Is this the first we've seen of Bra since the Majin Bra post-event wrap up with Pan needing more time before having anything to do with Bra? The one that was rewritten due to Bra's critical reaction from all the readers?

While I've been loosely following since all that I don't recall her being, like, attentive to the tournament at all and secluding herself to her room since, essentially writing her out of the cast of reactionary faces? If she's been around I haven't actually noticed, so I kinda agree in ditto, even if there's the whole event of Buu here causing a scene, I can't imagine she's on talking terms with Vegito. I can't imagine she's preferring to talk to anyone for days for that matter without being forced to, really.

Also last panel feels like Buu having fun trolling on his bluff being called, so it would be quite hilarious if he just pushed the universe recall button on Bra to prove her point right. 1 Replie(s)

Ok, that statue of a creature on the right, I KNOW I've seen that before. I don't know where, if it was a Neopet or one of South Park's Chinpokomon parodies, or one of a million indie games like Dust: An Elysian Tail. But I know I've seen that exact monster at some point.

At first I was going to say "so you ARE a fan" since you said "I would be lying if I said I was not a fan" but the rest of your comment seems to contradict that so I'm just left confused as to what you meant. Unless you meant to say "I would be lying if I said I was a fan", then that would fit the rest of your comment... Sorry just thinking out loud ngl

Wonder what this'll be about!

My bad, went back and reworded my initial write-up, only to leave in an extra "not" I overlooked. I meant I would be lying if I said I was a fan.

Anyways, this is fine. Zangya's face reminds me of....someone, though. I'm not quite sure who though. My mind says Battle Angel: Alita but no, it's not quite that. 1 Replie(s)

Gohan's left hand on panel four looks.....wrong. I'm not 100% sure how to call it. It's not quite bloodied, it's not suddenly burnt or something, it's just drawn differently with thicker lines. Like it's suddenly fake looking, like a prosthetic hand. Or just having too many wrinkles per knuckle. The veins on the back of the hand don't help either. Like it came out of Akira mid-mutation.

Eh. Not SUPER thrilled at the takeaway is "If you don't feel the same way as I do about the situation, you're just not mature enough" reasoning through Gohan/Videl if Pan's serving as a reader avatar changed in according to the previous arc's reader reaction. But whatever at this point.

Speaking of avatars, that's a weird thing for Gohan to spout. I suppose it makes some sense in his mindset. From his point of view, his experience with Cell is the DBZ canon Cell Games, where it would be hard to express the Cell Jrs. as any expanded upon type of character. They died much too early for anything like that to have transpired, and Gohan was likewise in a remorseless rage with Cell and them at their actions. DBM offers some Cell Jrs. that have had time to grow into their own characters, if nothing deep or special, and the new births have already started with more going for them than the canon ones from years ago. Gohan's technically wrong on his claim but understandable his lack of caring to discern the difference.

This feels like it will come back to bite him and tie in with the Bardock vision of Goku befriending one of them.

because Bra was shown NOT being tied half naked to a whipping post

Nah, see, we were already half-way there. Clearly if U18 Bra didn't step in that was the direction the Majin arc was going in, obviously.

Stupid joke aside, that overall take makes sense, just dunno if I agree with it on a personal level. We had this whole discussion during the arc prior how a good number of readers align with the belief that Dragon Ball's brand of mind control trope doesn't absolve for diddly-squat and more correlates with with a sort of magical inebriation and ignorance of personal morals with a side note of being compelled to help Babadi. I personally still find that if these characters that were Majinized did any particular act, they had already contemplated it before. In the good guy's side, obviously social and moral standings told them "No", in the Ultra dude's case romantic fantasies as well I guess. Unless we're interpreting "I loved you" to "I love all you guys". The bad guys already typically didn't care, there's not much debate to be had if Frieza would or would not kill audience members willingly.

I find it more interesting to dissect how clearly apparently Bra has considered prior killing Gohan as a positive in her eyes and how that reflects her character than the more blanket excuse that ANY one can be Majinized down to some real petty sins, and it takes miracle cases and childish innocence to avoid.

But we'll just have to see how the story unfolds, I suppose.

Eh....ok, it's a similar issue here to during the end of the Majin Bra arc before, but this is only one page, wait it out until we see some panels to continue this conversation. But Bra's first action and reaction to a major player in the story after all that the comic's been stuck on is essentially "Woe is me!" and "lawl don't sweat it dawg".

