Buu is a hoot, I think Salagir really hit hard when writing him up, He has been pretty interesting, and watching how he treats the fights are amusing. But I am very curious how this ends, maybe he just ups and decides he is not going to do what he said, and was just doing that to get a true gauge on everyone there? Because while he is doing this, he is also training Uub. Not that he does not say he will power everyone up if they want it, but he is an odd guy, hard to tell what he is thinking. There are a few hidden tricks too, i wonder when a certain someone will appear and cause some trouble for buu, you know Ra.... well, that is just a guess so i will not say the name.

How amusing of a trick! Pretty smart of the little bird to come up with that. Too bad it did not work. Magic has always been a strange thing in Dragon Ball, but it makes sense none the less, because otherwise everyone could be like Baba or the such. I also really like the expression of Buss when he is asking what she is going to do, lol that look cracks me up.

The Art is just splendid in this special chapter, I really like the perspective of a lot of these panels. If I may ask the artist, How did you study and learn perspective, because it is really good.

I really dig the style of the artist for this. That Middle panel really captures that oomph for the attack. But also the characters really just tend to pop, that is something pretty nifty with the perspective.

She's not saying "Kakarotto", but one of the bad translation of it by the dub. In the first french dub, the whole "your true name is Kakkarotto and I, Vegeta, will not call you otherwise until the very end of the series" was not included at all (I don't know why, don't ask me, maybe they thought the children watching would be confused), and Vegeta just calls him Goku like everybody else. So when the first Broly movie was released, and Broly repeats Goku's Saiyen name, they had to come up with a saiyen name on the spot. And the one they settled with felt very forced, and lost all the vegetable puns, so it was mocked on the internet for years. I assume a similar story happened with the German dub. When translated in english, I feel like Lenuage made a great job keeping the "bad dub joke" part along with keeping the link with the first two panels discussing Broly's power level. In spanish, it's the bad translation for the Kamehameha, in italian it's "it's over 8000, incredible!", and other languages just have the english "over 9000" joke.

In France, Goku's original name is Carot. However, the french sub made an infamous traduction and sometimes called him "cachalot", which means whale in english. This is referenced in the french version of this page.

See, that is something I would not have known without that, and I love it. It is also why I like to check pages in other languages too, though I mostly read only the English and German version, checking out the French stuff (even without knowing the language) can lead to some funny stuff. Glad I made a comment on that. And it is something I will always enjoy about a lot of the DBM related stuff, is how much work the people and fans put into it. Thanks for that info.
And GreatWyrmGold, that sounds like something that would happen to Goku French or not. I guess in universe 771 1/2, all the Characters speak French, and that is what went down. lol
