfully, there is a good DBM discord for positivity. 1 Resposta(s)

I haven’t seen anyone else mention this yet, so I will. I really like the subtle facial expression changes to the U18 cast in between the two panels. I didn’t even realize those were there at first. I thought the shot was just to convey that time was moving again the but the facial changes also made it clear that the crew was just reacting to Vegetto, IKL, and the Androids. Really cool thing to notice.

Bootleg Ultra Instinct or bootleg Mystic powerup incoming? I’m leaning more towards UI, mostly because Salagir commented that he came up with this before Super came out. He wouldn’t have needed to say that if it wasn’t something close to UI. Or maybe it’s similar to God Ki. By suppressing one’s ki rather than releasing it, they can become more powerful?

Either way, I’m so excited for this. One of the most hype fights in DBM coming up right here. But I’m just as interested in seeing the other universes reactions to this as I am for the fight itself. Particularly U16.

With how many reactions that will probably have to be shown, along with the hype surrounding the fight itself, is this going to be a double chapter?

I just want to point out that it’s interesting that Gohan calls his father “Goku”. Did he do it to avoid confusion with Vegetto from his own universe or has it been so long since he’s accepted Vegetto as his father that he’s stopped seeing Goku as his dad? Despite what all the memers in the community keep regurgitating, Goku was a decent dad to Gohan and Vegetto isn’t all that great from what we’ve seen either so I seriously doubt that Gohan has a negative impression of Goku. Probably the first option. Still just wanted to point it out.

I’m gonna spread some positive energy. I liked this fight. We got to see the fight happen due to their imagination and it shows some character growth for Bra. Also, Gast actually stands a chance against XXI unlike Bra.

I always enjoy seeing a new Novel chapter. Favorite way to experience DBM. Can't wait for the conclusion to the battle.

Thinking about it, Goku and Vegeta are a pretty terrible combination. The Vegeta that fused into Vegetto had just sold his soul to the devil, sacrificed his life for it to mean absolutely nothing, and been humiliated by his rival who kept a transformation from him. Vegeta was so prideful at this point in the series and felt absolutely humiliated. He would have done anything to find some sense of pride in himself. Goku was still lighthearted and easy going. That is a very bad combination. Vegetto is the strongest being in his universe with absolutely no challenge whatsoever. Vegetto is very proud of his strength and loves to flaunt it around. He's so sure of himself that he believes that from every single universe that exists, nothing and no one can beat him (This was stated in the text novelization when Vegetto fought Ginyu in Bra's body). The difference between Vegeta and Vegetto in this case would be that Vegeta would make sure that everyone knows that he is the strongest and would do whatever it takes to assert his authority (check out Vegeta of the 13th). But Vegetto, having Goku's easygoingness, wouldn't do that. He just believes that everyone else is beneath him and doesn't care enough to actually look at what's going on around him. Bra has a huge temper problem as we've seen multiple times. But he doesn't actually care enough to find a way to truly cure Bra's problem. Against Zangya, he just says "Don't do it or I'l disqualify you". He doesn't care enough to actually fix the problem at his source. He just brute forces everything. In one of the special chapters, Vegeto didn't care enough to actually help Bra and just left it to Gohan after getting frustrated. Vegetto has a lot of problems that he needs to work out, but as we will see later based on Bardock's vision, he's going to seriously screw up.

Is it weird that I am excited to see Kakarotto kill Gohan? Considering how important Gohan is to Goku in any other universes and how influential he is, the duality established is fascinating to see.

These pages make me so excited for when we return back to the tournament. Can’t wait.