YES, yes, we all know, we all get it, it is in Gohan's nature to be forgiving, this is correct. But I'm hoping there's follow-up back and forth after this page where Gohan argues his point, in turn arguing Salagir's and the comic's point they want to get at with their interpretation of the whole Majin mind control technicalities and absolving her of her sins. If we just jump to the next handful of schmoes and their comical reactions to "Whoops, had a little accidental murder spree", then this bit between Bra and Gohan means nothing beyond Gohan being TOO forgiving to the point of ignorance. Or more annoying, Gohan handwaving knowledge on the prior major event that the reader should be supplied with and a curt "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain". And come on, we all know that's not him.

Not to be poetic, but to quote Majin Vegeta, is it slavery when they get what they want? Literally every bad guy in here that went under Babadi's spell wanted to cause havoc amongst the other universes to some degree and get those Dragon Balls. Issues will obviously arise once they got to that point, but that's a lack of foresight on Babadi's part.

I fail to see the tournament participants as victims as far as the plan had carried out nor likely themselves had they won. Of course, now that they didn't, they'll be bitter and sour over the whole ordeal. Now, the crowd in the background, unless there's some lore tidbit nudged somewhere in this comic and its side novelizations about the rules of entry for coliseum seats has them sign some waver relinquishing their right to safety, they I can see having worthwhile grievances that the comic could bring up. Though I fail to see for what beneficial purpose other than to write them out of the plot going forward, which....is a possibility. But even coming to an event like this screams the viewers deserve to take some responsibility for themselves, I'd imagine the Kais would argue. If they even argue, they're GODS of their universe, they command, the people worship.

But Frieza? Kakarotto? Freaking King Piccolo supposedly being the god of his Earth? Nah, mate. 1 Replie(s)

...Yyyyeah? Duh? ESPECIALLY from this tournament's holders being the literal Word of God around tournament grounds being challenged, they're paranoid enough.

Frankly I'm a little miffed they did not comment on Buu reviving the perpetrators as well as the victims. They certainly know it takes ever-so little for the majority of known characters (Hard to pass judgement on OCs in the crowd whose existence is entirely a panel or two) to do this without the Babadi influence if they had the power to do so and did not fear death.

I was expecting them to have something to say on the matter, and Buu's counter would have been to be true neutral he put everyone back exactly where they were before. Besides, you know, shining star Bra and her supposed character development. But we didn't get to that point yet hanging on U11's crew's resolution and I don't suspect we will in this current direction. 2 Replie(s)

I was pretty much done returning and commenting saying my piece during the Bra....whatever that was pages prior. Just wanted to come back and point out that I assumed at the time Goku and Vegeta would be oggling the OCs incredible powers that they would have no chance of defeating, but hoping they at least wouldn't with everything going on in the story dead-set focused on Vegito and Bra. And here we are now.

Oh well.

Personally, if this is still intentionally ignoring Dragon Ball Super's developments and whatnot, our Goku here should still be at a pre-Battle of Gods mindset and frankly be closer to Vegito's reaction here because he hasn't had that Beerus loss to his pride. He still was debatably the strongest depending where you fell on the Ultimate/Mystic Gohan scale.

Probably the first I'm replying in the English forum in the 9 years I've been reading DBM.

Ashanark, no one cares about your theatrics.
This is an average free comic. The story may not be at the same level as a Frank Miller one, but it's an interesting story nonetheless.
I've read your replies from previous pages, and all you have shown me is that you didn't understand what was happening.
You didn't understand DBM's story and you were complaining, and now you want us to take your theatrics as an act of "last stand".
If you've been reading DBM for the last 10 years, then I think you should be more grateful.
This is probably the longest-running story most of us have read, I think that's something to recognize.

Well, factually, that's incorrect. People have responded, showing they've cared on some degree.

I'll venture I'm in a vaguely similar boat as you. Until recently have not commented for YEARS, didn't even recall how to get back on my previous name. I've seen him around a few times, but didn't interact with the comments much so didn't put much thought beyond just another face like the Frieza fangirl who was getting fed up with DBM's Frieza disrespect or the one guy who did funny comic edits, like, around a decade ago. Y.O.U.R. I think his name was? Anyways, point is I'm not deeply commited in the discussions going on down here other than scrolling through for others reactions.

I think Ashanark has been plenty respectful and genuinely grateful for the comic and its people. I'd also say he clearly saw where the comic was going. Most of us did. The issue is it's not a good direction. It's not some offense to point out to the driver they're heading for a cliff in order to gaze at the pretty distractions along the way. We all saw the cliff. We're displeased with the metaphorical freefall we're now in and the characters that got reduced to speedbumps along the way.

