Technically, Gohan doesn't need direct training. Most of his strength by time he was 11 in the OG timeline from constant fighting and zenkai boosts. A lot of them verse Freeza.

The other Saiyans likely aren't babying him, so he would constantly be in dangerous situations and getting boosts.

It is theorized that zenkai boosts are increases based on the detected threats, so Freeza would give huge boosts compared to most anything else. It's the theory people use to make sense of why Goku got so strong and was able to fight 1% FF Freeza when Vegeta was the one who hurt him and was only equal to Freeza's first form. Goku was getting slowly healed over time, Gohan and Vegeta got instant heals and boosts. Gohan verse 2nd form and 3rd form and Vegeta during the fight with 3rd.

With that theory in mind and the fact that Raditz pointed out that Vegeta was a threat to Gohan, if he did get boosts. It would likely make him start catching up to Vegeta. Gohan could be equal or stronger than Vegeta and Vegeta not even know.

Goku doesn't need to win with power. He could always politely ask XXI to give up. Then XXI will understand Goku's very innocent plead and just give up. The end.

Vegeta flat out states that Oozaru is 10 times stronger. Super Saiyan on the other hand is whatever you want it to be. It's never stated in the manga or anime.

Toriyama said it made Goku 10 times stronger. Since max Goku at the time was Kiaoken x20 and Super Kamehameha, which is x2 as shown by Raditz scouter. That's x40. x10 stronger than that is x50.

But when Goku and Gohan come out of the time chamber they are still technically "just" super saiyan since no distinction is given later on. Clearly they are way stronger. But Goten's super saiyan is treated the same as Gohan's for example. The grades only come up twice all the way in Super and both times the person using them are told to just use Super Saiyan 2 in a way. So "mastered" super saiyan never came back after the Cell saga.

Basically Super Saiyan makes you stronger. Not stronger than teenagers who never trained a day in their lives and got bio-cybernetic enhancements though. But stronger for sure.

Freeza =/= Androids

Freeza has a mutant high power level.

Androids have insane energy management, either infinite or can absorb it.

Androids run on a different power system. They can have a power level of 2 and it wouldn't matter. They mechanically work different. 17 and 18 for example are just kidnapped kids, they literally have a base power level of ~2 but are upgraded and can fight alien martial artists evenly.

Imagine if someone competent became an android, like Gohan...

Why wouldn't Androids be hurt by nukes? They aren't aliens or biomutants or something. Just flesh, blood and machinery depending on the type. Some are just pure machinery. They are designed by Toriyama based on the Androids from the Terminator films. Meaning the same rules would apply, maybe to a higher degree. A pipe bomb in the joints can blow them apart but not destroy them completely.

So a nuke would disable them. Maybe leave them in quite a few pieces. Some may continue to function.

The first Android we saw destroyed, was done so with a "Big Bang" attack for a reason. It goes BOOM.

Also I don't know why people are talking about Freeza, he's not even in this story! But no a nuke wouldn't kill Freeza. He was still alive even when Trunks chopped him into pieces, Trunk had to finish him off with a blast to kill him. Now I'm trying to figure out how he doesn't 1 tap Vegetto. Vegetto isn't stronger than a collapsing universe of even half the crap that was thrown at Broly.

The only thing Vegetto has is a high power level, he doesn't have any tricks or anything.

Yajirobe's sword is too weak to reflect his power. If he had a stronger sword he'd have cut the whole world in two with how much force he put into that blow. Technically, the Android just saved the world with his head!

People talking about the time chamber like that makes you stronger. Getting extra 2 years to master Super Saiyan is a lot different than getting 2 extra years to remember that "you're just human."

Looks like Gohan is treated better than Goten-kun's last story with a similar premise. Gohan was thrown in a cell and force to fight Saibamen endlessly. But I guess that was because Kakarrot was alive and being a bad dad lol. Raditz is simply a good uncle/father figure.

Buu can't destroy the Earth with literally any attack. No one can. When they destroy planets they hit the core and start a chain reaction that leads to the planets destruction. Kid Buu targeted the core same as Freeza did on Namek and Earth.

When Vegeta tried and it got reversed on him, he didn't die. Just got pushed into the sky. It's cause the beam was meant to dig not explode. It's the burrowing through the ground to reach the core that does the damage. They weren't detonation ki bombs in the planets.

Freeza in RoF sends ki into the planet and detonates it like he did to Krillin, which is why the planet instantly explodes. He blew up the core easily since he was strong enough by that point to transport his ki that far with little effort. Plus he was touching the ground.

So it's very specific abilities that allow you to destroy a planet. And the planet has to be core based for them to work. Destroying a moon is just blowing up space rock, they aren't "core breaking" they're just shattering rocks.

