Best to keep in mind that ultimately, DBM is authored for fun. Things don't need to rigidly align to be consistent and lore perfect. Personally I feel like DBZ is far less consistent than DBM.

I REALLY don't want to moan, really appreciate Dbm for all the hard work free of charge, but this special feels like such a filler... The ones on Bojack at least had good action scenes. Here it's like stretching forever without much action.

Also isn't it kind of really weird and kind of racist (Speciest?) for Yamcha to generalize the entire Saiyan race based only on the 3 Saiyans that the human supremacy universe ended up meeting? (Or 4/5 if they met Broly and Paragus but somehow I doubt they did) Like, sure there are bad egg Saiyans in the tournament, but by his own admission there's good Saiyans too. In fact, in the tournament alone, there are 3 universes that include good Saiyans, (16, 18 and 12) and three that include evil Saiyans (20, 13 and 3) with the primitive Saiyans universe seemingly being more on the neutral side than anything else, at least to the perspective of the people present.