....I don't know where I'm going with the analogy. Point being, from my limited experience with the guy, dude's been as great as someone in his position should be on the job and not only respectful but demanding others follow suit, and shouldn't be shamed over finally having enough of it. Moderating is a pretty thankless job and good mods who care about whatever the subject is they're caretaking for are hard to come by.

And for what it's worth, I've been following other webcomics like Order of the Stick for a good deal longer than this has existed and they don't get the same level of backlash over their drama. (Gunnerkrigg Court had something similar that was more visceral but considerably shorter lasting) Though to be fair, they are usually fully original properties. I will venture a guess that a subconscious part that annoys people is that this comic is propped up as the PROPER sequel to Dragon Ball. You know, one of the biggest IPs out there.

Doesn't Tien have a life-long lasting scar specifically BECAUSE of his betrayal of his mentor and idol and in order to do good and join the good guys, screwing up in his defiance and getting gouged?

I came back to posting here specifically because of the ending of this arc ticking me off in just the right/wrong ways, wanted to voice SOMETHING on the matter. And now the actual ending is...bizarre. What's wrong with it isn't even shared with the issues people were having with the other pages, this is just, like, if the show skipped ahead 3 episodes, Vegito lacked a response to Bra's declaration of leaving. Vegeta missed voicing his opinion on the matter of his life choices, despite walking up to the scene implying TO say something. Bra herself's just poofed out of this scene, what, did she just keep on walking straight out of that crater last page ignoring everyone else? Gast's haughtiness isn't remarked on by ANYONE, never mind Vegito very much being in-line to say something on this whole ordeal Gast put him through. Or at the very least peanut galley Goku and Vegeta who've been speaking about the other OC's impressiveness as their main purpose this comic.

Just the sudden jump in conversation from Bra's moment of triumph, earned or deserved or not, whatever, to Vegito and others outright ignoring her and her calling out U18's Bra and talking about the inevitable next outburst feels like we've skipped a few pages. And I want this to be done and over as much as anyone else, but that doesn't not make it a weird omission.

I don't know how to describe it other than as the entire rest of the cast is just in agreement with the chat to get on with it already and just move on, we/they do not care about Bra whatsoever. And Veigto's just now joining the gang. Which....hell, I guess that's one way to go with it, getting full meta.

That point does bug me. Why didn't he kill her then? Because of his adopted traits from Goku. She got the second chance he realized everyone deserved as he grew up. Duh. That second chance is now ruined. And being her caring parent on top of that, plus the apparent uniqueness of her physiology being an asset of good, of course he WANTS her to be better than she is, there's both an emotional and logical bias that he'll have towards her. She let him down though, so he's just keeping his promise as Goku would.

The problem is Bra now wants a THIRD chance, because REALLY, she'll get it this time. Which clearly the story wants us the believe it this time, but wholeheartedly Vegito's not in the wrong in his belief here. 1 Replie(s)

Dude, you wanna talk other topics, go ahead. Conversation takes two but someone's gotta initiate. And it's not literally all dead focused on the story's use of Bra and Vegito, just....read the room, it's clearly going to be the hot topic for some time because it's what the comic's been building up to. Not a whole lot to do about that. I threw some topics to talk about, to whoever's interested. How about how Gotenks is clearly being a hypocrite here? That's not necessarily a "bad" thing here, because that would be in character for the guy, no matter what his age he would be the one who thinks he's saying something smart when really it's dumb. And I don't mean "dumb" as an insult to the writing, I mean Goten and Trunks later are going to have some fridge logic later that night realizing what they said was bogus, just the right thing to say at the moment. Stopped watch being right twice a day and all that.

Or if you want to skirt the main topic, how about why Majinization is so different in so many people's eyes? I gave my take on it and why if it was not that how it would not work in Dragon Ball canon, thus how it should work here in DBM.

And I'll take a fair swing at your topics because it would be condescending if I didn't. I personally don't think whatever Gast is doing currently has to do with his species at all, because of how Namekians are split between specifically their magic is for various forms of healing, defense and general prosperity, and their warrior class is their offensive half that has nothing to do with magic. It would also be quite unnecessary for Namek to even have need to create such a skill from what we know of their history prior to Frieza. I'd vouch whatever this is has to do with teachings passed to him outside his race, and has more to do with his journey into the cosmos for answers. Now, WHY it works on something as broken to the Dragon Ball universe as Vegito, well, that's Salagir bending the rules a bit to fit his comic. As much as people have made fun of it....in Dragon Ball, power literally is everything, because "power" is in relation to ki, and their ki is, like, all their stats minus intellect rolled into one. Not completely unbelivable, but BOY are you skipping along the edge.

