Merged Zamasu is significantly more Kai than Goku Black. We did a DNA test. Turns out Black is 102% Goku with a 2% margin of error.

Merged Zamasu would still have Trunks' knowledge. Trunks is Goku's biggest fan boy since his mother talked him up. Losing Goku is considered the catalyst for the bad future in Trunks' eyes as well. So Goku means more than just "good" in the moral sense, but as a positive beacon of hope for good outcomes.

So Zamasu gaining that outlook makes logical sense.

You can argue that's even worst. I doubt they are even near SSJ Vegito. He was clashing evenly with Broly and they started sweating.

I honestly compared it to Gohan simply because Gohan is meaningless in this comic. 2 Gohan isn't even comparable to a single Bra. I'm pretty sure I've seen no mention of the Majin boost unlocking the person's full potential like in the main DB series, so I'm going to even assume that it doesn't when used in mass and Bra wasn't any stronger than normal. Her Gohan didn't think so and made no mention of her being any stronger than normal.

And if Cell being equal to Gohan in this comic is true. Then Bra is better than 3 Gohan. So now Gohan is basically a unit of measurement like Raditz and Saibamen. Toss a Buu in there and some armored normies and it's easy to say that Bra equals 5 Gohan since she wasn't even close to losing and was protecting Babidi for half the fight.

SSJ0 or whatever isn't anywhere near Bra, and Vegito is stronger than Bra. At most we can give SSJ0 2 Gohans worth of power since it impressed Vegito but he was mostly mad that he didn't think up the form first. It hurt his ego, but no it can't fight him.

The gap between SSJ3 Goku and basically everything else is so massive or mundane that it's still hard to gage.

Ultimate Gohan is traditionally stronger than SSJ3 Goku. Both U. Gohan got toyed with by Bra.

It's clear that Vegito could kill Bra with no problem since Gast steps in.

Gast vs Bra was suggested to be so even enough that not fighting would have given both a better chance of actually winning the tournament.

XII beats Zen Buu and Gast with no problem. XII and Gast both beat Vegito. The same Vegito who beats Bra who is even with Gast. Weird power scaling triangle but it's fine.

Then XII beats Goku. Who at this point might as well let Krillin fight, cause neither are a factor by this point. Goku is so much weaker than the fan characters in this series that it might as well not even be Dragon Ball. Goku has never been this outclassed. Even on Namek he could at least fight Freeza at 5%. Krillin cut off Freeza's tail, Goku can't even fight XII, Gast, Zen Buu or Bra. The whole other side of the bracket no diffed him.

So if Uub needs to be stronger to escape or win and will need a comparable power to Zen Buu's minimum effort. Then Uub will likely need to become a stupid amount stronger. Technically, Gohan defeated Vegeta in the saiyan saga. Though that was after taking a X4 Kamehameha from Goku, A Spirit Bomb from Krillin, and Sword slash from Yajirobe and being landed on by Great Ape Gohan.

So unless Nasu made friends we don't know about... he ain't in a jump situation and won be able to whittle Vegeta down. Vegeta has insane stamina and it takes a lot to get him down.

When Gohan saves Vegeta from Recoome, Vegeta gets mad at him for wasting his energy and not attacking Recoome. Vegeta is just like that. He doesn't care if the weak are destroyed, even if the weakling is him. He's more upset when time is wasted on weaklings instead of fighting.

I think that's exclusively Vegeta though. Raditz and Nappa don't really mock their opponents for having each others backs. I think it's more realistic to say that Raditz and Nappa likely worked as a team more often than not. I doubt Vegeta ever needed to team up with any one. He never does. First time is what? Zamasu was shown to train in the anime and manga. He had discipline and form, Zamasu was a martial artist. Pretty much the first martial artist villain we even had in Dragon Ball since Tienshinhan. So training was only natural. Hell, watching 2 Zamasu fight together in perfect sync is like a Goku and Krillin team up back in the day, they just play off of each other since they're from the same discipline.

It's timey whimey. Goku Black in Trunks's timeline is the Goku Black created when Beerus made Whis reverse time after he killed Gawasu. Since Beerus didn't kill Zamasu twice, once after he killed Gawasu and once before, it created a time ring and Goku Black. Technically; Goku, Beerus and whis left his universe and went to the new one with time travel. He didn't have a Goku, Beerus and Whis at that point logically.

Meaning it's a closed paradox. Goku, Whis and Beerus somehow return to his specific version of the universe created by the time ring. When Black tried to go to the original timeline and fought Goku, he was literally ejected since at that point he existed there twice since the exact same Zamasu was in U10 chilling. So time pretty much tries to correct itself.

Every timeline likely has the ToP at the same time since it was pre-planned to cull the low moral level universes. The whole Trunks saga doesn't effect the ToP since C17 just needs to win it for the good ending and that's basically a "canon event." This is fine. Zamasu's whole thing is God superiority. If he doesn't know other Gods with any level of strength or techniques then his plan seems completely self involved. This simply makes it so he has the experience that would allow him to use Goku's bodies techniques. Ginyu for example did not have that experience and couldn't do so.

