It's a weakness when strong enemy arrives. Most likely U13 Vegeta who isn't that strong, but what if it's someone stronger, like U13 Vegitto?

Piccolo needs to fuse with himself, the namekians, and Gast. Then they can defeat XXI and then just use the dragon balls to reverse the merger. Easy peasy.

Like I already explained last page. Gast is not stupid, he knows Cell has Namekian Cell's and how his own regeneration works. And even if he doesn't figure it out from that, he can still study Gero's work on Cell, to learn about the nucleus. It's not that complicated.

Also, it's a miracle to me that people think Cell could actually survive that. He's not U17 Cell, who can make his core wander in his body and trained to reinforce it. Cell is dead.

Again, the Namekian DNA is almost irrelevant here.

A normal Namekian would not survive this. The Cell we know was able to survive those near disintegrations because he had Frost Demon DNA.

Without Frost Demon DNA, Namekian DNA is only helpful with lost appendages or anything that’s not immediately vital.

If a Namekian gets even a hole through their chest or heart they’re finished if not at least close to it.
But Gast isn't a normal Namekian. His regeneration ability is much stronger. He survived being cut to pieces and blasted by SSJ3 ghost Vegeta. Which is like almost equivalent to Cell, only difference being that his head needs to stay intact.

The point is, that Gast knows that Cell has Namekian DNA. So he can regenerate. Gast knows how his own regeneration works. And Gast surely recognized, that Cell isn't just a "normal being" with some Namekian DNA. I'm just clarifying that for people who think that Gast "has to find out" about Cell's nucleus by seeing Cell regenerate from his core. He killed Cell Jr. with an eye laser straight through the head, which should usually be an instant kill anyway, doesn't matter if he knew the core is inside his head or not.

And again, even if he doesn't have all that knowledge, he can study how Gero created Cell. Then he would know for sure.
That U17 Cell can actually move his core around in his body, is a whole different story, that actually doesn't really matter for the topic at hand here.

Well, that's a different thing I'm not really fond of. Goku and Vegeta's power was kind of nebulous for most of DBM, but around here is when it started becoming clear their level hasn't changed much since the Buu saga.

Tbh even if their base power has remained static for 20 years (which feels weird to me), I feel like they should have at least developed some impressive new techniques that might catch Cell off guard.

Took me a sec, but "Change the name of the web comic" indicates that there is going to be a lot of content still going on that will be post-tournament.

Nonetheless, it's very disappointing that the only Bulma present in the DBM tournament does nothing (no interaction with anyone, no side-plot to emphasize that Bulma is indeed constantly maintaining Cyborg Yamcha, making her a key component why Yamcha is SSJ1+ Powerlevel Tier, etc). So blatant that she either misses everything because she's in the bathroom, or literally watches everything from the sidelines without comment. That was an incredibly sad and wasted potential of her character. This is why I always wished U9 Trunks and Bulma were DBM Novel Exclusives.

Wait, if elder 9 knows wh xxi is doesn't that cotradict the multiverse page that in the broly special that says universe 5 split off from the main universe.Elder kai is in most universes so xxi theoretically should exist in all.

Man I hope this was part of some plan Gast had. Because between Buu killing him and XXI making him look like a terrified child, he has been knocked down to look like a wimp almost as much as Vegito has. Crazy how the 2 strongest and coolest/badass characters at the start have turned into chumps.

Also I do wonder, if that Namek heard Gast, then wouldn't he have also heard XXI continue to attack/consume Gast after he forfeited? I mean he did tell Gast basically that they can't hear you so I'm not stopping. Wouldn't that have made him lose by DQ?

I looked at the Gohan+Goku fusion story in the colored section. He one shots Buutenks in one shot, a fraction of the time Raditz and Kakarotto were fused, so why didn't Elder Kai not un-fuse them in that story?
I'm only bringing this stuff up because it's been heavily established this comic went by Dbz cannon rules, and now we got a change that creates plot holes for a story that's been going on for over a decade, it really stands out.

Not much of a "Universal Rampage" if the Nameks are still intact with no knowledge of it.
