Would you fight if you knew that you were seriously outclassed by people who were virtually 10-1000's times stronger than you in a tournament?
That's why the standard humans in the cast won't participate. As Salagir et. al. are using the plot of the orginal DB and DBZ manga, they have to keep on with the much lower strength that was given to the humans by Akira Toriyama.

I sure hope seeing Mirai Trunks and 16 makes Gohan want to fight, seriously.

Found something out: Future Trunks was originally from 20 years in the future. In the end of Buu saga, 10 years had went until Multiverse. That's why Trunks says 10 years ago, and for Gohan it's 30 years.

One correction: #16 doesn't have his earrings in the last panel. Just for you to know.

*Vulcangohan:* No, that's not right. Trunks was 14 when he went SSJ but another 3 years passed before he went back in time making him 17. And he did go back 20 years. The discrepency is simply a date of birth thing (meaning his 18th birthday was later the same year he went back). He spent 8 months in his time after that while the time machine recharged so he was likely 18 when he returned to the past again.

Also, Gohan was 6 when Trunks first appeared (4 when Raditz came, a year passed before the Nappa/Vegeta/Freeza battles, and then almost another year before Goku came back) and then turned 9 during the Cell Saga, shortly before the Cell Games. (10, if you count the RoSaT trip, which the series does since he's 16 during the Buu Saga which occurs in May but just prior to his 17th birthday.)

Meanwhile the Trunks at the Cell Games would have been 20 (18 + 2 RoSaT trips). So then the Trunks in this would be 30 and the Gohan would 36 or 37, 7 years older.

And for refrence, Trunks is 23 in GT and Gohan's either 26 or 27. The OFFICIAL number of years for the time skip between Z and GT is 5. 10 is fan number and not accurate.

*Minime:* No one knows were New Namek is. Goku only found it by going to King Kai's and searching for their ki. Thus it would be impossible for Trunks or Bulma to locate the planet. And "divine intervention" isn't just something the Kais can do whenever they please. Goku only got the help he did from King Kai because he was a pupil. But King Kai can't help the Earth "just because". Otherwise what would keep him from stepping in to stop the RRA or Daimao? Or stop Kaioshin from taking out Freeza?

*Wojak:* There is no such rule. Shenron was unable to revive everyone killed by Freeza due to the amount of people, not how long they had been dead. Freeza and his men had killed so many that he could only bring back a year's worth of them.

*Jambaman:* Firstly, the humans are all OLD at this point. Yamcha and Tien were born in 733, this story is set in 794. Thus they are 61 years old, well out of their primes. And Krillin was born in 736 so he's 58 years old. So I doubt any of them are over 80k at this point, Yamcha and Krillin especially since neither of them has seriously trained in the last 27 years.

gohan was 11 when he fought cell....so after tht 7 years had past since he defeated cell the narator states this and you can look at goten's age so then gohan would be 18 then add 10 years i thin because piccolo stated tht goku had waited 10 years to fight uub so tht would make gohan 28 if thtz right and then i guess if u add the years in this story which they said was 20 it would be 30 years or over 30 years since they have seen future trunks

Putting in future trunks in was clever thinking.

Wojak: I don't know, it's been ages since I've seen that part. And according to Salagir and a friend of mine I'm remembering wrong about Shenron stating the restriction, either way though I'm positive the implication was that it was due to the volume of people, not the actual passage of time. My only suggestion would be to look through the Freeza battle, post SSJ Goku, to locate it.

super ghost: No, Gohan was 10 (9 if you don't count the time in the RoSaT) at the Cell Games and 16 in the Buu Saga (stated in the manga and series, IIRC, but I know it's stated in at least one).

I don't think Trunks would have woken up #16 in his world. Even though he helped them, Trunks was still distrustful of the Androids. Just look at his reaction to Krillin's attempts to help them.

This Trunk isnt the same Trunks...he would be much older...But he is the same in the sense that he and the universe 18 characters experienced the same events at different points in their lives...

SuperVegetable..Majin buu may have not been awakened....and remember Babidi was searching for pure energy which Gohan had..and in Future Trunks timeline..there was no Gohan...So babidi probably hasnt arrived on earth or never will
Since the androids were around for a much longer time in F.trunks timeline...as where in Universe 18 they only last a mere days or weeks..Until the cell saga is over..

aww ive always had a soft spot for 16

why was the special on trunks' universe even made? we didnt learn anything we didnt already know from this page! and the art sucked! the least they could do was show how trunks knew where 16 was, how they set about rebuilding everything, how humanity recovered from something like that. maybe a fight with 13 or cooler.

i want more universes based on trunks's time travelling. eg a universe where cell killed trunks but never went back in time, forever imperfect lol. or where future gohan went back in time instead of trunks.
