我注意到大多数读者对维黛尔的外貌有意见，所以这里做一个简单的说明，解释我对第7宇宙悟饭和维黛尔重新设计的思路。
考虑到悟空在三年间的成长（从753年到756年）…
悟饭在短短一年内的突然成长（精神与时光屋），让我别无选择，只能把第7宇宙的悟饭画成少年悟饭和成年悟饭之间的混合体。
……而维黛尔需要看起来更年轻一些。如果仔细看的话，我其实没有改动太多，只是让她的发型和服装更贴近年轻风格，所以她看起来可能比悟饭小很多。
再说，从这些例子我们也能看到，在短时间内角色发生巨大变化并不是不合理的。
