If Uub actually gets out of Zen Buu's dimension but did not kill Juna, it would result in Juna getting out of Zen Buu's dimension to follow Uub and fight Uub again, and if they fight outside of Zen Buu's dimension then the Vargas would probably send Uub and all other U18 characters back to Universe 18.

I think that it is as if the story/plot seems to want Juna to actually survive long enough to get out of Zen Buu's dimension to see and meet characters from other universes, I think that maybe it is probably because that way U16 Bra would see Uub with Juna, thus giving Bra an excuse to get jealous, snap and transform into her ssj3 form and go on a rampage again, which would probably give the Vargas an excuse to send the U16 characters back to Universe 16. If I recall correctly DBM implied that U16 Bra had feelings for Uub, but even if she does not, Uub fighting Juna outside of Zen Buu's dimension risks getting the Vargas's attention.

I just realized XXI having I'K'L's ability makes him unbeatable now. Everyone who isn't an android/cyborg can be easily beaten by XXI regardless of power level, unless they can somehow take him by surprise before he can activate the ability. Yamcha is gone, 17 and 18 are on XXI's side, so 16 is the only one immune to time stop, but 16 is most likely not physically strong enough to stand against XXI.

Is South Kaioshin immune now that he got the same ability from I'K'L? And... maybe Uub can counter with some new Buu-level magic he learned?

On a side note, why didn't XXI hit Goku's head instead of the heart? It seems more of a surefire way to kill. At least in Gast's case, he can regenerate if he loses his heart, but not his brain. I notice that the Heloites also target the heart when they want to instant kill. Interesting choice.

Sure, but the thing is that if Gast's "your power turn off" only works on people who are "alive" then the people he gets his ass kicked by increases tremendously even with his "STOP" bullshit.
Naturally this means that Fusion Reborn Gogeta would pulverize Gast with no difficulty due to being dead. It also means hilariously that Gast might just be killed by pretty much every single one of the GT Villains (General Rilldo is a machine, so not alive. Baby is a Machine Mutant, artificial android life, so not alive, Super 17 is debatable, but being an Android I'd say he'd be immune, and naturally the Shadow Dragons are all similar to Janemba here, not being truly alive either.)

Its still technically harnessing the power of the Super Saiyan state, but it minimises the overflow of energy. This wouldnt disregard the "violent tendencies", she would still need to work on that. Cell never having reached this transformation kind of shows that, while he may have inherited some personality traits and techniques, he knows nothing about actually improving or developing himself. He purely relied on increasing his raw strength alone.


And then.. sigh... Vegetto. I maintain this makes zero sense. He, of everyone there, should feel happy and excited about this; a new form he can aim for, something to release him from his boredom. DBM (saligaar) comes from this corrupted view that Vegito is his own person, and that Goku and Vegeta of Universe 16 are not just dead... but essentially erased from existence. Obviously that gives them the uncessarcy liberty to write Vegito way off course.

I've always said... Vegito is literally JUST Son Goku and Vegeta... combined. They're not dead... they're right there... just in the (permnant) form of "Vegito" now. Despite DBM's canon, thats still how I look at Vegito. The fused form of Goku and Vegeta.

And with this scene... I think a Vegito's real reaction would have been a combination of Goku and Vegeta. Goku's happiness for their sucess and inspiration with his counterpart & Vegeta to get better, but with Vegeta's pride that they achieved a form he could did not reach 1st.

Thus probably like a grinning "Hmph" smile with arms crossed.

Finally some progress in the fight. It seems even vegeta was getting bored of the repetetive mirror attack panels and became complacent. Goku prayed upon this complacency and broke his wrist! However I still wanna know how they have enough energy to stay in this transformation!!!!

I think that using the finished-in-0.5s thing is very effective to stress the speed. Otherwise, showing the full fight and then trying to stress the speed, would not create enough of an impact for us to understand Vegeto's subsequent madness -- if that was the purpose.

