This is intriguing! I don't think that knowing where the events were meant to lead up really helped in the flow of the comic. Fundamentally, no one likes when the heroes loes, especially in such a tragic way. Looking forward to this!

Sorry that I haven't been active in the comments, but I have been keeping up! This is a super interesting twist!

Now I have one theory that I don't think has been brought up yet. That is, Raditz wins but decides to adopt Gohan instead of killing him. Since he originally made his way to Earth to recruit Goku he could figure that Gohan could maybe act as a replacement, they still need to beat Frieza after all. Regardless of what ends up happening, I'm looking forward to seeing how this new web-comic turns out! Goten-Kun is a fantastic author! 1 Odpowiedzi

I was expecting Goku to be like "YOU DARE CHOOSE THEM OVER ME!?!?!" before turning to a fit of rage, ascending beyond Super Saiyan 3, and attacking the protagonists.

Unable to defeat him, the heroes are forced to fend off against Goku for a whole year, until the Dragon Balls return to their normal state so that they can wish to seal him away.

A few decades later, and after the events of Namek Densetsu, Beezlebub manages to get his hands on the Dragon Balls, and undo the seal on Goku in exchange for his aid in getting revenge against the Earthlings and the Namekians.

The new comic is about the heroes returning to finally take down Goku once and for all. At the end, they defeat him by freezing him in solid ice.

It's probably just the front cover but it'd be crazy if this chapter took place on Earth. I do think that it's important for us to get some Gast lore before the next part of the fight, so I'm excited!
