This is actually really good! Not to knock on Salagir, but I would've preferred something like this, even if the outcome had remained the same. Adding a roughly newly learned technique would've aided in seperating it as a "filler" battle. And I like the dialogue that you implemented for Vegito making him out to be more of a sociopath. This could've played into the story in a very interesting way.

I think that it's the first option, because XXI likes to exploit weaknesses. Depending on how you look at it, this may or not be condidered cheating if XXI made a wish for Goku's chest to explode prior to the match, since that's kind of attacking another player.