To all the people in the comments who seemingly can't wrap their heads around the concept of "The whole fight happened in the blink of an eye and we'll get an explanation afterwards": I have no idea what to tell you. You clearly have been following the wrong franchise and I have no idea how you managed to enjoy any of the Dragon Ball series proper in the first place.

You seem to misunderstand. Before, fights happened within seconds (as evidenced in dragonball with krillin and roshi explaining their figth). But despite that we never, as the audience, actually saw it happen in the blink of an eye. We've always somehow followed the battle through the eyes of spectators, or the fighters themselves in a way.

This might mean that nobody present was able to follow what just happened except the two fighters themselves. I really want to see the U16 reaction to this now!

Yeah almost exactly like Mastered Super Saiyan which was quite literally all about removing the strain from the body. Which is why it makes no sense here for all this to be a thing. Some people think Mastered gives a boost to power, and other people think that it removes all the strain from the body the normal transformation causes to the body. But I guess in this fancomic it just doesn't do anything at all. I bet Goku felt silly spending those months training up to it.

This is a pretty unfair statement. Vegito and Bra didn't need to figure anything out as they both had already surpassed Gohan and are the two strongest people in their Universe by a long shot. Meanwhile, Trunks hasn't even managed to become SSJ2 yet and Kakarotto and Vegeta of U13 have only become aware of a third Super Saiyan Transformation during this tournament. Not to mention there is no Mystic Gohan for them to take note from.

Ok and what about the other universes, such as universe 20? They were the same Goku and Vegeta and also had a mystic Gohan but they still used their ssj forms and Vegeta didn't even have 3.
Stop thinking so hard, Goku and Vegeta just have mystic now and they both apparently unlocked it in the 20 minutes before the tournament started. Or "They weren't given the time to breathe".

So people are likening this to ultra instinct, But I feel this is much closer to the DBS manga's mastered SS Blue form Goku uses in the Goku Black arc. Granted, transformation is necessary in the MSSB form, but the containment of the overpouring energy is the key. Definitely not a ripoff by any means haha. I think it's a cool concept and I am excited to see what they do with it. Good stuff

About the universes / timelines:
Future Trunks has influenced many universes / timelines with his interference in the temporal events.

Since in DBM most universes have their origin in DBZ aka universe 18 and therefore split off from it, Future Trunks thus also influenced quite a few universes that only split off after Trunks appeared in U18.

Cell Arc Nonexistent -> Without Cell from the future, the conflict with the Androids is eventually resolved peacefully. Future Trunks (with missing HTC training) returns to U15 with a remote control to shut down the Androids. Babidi and Dabura do not recognize Future Trunks because they never encountered him during their attack on Earth in U11 (page 2129).

U12:
Future Timeline -> Future Trunks Original Universe. Trunks comes back after Gohan defeats Cell and kills his future versions of #17 & #18 as well as Imperfect Cell.

U14:
Future Timeline -> Android's Original Universe. Trunks dies in universe 17 and never comes back. The androids kill U14 Future Bulma after some time. However, they never killed Trunks, so they assumed U12 Trunks was theirs, hiding somewhere else (page 2145).

U15:
Future timeline -> I'K'L original universe. Trunks and the Z-Fighters solved the problem with the androids in U11 because no Future Cell was present. A weakened Trunks (compared to U12 Trunks) returns to the future with a remote control to kill the androids, but is himself killed by U15 Imperfect Cell (page 1433).

U16:
Cell Arc Normal -> The Z-Fighters remember Future Trunks from the Cell Arc.

U17:
Cell Arc - Cell wins -> Future Trunks died by Cell's IT Death Beam. Since the Z-Fighters ultimately lose to Cell, Trunks is also not revived, unlike in U18 (page 353).

Cell Arc Normal -> DBZ

U20:
Cell Arc Normal -> The third encounter with Broly takes place long after the Cell Arc. Future Trunks role in U20 is irrelevant at this point.