Also less fun, I think fusing two of the same guy's just going to get you the same guy with additional memories and your usual DBZ fusion stat boost. Unless you go for someone with drastic enough changes in their life, like differing canons Super Goku to GT Goku, you're not getting a lot out that deal.

But yeah, when the comic is going full erupting volcano, pointing out the comment section is hot is kinda silly. They want this kind of reaction from the readers. 1 Replie(s)

Bloodgaze was saying:
I am just uneasy with wanting someone punished when in this case we cannot prove or disprove that she had evil intentions prior to her getting majinized.

Not that I want to get too involved with this part of the community debate, but conveniently for the Dragon Ball fantasy universe, we do have just that. The whole point of how Majinization works is basically a litmus test if Character X is morally "evil enough" to willingly perform horrific acts of inhumanity, just don't because of whatever personal limitation is holding them back. Willing, just not able. It's there to free a character of their withstanding moral obligations and do what they truly desire beneath it all. Order now and get a free power boost for no additional charge too, Babadi's special limited-time offer.

If this wasn't how it worked and it was more nuanced like this story wants it to be and less Devilmite Beam, then we would have had an incredibly different story in the Buu Arc of DBZ canon with only, like, 3 people pure of heart and Babadi would have Majinized the entire planet if not universe in his conquest like some hairy toad Toriyama version of Sailor Galaxia. But that's not what happened. It only worked on people who were complete and utter scum examples of humanity at the time. It only takes over people who are unquestionably "evil" in a story that specifically asks for it to be taken in black and white terms.

Ultimately, I think this is what gets under a lot of people's skin about Bra. The specifics of magic in a story can never be infallibly locked down, even when you write a whole D&D stat page on them and have story intent and evidence, and you can't fully argue against it being used in other interpretations because "It's magic". But following what we know from actual DBZ, Bra being susceptible to this at all just solidifies the brashness before with the intent of rubbing you the wrong way into evidence that she has such an evil side beneath her at her core. Practically says as much here on this page. So....we expect the same outcome as previous Majinization cases. It's ludicriously hard to believe she would change like Vegeta in a believable manner. Not specifically that she WON'T in the comic's future. Just impossible to believe. 1 Replie(s)

Hey, so, something not plot related but questioning this page. What's going on with U18 Bra's legs fourth panel and her shoulder fifth panel? She's ghosting out of there. There isn't aura present around anyone to cause visual distortion, I was going to write it off fourth panel as just a visual effect coming off whatever Gast's doing to Vegito, but then her shoulder's just half erased on the fifth.

I get the bold foreground U16 Bra to draw your eyes to her first, but whatever's going on with background Bra caught my eye and is now super distracting.

Thinking on the lighting on U16 coming from behind her....is she literally shining a light at U18's face from her finger? Is that's what's going on here? She's "highlighting" U18 Bra's importance?

It just came to me what this 180° reminds me of. The ending of Batman v Superman. The whole nonsense of the name Martha whiplashed Batman's world view so hard he could have converted to three new religions and back in the span of those 30-so seconds. It didn't work there splendidly either. Though the defense for and critics against it aren't that far apart from our mess here.

Putting aside my displeasure in the direction you're going to start with, you really needed more time at THIS crucial moment. As hell as it would be for us naysayers, I suppose. Because I find I can't buy Bra thinking this. I can buy the rubbernecks chiming in with their perceptions, not her cracking under a repeat offense that was enhanced specifically for her pleasure.

Unless we really ARE bringing the drug analogy into text and not pretext? Please don't.

Actually, it also just occurred to me the irony of the "Dragon Balls negate consequences" counter. Amusingly, DBM's whole spark of inspiration was the dislike of GT's continuation of Z. Presenting consequences to Dragon Ball overuse. Something DBM I guess doesn't want, then, as this whole debacle is implying?

Yeah.....see, this relates to what I mentioned on a previous page. You want to be better....than the canon nobody who, in all likeliness, wouldn't be helping in a similar case if it were to happen in canon. This is equivalent to a roundabout way to writing an Ode to Pui Pui.

It's funny. For how long this U16 arc has absolutely dragged on, this heel turn from U16 Bra herself just a few pages ago, something many have gone on to point out covers mere seconds if not a minute tops, does not present nearly enough time for her to come to this clear resolution. Optimally, 2/3rds of that Majin Bra fight should have been time spent having this ending be more believable between the characters even coming to this conclusion.

