Just caught up after a long break (around when Bra had her body stolen with zero consequences), and it might be too early to say it, but I can't believe I actually called it. Bra is going to once again see no reasonable difficulty for her shortcomings as a character, learn nothing, and will instead probably be congratulated for breaking from Babidi. I don't have words to describe how hilariously bad Bra is as a character, and how detrimental the writing around her has been to the series overall. It's been a lesson in how an author putting their fanfic waifu into a story can kill it - regardless of the talent involved (the art really is top notch most of the time).

DBM had so much potential, but at this point if I were to ever reccomend this to a friend it would be with the caveat of skipping any Bra related stuff. Which, honestly, probably cuts out too much of the plot. What a mess. If it goes the way I think it will, I'm out. It's come full circle for me.

At least DBS is looking fantastic in comparison (aside from the usual Vegeta jobbing).

Bra would have to lose for the fight to end, and NO WAY are we gonna let that happen. Lmfao, the dude's hard-on for his fanfic version of Bra actually killed the last of the momentum DBM had. It's almost fitting, in a way.

So glad I took a long break, couldn't imagine waiting weekly for this. Pretty much hate-reading at this point, sunk cost fallacy is a bitch.

Well, this was the page that pushed me into creating an account. When I started reading DBM waaaay back, I had some hope that Bra would either fade into the background or have the fact she's a clear Mary Sue/Author's pet become something dealt with in the story - y'know, maybe some character development. No such luck apparently, the world/rules will bend to ensure she comes out on top. It's like having a story told to you by that kid you remember from elementary school who always made up new rules so they or their character won everything.

I see people get trashed for not liking bra and tbh it takes a toddler's understanding of storytelling to not see how this character sucks any fun and potential out of the arcs she's prominent in. She's legit more of a Mary Sue than the actual MarySue gag character.

Such a shame, DBM could have been much, much better than this considering the premise.

Anyway, I doubt anything significant will come of this, it'll probably end with Bra getting a pat on the back for shakinging Babidi's control by herself.