Surprised they didn't get the Namekian dragon balls. Goku clearly made it to King Kai's and he is able to find Namek. It was pretty clear that King Kai considered the Saiyans to be a threat enough to train Goku. So you'd figure he'd have set them up for success by now with the location to Namek, the fact they have dragon balls and all of that. Not like King Kai trained Goku for no reason, it was so he could fight the saiyans.

The 10 year gap kind of makes everyone look like they were sitting on their hands. I still remember the reincarnated as Yamcha spinoff comic, just using DB lore the kid was able to get Yamacha's power level up over 10k by time the saiyans showed up. Meaning he was stronger than base Goku and rivals Vegeta before he powers up!

So it's weird that everyone is like 4k max after all of this time and so many options available.

2) South is justified. They were very proactive in their universe and this tournament has been mostly an example of what happens when they aren't. Honestly, the fact they didn't get any kind of retribution for being overly proactive is more of a narrative problem since it makes them justified. In Super, they make it so that level of proactivity would cause negative effects, like being wiped out by a higher power that regulates that. A needed addition to the series, Nahare would seem like a horrible Supreme Kai for letting Freeza rock if those rules weren't set. 1 Replie(s)

The Mafuba wasn't used after a certain point... because nobody knew it that was alive or fighting. Only Roshi and Tien knew the technique. Piccolo knows it as well, but it was only confirmed that he knew how to counter it, till Super. So literally by time the technique became relevant again. Also it's useless without a sealing device.

Goku Black and Zamasu literally fuse because of the technique when Zamasu points out that they need to get serious cause the Z-Fighters were getting clever.

Goku and Trunks knew the technique by that point, so it was only a matter of time till Zamasu got sealed away. We know that you can seal people in swords and Trunks is kind of that guy...

But until that point Roshi and Tien weren't really in the big fights. Roshi didn't see combat at all in Z and Tien has a single moment verse Cell. Couldn't use the Mafuba verse Cell because he wasn't prepared with a device to even seal him with. ToP was mafuba being used all over the place because it's a goated technique that works on any unprepared opponent. Frost was prepared but still almost lost to Roshi. Roshi almost beat someone equal to final form Freeza. Roshi is weaker than Chiaotzu here and Freeza is strong than Nappa!

So the idea that the mafuba wasn't used because "it wouldn't work' is debunked by it's own logic. Along with the fact that it's a technique designed to let a weaker opponent counter the pure strength of a stronger one. So it not working because, someone is stronger is illogical.

Should have just left the technique out of the manga.

In Super Roshi's Mafuba was reversed onto Vegeta. So there is no cap. It just works. Just a solid non-damaging move that drains your chi like all holy hell. Frost is equal to final form Freiza, but he caught the mafuba and reversed it. You can't use it verse aware stronger opponents, it has it's weaknesses. Still a valuable technique.

Krillin died. So it's a perfect time for Chaiotzu to go Super Saiyan! Nobody knew he could do it since he's always dead when Krillin is dead. Some kind of bald purge that has happened multiple times...

Yeah, I guess Raditz power would be useful against his universe's Buu. But that doesn't matter. Buu doesn't care much about power, he'll just turn him into candy. Only Vegito was able to get around that, and Vegito borders on a lethal joke character in terms of strength.

At the end of the day, if are getting bored they can just go Oozaru and the fight is over. So this is just a formality. Victory is assured. It was nice to see the Earthlings push them a little though.

Raditz full potential was the friends he made along the way. Cause they are the only ones his powers work on...

If it was negative it could be considered an attack outside of the arena and XXI would get ejected. So it's probably nothing. XXI isn't dumb enough to actually get himself kicked out at the finish line.

There is nothing wrong with the bean being black guys... we literally have black beans in RL. What's wrong is XXI didn't wash his hands.

Technically, Gohan doesn't need direct training. Most of his strength by time he was 11 in the OG timeline from constant fighting and zenkai boosts. A lot of them verse Freeza.

The other Saiyans likely aren't babying him, so he would constantly be in dangerous situations and getting boosts.

It is theorized that zenkai boosts are increases based on the detected threats, so Freeza would give huge boosts compared to most anything else. It's the theory people use to make sense of why Goku got so strong and was able to fight 1% FF Freeza when Vegeta was the one who hurt him and was only equal to Freeza's first form. Goku was getting slowly healed over time, Gohan and Vegeta got instant heals and boosts. Gohan verse 2nd form and 3rd form and Vegeta during the fight with 3rd.

With that theory in mind and the fact that Raditz pointed out that Vegeta was a threat to Gohan, if he did get boosts. It would likely make him start catching up to Vegeta. Gohan could be equal or stronger than Vegeta and Vegeta not even know.

Goku doesn't need to win with power. He could always politely ask XXI to give up. Then XXI will understand Goku's very innocent plead and just give up. The end.