But....they're not really being characters anymore, are they? They're figureheads, and the writer had their conclusion in mind a long time ago.

I TRUELY do not mean this in a hurtful, spiteful or whatever negative way to you specifically WizRad, but reciting that abhorrent Joker line suddenly clicks a lot of pieces into place on the opposing viewpoint. And I used to like The Killing Joke so many years ago, too. I've since joined Moore in his own displeasure in its existence and derailing of comics in general, and have learned to hate those Killing Joke and Dark Knight quotes.

This ironically paints a much more black and white outlook on the characters masquerading as grey flaws to hide behind. They are what they ultimately were born to be, they're just fighting a losing battle against fate, is it? Just, the heroes are in the black and the villains are in the white for our focus on this universe's main duo, each trying to be the other. Oh, joy. Thing is...it's not very Dragon Ball.

I love this page. This is directly speaking to the comments section. It'll fall on deaf ears for half of the comments section, but it's pretty much the author's intent spelled out as clear as day. The voice of the two Bras are the voices of the people who have been defending Bra, while the voice of Gast is that of the people condemning Vegito. Meanwhile, the voice of Vegito is that of the people who have been brutally hateful towards Salagir and Bra. This is the single most meta page in the comic. I love it.

Well, not yet, anyways. I'm sure there's a backhanded compliment comparing story quality over time and art improvements and yadda yadda somewhere in here.

Like yeah, I'm not on Bra's side if you absolutely need to draw a line in the sand, but I wouldn't particularly be pleased with the actions directly mirrored either with, like, Vegeta breaking character being a mouthpiece on first-hand knowledge to not risk keeping a loose cannon like her around. 1 Replie(s)

I have seen my fair share of comment sections, all falling under the general behavioral criteria that more polarized opinions are more likely to surface. While the more brobdingnagian social media websites (e.g., Youtube, Facebook) get arguably much, much worse than this little outlet, there are also websites posting scans of Marvel comics, with people replying on Disqus look a symposium of mild-mannered PHDs. Hence, it is more likely that this not a problem of "the internet", but of a prevailing culture/ subculture.

If you do enjoy this process of "critiquing", I can only say more power to you. You should, however, be mindful that you're still using an open space which -- ideally -- is for advancing interesting or stimulating discussions, pointing out what's good, and for people to have a good time. Fence wars should, reasonably, be the exception and not the daily occurrence. If you only post to rant or out of the fact the comic is eliciting negative reactions in you, I would again re-evaluate my position.

Eh. People are understandably tired and frustrated with Bra and U16, not DBM, and ultimately are just doing this with the best of intents for the betterment of the comic, regardless of the likelihood of real impact on the ones making it. Better to have said your piece and know you tried than to keep silent. They want more of what they were sold on to see, not this drama. Side note, I've seen bigger outrages from other webcomics for lesser issues. Gunnerkrigg Court was not a fun place to be if you were the repenting-type when Anthony returned in that comic. If you thought people wanted Bra here dead, ho boy, I still remember the Mortal Kombat levels of descriptive vulgar bodily desecration aimed at him for being a bad father over facial make-up.

Hey, I'm not saying what they're doing is "right". It's just the norm expected out of anime. You should have seen the excuses people made left and right when Kill la Kill was a new thing that people were wholeheartedly trying to push as progressively inspired in its showcase of nudity-adjacent cast. And trust me, I couldn't manage more than 2 episodes of it.

Anime as a whole has quite the stagnant double standard on sexualizing teens while pushing lessons on morality, and Dragon Ball doesn't particularly try to rock the boat as it doesn't much care as it's not its battle to fight. Not for nothing, if we're doing the big pivot NOW that Vegito has to come out at the antagonist, I'm surprised they didn't go with killing Bra not for the viewer's benefit, but as a martyr for the "good guys" and being the banner rallying cry against his chaos he'd bring. Yeah, chapter's not done, hell, could still kill her after all this back and forth. Not holding my breath for it, prime opportunity came and went already, but it would give a hell of a lot more credence to "Vegito's actually not that cool a dude, guys" than all....this. 1 Replie(s)

A random thought occurs, just something to discuss OTHER than how Bra is literally Jesus and/or Satan and how the other side objectively has the wrong opinion.

