All you pretty much said was "I like Goku" and then went on to ensure that the rest of us will need theropy. The Super Exciting Guide says that the Potara multiply the powers of those fusing together, there is no set multiplier. Taken straight from the official DB guide supervised by Toriyama.

Since Goku was at 3 million vs. Freeza, and Vegeta is questioned to be as strong as, or stronger than Goku in the Android Saga, he has to be at least at 3 million by then too. And for the sake of argument, say Goku doesn't get any stronger. And once again for arguments sake, had they fused in the Android Saga, they would have still been insanely strong.

Goku - 3,000,000

Vegeta - 3,000,000
=
Vegetto - 9,000,000,000,000

Since Goku's base strength is multiplied by Vegeta's base strength, resulting in an insanely huge number... this proves the reason why power levels are no longer numeric after Trunks kills Freeza. Toriyama would have used up all his word bubble space just putting in the numbers.

@ Visitor- Your super special awesome guide has Vegetto way to powerful then since it also says ssj2 is x2 of ssj and ssj3 is x4 if ssj2. That would put base Vegetto as higher than ssj3, so there was no point of him transforming, which he did. So Vegetto was fighting Buu at x50 of what was already a lot more than ssj3. The ammount of power would have vaporised Buu in one blow. Sorry to say, but that thing is not following what is shown.

@ BlackCat- I'm all for not banning people, but when they abuse the comment system then they don't deserve to leave a comment.

@ ssj3gotenks- What is your problem? Nobody is talking about banning you. I reported the people who were flooding the comments with repeated garbage. The ones who were obviously abusing the comment system to annoy people. You are not included in them.

Base Vegetto WAS way stronger than a SS3, and so was Buu, by a HUGE margin. Super Buu had Fat Buu, Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and Ultimate Gohan in him at the time, and Buu and Gohan alone were both stronger than a SS3, plus two young Super Saiyans and Piccolo (who is hard to gauge, but was at least stronger than Goten and Trunks). Being able to draw on all that power puts him WAY above anything else seen in the series thus far. Vegetto needed to have a huge power level.

Vegetto's normal form could have handled it, but in the original manga he transformed immediately just because he could. You act like Vegetto intended to destroy Buu for good, but that wasn't the plan, so I'm sure he knew how to hold back his power. The whole goal once he fused was to get absorbed. He intended to over power Buu so that he had no other choice but to absorb him, so why not go Super Saiyan? That gives you the ability to draw on all the extra power you were holding back on just in case the Majin had any surprises up his sleeve.

Alright, sorry about the "retard" stuff, I wasn't being serious when I started it.
I merely wanted to critize the way you insult others with words like that and treat you the same way for once. I mean, you're right, when you do this (mostly), they are in fact being stupid. But you can still be polite while correcting them.

Wait, are you really arguing against the "Super Exciting Guide"? You know, that thing is pretty accurate ^^

Perhaps you're just setting base Vegetto too weak, I know your arguments from previous pages, but imho the other arguments weren't bad as well - perhaps Vegetto just went SSJ, because he was around Buu's level in base - SSJ would be the next step and allow him to play with Buu like he did.
Of course you say 50x stronger would be too much and he would obliterate Buu with one blow then, but he should have enough control about his SSJ form to prevent that.

Or perhaps Gohan-Buu is way stronger than we think... in the end, there is no way to determine it properly, since powerlevels had gone to insane numbers and I don't think AT thought about it anyway anymore, so he just wrote some story and we are arguing about stuff he never really considered - stuff that makes no sense at all in the end xD