Doubt they can even effect a gas giant. Ki doesn't burn air and isn't visibly effected by atmosphere. We've seen ki leave the Earth's atmosphere multiple times with zero resistance. We've seen ki effect clouds making it rain, make storms, tornados, et cetera. So it effects liquids and solids. Kiai attacks are completely invisible, so yeah, air and gas isn't effected by ki. It travels though it without disturbance.

That also means that Ki can travel to the moon easily since it isn't effect by the laws of physics in that case since only liquids and solids would act on it. Ki would continue to move forever unit it hits a physical something. So like with TFS's DBZA, Vegeta's Final Flash eventually would have hit a planet, moon or asteroid. It hits the core, boom. If they get sent home, Vegeta is cooked. SSJ3 will run his stamina out, and even if it doesn't... Kakaditz can always go great ape to mud stomp him. Ultimate Great Ape Kakaditz, make it happen!

Kakaditz should be minimum the same power level with none of the draw backs of Vegito having to use SSJ3 for max power vs Kakaditz always being max power with no stamina drain. He no difs him.

Ultimate Gohan's only draw back was that it was only on Gohan. Anyone else with the power up runs through the cast if it puts them at SSJ3 tier like it did Gohan. Gohan who never trains and always holds back. Kakaditz don't got that problem, clearly.

Don't forget Ultimate maximizes both Raditz and Kakarot's potential now. Only reason Kakarot couldn't reach his potential like Goku did is cause he's a complete idiot. Now he's only half idiot. Which is basically just normal Goku.

That's two SSJ3 tier fighters since Raditz and Kakarot both have equal potential (They both Bardocks kids) with different things normally holding them back. Compared to Vegito who can go SSJ3 but only has shown to pull it out for single attacks do to the insane stamina drain.

I guess this confirms it, While Raditz "could" beat Mr. Emperor Vegeta, he just lacks the confidence to do so. Kakarotto is oblivious to his own limitations, so that's a power boost in and of itself.

Gohan has the same problem. Could easily beat Cell with only one arm but was a constipation of emotion and needed to be coached by Goku.

Would Raditz and Kakarot fused even be in XXI's ball park? They don't have magic or anything. I feel like it would be better for Raditz to fuse with someone like Uub that could counter some of the magical BS.

Plus they'd be half immortal and end up corrupted like Zamasu, since they'd only heal half the damage they take.

Raditz should be extremely strong just do to his age.

Gohan was only 17 when he had his potential unleashed. But 10 years later attained Beast since obviously you get more potential as you grow. Even for normal humans we hit our peaks closer to 25+. Just going by human biology Gohan only got 2/3s of his potential. Saiyans stay young longer so they likely reach their peaks later in life.

That being said, just being strong doesn't do much. Unless Raditz plans on throwing the whole "weekend" at Mr. 12, he ain't the guy for the job. But he can at least beat up Vegeta which makes all the sitting he had to do likely worth it. He's like the 10th guy to have gotten a new form just to beat up a Vegeta, it's like climbing mount Everest, it's on a lot of bucket lists.

People seem to forget just how weak Future Gohan is. Even with super saiyan he'd be weaker than our present timeline Gohan.

Normal timeline Gohan was strong enough to kick Android 20 off of Piccolo after he just got done absorbing enough of Piccolo's energy for Piccolo to need a senzu bean to keep fighting. And that was after training for 3 years with Goku and Piccolo on Earth with no gravity or time chamber or nothing. the conditions don't matter, the training and who is doing it does.

Heart virus Goku wasn't even strong enough to get 19 off of him while super saiyan. So your base has a massive effect on super saiyan, basically making super saiyan worthless if you are too weak, it just wastes energy.

So without all of the advantages that present Gohan had, Future Gohan has 0 chance of getting anywhere. Better off flying into space like Vegeta did and crying.

The room of time and spirit also doesn't matter. Vegeta for example didn't get much stronger in there, he just unlocked super saiyan grades. 18 and Cell didn't notice much of a difference in him until he transformed. And Goku and Gohan found even greater super saiyan forms while in there. Gohan is smart, but he doesn't have any battle sense, he isn't getting anywhere with that.

Present Gohan could have beaten the Androids since 3 years of training would have given him enough battle sense to use when he unlocked super saiyan that he could gain grades. Goku was already a super saiyan when he was training Gohan. Gohan is book smart enough to pick up some things while watching SS Goku and Piccolo train. Future Gohan had none of those advantages.

So he's peaked.

I don't know why Vegito is upset, not like this isn't anything that he can't do. He's just so strong and completely unchallenged to the point that he honestly has 0 reason to get stronger. I completely agree with Bra, she does have the same powers as Vegito and likely can't beat a magician. Gast is the current best bet at getting the wish.

