In the year 716, Thales was born to an unknown father, with slightly above-average power.

He joined the Saiyan elite warrior program. Although relatively powerful, he distinguished himself above all for his strategic talents.

King Cold, who ruled the Saiyans long before his son, noticed the young Saiyan and appointed him imperial general.

Thales was the only Saiyan to serve the Cold clan at such a high rank. He never took the time to return to his home planet.

With his fellow Saiyans under the yoke of Frieza, few of them knew of this singular Saiyan, so close to Cold.

A few years later, when Frieza decided to destroy Planet Vegeta and eliminate the Saiyans, Cold chose to eliminate his general despite his effectiveness, in order to follow his son's plan.

He was left for dead with his men on a dying planet.