If this is Gast's viewpoint on children, would he even be inclined to even want to be in this tournament, hosted by child murderers? I won't claim to have the comic memorized by heart, so going on the assumption he doesn't know this but general storytelling, if they wanted US, the audience, to know its importance on this universe's distinction, surely it is bound to come up again? Hell, we just went through that with the latest U16 lore dump.

It just occurs to me Gast of all people, seeing he's written like the Dragon Ball Buddha, should see the hypocrisy or at least personal distain in himself in participating in their sport.

Turbocharger was saying:
Probably not an appropriate time to ask this, but is anybody going to give Bra... An extra set of clothes?

She's in a completely unpresentable state in front of her father, her brother, Pan, her counterpart, and a bunch of other people that she hasn't known all that long.

Hit this girl with a clothes beam and THEN have your morality debate and lectures on parenting.

Come now, you know she's been left this way for the fanservice-types to oggle at for the past however many years since this arc started. In fact I wonder if there's more time with her in her "battle damaged" look than regular outfit by this point, and this distraught mess isn't the "normal" look by now? 2 Replie(s)

Welp. That's disappointing.

...Why would U18's Bra even know about the various levels on a terminology level? She doesn't care in the slightest. I'd imagine her line of thought would be more "The one with the flashy lightning all around" rather than labeling them on a grading level. She's a rich girl airhead, not a nerd or a fighter that'd care in the slightest. Just weird dialogue to come from her. Fighting might be everything to the DBZ universe, but I'm fairly certain it's the farthest thing in her mind.

Random thought to throw into this mix since it's something that irks me at least; an additional reason Bra might specifically be getting under some people's skins I'm assuming is the overt attention to detail on "perfecting" a previous established character. Bra the daughter of Vegeta through Z to GT is a nobody, a one-off joke on the naming conventions of Bulma's family and a dad joke in GT. All this ridiculous drama isn't just over Salagir's OC, it's the OC "better" version of someone who already exists.

This works better at least with a character to compare and contrast that has, you know, history. The various Vegetas this comic's presented for example. Bra, the canon Bra...is nothing. There is more history to U16's Vegito's Bra in this one webcomic than all of canon and non-canon sources to U18's Bra put together. So this about-face that she's EVERYTHING, about the fights, about the power levels, about the whole comic, is quite aggravating to watch it slog through. U18's hypothesized canon Bra per DBM's timeframe showing up U16's drama queen episode doesn't present much catharsis, it just makes me wish the comic would shut up about U16 as a whole.

But that's just my musing as it is currently. I'm still in the camp to please just kill off Bra already and get to the comic's selling point, thank you.

Seems I picked the perfect time of peak Christmas cheer to come back to posting here. Cool.

I'll chip in despite my better judgement; I wanted Bra to die here. Make no mistake, the comic has done its best efforts to actively make me dislike her on near every level, but I'm less interested in it for some vendetta against Salagir's OC. I just want the story to continue and that would be the most interesting outcome of what to make out of Vegito's actions amongst both us the viewers and the characters still in play in the story. Her being MIA for a while's just a personal bonus. Stopping at this point is just....such a half-measure. You get the disgust in Vegito's actions, without the action having its full outcome, and we STILL have to put up with Bra's abrasiveness and black hole to the main plot.

Of course you can still get something out of this going in the direction they are. I'm just not really interested in whatever evidently black heart-to-heart she has to give in this story. And having a character breakdown on Vegito that's by this point so far detached from what makes Vegito the character that's actually adored in canon....I don't see the point anymore. Vegito's not exactly a Steven Universe fusion in the character arc department, here.

But mainly, I just want to get back to the freakin' tournament.

Hey. So, long time reader, like, for too many years now, not often enough poster somewhere in the single-digits. And while not really a complaint, I do feel rather teased that we had a big Christmas Day build-up to Bra finally getting some sort of consequence for her actions this recent incredibly long-lasting arc. Be it the "best" way to handle her said consequences or not, just something to actually occur after all this time, nicely falling on holiday that would benefit from the provided catharsis. So....having Gast just show up to be the fun police of the story really rather sucks. I'm sure there's obviously gonna be more to divulge in the next few pages and whatnot, just....man. That sucked. All that build-up for nadda.

I'm kinda also in the camp that this is way beyond even throwing every single Namekian into a hodgepodge fusion should be remotely capable of, but whatever, it's an OC. And it's magic, a story's mightiest weapon against sense, logic and reasoning. Just curious how they'll make this one believable. I'm leaning at a cheep shot at DBS's "tingly back" theory and he's countering Vegito's emotions, notably rage.