But giving up completely goes against the spirit of dragon ball. Giving another person a shot at the fight is fine (Goku letting Gohan fight Cell), but giving up before trying yourself just doesn't fit the franchise. Seeing "martial artists" overcoming magicians like Babidi, Majin Buu and Moro is kind of the whole reason the series is interesting.

It's not like Goku gave up when he saw that his opponents could paralyze him when faced with Chouzu and Tienshinhan. Yeah, he had no counter but he still fought the match. And lost!

Also, it's 3 wishes. What does Bra as a character want? They seem too focused on redeeming her and forgetting to build up her character. In the ToP Goku would have wished for another tournament, Vegeta would have wished to save Universe 6, etc. We knew what the characters wanted. Cause they were developed up to that point to have solid motivation. Vegeta didn't want to save Universe 6 just because he made a promise, it was his pride as "Prince" Vegeta to want to save his people in anyway he can.

So why does Bra want this wish for them so badly? She just met them and hasn't really grown as a character, technically she is acting out of character since her character was established and she is subverting herself without enough time to have a proper reflection. Majin Bra is being portrayed as out of character, but not a single character suggested that she wasn't acting liking like herself enough to suggest she was being mind controlled in anyway. They held her at the same degree of self control as Majin Vegeta, who went on record as to point out that he can't be controlled and the Majin effects only bring out his more aggressive tendances.

Basically, if Bra as a character had a wish and was sacrificing it at this point. She'd be growing as a character in some possible way. But this is currently a flat outcome. She gets to bow out of 2 fights that she likely can't win and everyone is praising her for it like this end of Evangelion.

I see a lot of people saying that he could have just wished them dead. And they are right. Shenron can't outright kill people stronger than himself. But he can move and transport people and their spirits. Kami can simply ask Shenron to move the Saiyans into the sun. Done and dusted.

People are ignoring that the GKS and the Kais are basically rough shot ruling their universe. They aren't sitting back like in the other universes. They are active and aggressive, there are no threats because they ended them before they even arose.

Zen Buu changed him because he isn't all evil. Zen Buu is basically a full mortal in moral structure. Able to make mistakes and question them like Vegeta or Goku. While the cost for creating Zen Buu is high, it's only high in the scheme of a few years for the Kais. So by destroying Buu they stopped the possibility of Zen Buu and many other scenarios. Zen Buu is the combination of life from many different planets, but over time that life will be replaced, that's nature.

He's simply realized this.

They killed Broly as a baby but he could have grew up to be like Super Broly instead of the idiot DBZ Broly. They removed that option and now GKS is realizing the error of such heavy handed control.

The Kais are dictators, so this isn't exactly a bad change over all.

Even then Freeza's fate is only referenced after DBM started with DBZ:RF so he can be altered too.

Since we can just watch that Super Dragon Ball Heroes promotional anime for most of these kinds of fights now. So this series needs something original I guess.

We aren't in a Dragon Ball content drought like when this series first began, there is more Dragon Ball content than ever and the bar is way higher. Toyable went from making a cheesy Dragon Ball AF series that Multiverse was praised as "not being" to now Toyable just finished the best story arc in DB Super currently.

I've been following this series since it started but could honestly not explain were it is going. The last actual tournament fight was years ago and at this point it feels like it will be 10 more years till we see a conclusion while Dragon Ball as a series is just passing these older characters by.

You can't really compare Bra to Vegeta. Vegeta was completely in control and had a clear cut plan. He also knew that any damage he did could be reversed with the dragon balls.

U18 Bra pointed out that Bra was basically just being a brat. That's completely different.

If we do compare them, then she should die then.

Vegeta blew himself up after point blank asking Piccolo if he would be given the same treatment as Goku, and getting the point blank answer that his selfishness will only lead to punishment in the afterlife.

So there is no reason for Bra not to die if we are to compare the two since Vegeta came back a better person and was revived by the dragon balls when only good hearted people could be.

There really is no logic behind letting her live since it's clear that this is just part of an escalating problem that will likely spring up again. And by then Vegito might not be strong enough to actually stop her. Then who is going to stop her? Gotenks? U16 Bra? Nope.

Bra is the "Freeza/Joker effect", letting them live only causes problems. But it keeps a consistent conflict in the story that can be used to generate tension later on. Vegito isn't wrong. Vegeta wasn't controlled by that for even a second and wasn't nearly as strong as Bra. You basically have to let him take you to be controlled, since Cell wasn't controlled either and is at that strength tier.

Weaker fighters get a pass but there is a pretty clear cut limit to Babidi's actual control.
