Yeah I agree about the whole bullshit of the power levels moviewise, I'm just pulling from the barebones info we have, in the end it's Salagirs choice here, also I probably should've worded it better, accurately scaling the movies isn't really possible as they're more promotional material than anything, about as reliable as DBH for scaling. Slug and Frieza probably are both aware of the others power and likely don't want to deal with the trouble of a large scale war, they might even profit off of eachother, Slug may be one of the buyers of conquered planets, so it'd just be a waste to fight each other, and would be easier to just keep to their own territories. I could see Frieza being mighty pissed about this situation though.

There is absolutely no way that Slug can be that weak, and in case you don't know, Goku with Piccolo's energy did a 100X Kaioken, which is pretty damn powerful, small denki might just be a product of the movie formula 1 Resposta(s)

Hard to say just how strong Slug was before he had his youth restored, taking into account where the manga was at the time of the movie, Frieza should've been hit by the spirit bomb, so we can assume Goku in the movie had a power level of 3,000,000. Taking this into account, if we subscribe to the theory of the slug movie being from a timeline where Frieza was killed by the spirit bomb, the Frieza King Kai describes as stronger than Frieza would likely be past 50% Frieza. Also taking into account that Slug was pierced by the 100x Kaioken in his giant form, meaning that Goku had to have a power level of 300,000,000, and still had to be finished off by a spirit bomb, definitely attests to his strength. I say this Slug, while not in the Prime of his youth, still isn't anything to scoff at, and definitely could destroy the saiyans with ease. Comparing how strong King Piccolo got by restoring his youth and transferring that percentage to Slug I see him being around 2/3rds as strong as his youthful self, meaning he still towers over the saiyans like a mountain to an ant, and that finishes my first time ever rambling about power levels for Lord Slug of all people, I need a life.

Holy Shit King Piccol- I mean Lord Slug! I never would've thought DBM would've found a way to integrate him into the comic but here we are. Now I wonder if Janemba is a possibility

Advice from someone who does a lot of writing in his spare time, introducing something this big then to immediately take it away is a very bad writing decision, and only really works in stories that need to keep a status quo, and even then it becomes irritating. For point B, I have to say that it's best to take the comic and the novel as two different entities, of course there will be details in there that relate to the comic but take it with a grain of salt and treat the comic as the primary resource is my advise, canon until proven otherwise I guess you could say. Moving on to point D, we can take the page from two pages ago, when Kakarot first meets Frieza, and has a look of absolute and utter terror. Imagine a fly versus a T Rex, the fly may be able to get out of the way of T Rex's attack, or in Kakarot's case, be able to live through them, but it's still a T Rex against a fly, that fly won't be able to do anything. Vegeta is stronger than Kakarot by a large margin in this comic, so it wouldn't be unusual for Kakarot to play along until he is able to reach Vegeta's level. I get where you're trying to come from, but it's healthier to accept what happened and move on, you obviously care for the story and want it to be the best you think it can be, but this story isn't made by you, it's alright to state your opinions and state your issues, but trying to claim your words over the creators is just a bad move.

Not really sure on the time when he would've made the wish, it just depends on how the immortality works, if it makes him unaging, then it can't be when he was a kid, it'd have to be pretty recent in the timeline. Hopefully we get some exposition on his immortality next panel 2 Resposta(s)

It always feels good when the longtime theories finally get confirmed, kind of weird this twist would be revealed in a special chapter instead of the main comic, but there'll probably be no good place for that. I wonder if this chapter happening also means somethings going to happen to our favorite not a ssj3, and the ritual he's going through in the main comic, sometimes these special chapters revolve around what's going to happen in the main story and sometimes they don't, I kind of hope it does in this case so we don't have to wait till the next big threat to come up, which at this point will either be Vegito's rage or XXI finally making his move.

Which I agree with, Dragon Ball Characters in general have survived some crazy things, Goku's fights against the two piccolo's being the best examples of Goku's endurance I feel, especially Vs. Piccolo Jr.

Yeah, and if you'd remember that scene, you'd know that Goku dodged the Kikoho by jumping into the air leading to the arena being destroyed and the end of the fight, he was never hit by the Kikoho, if he did, as Goku himself admitted, he would've died. The whole point of Tien using that move was to get Goku vulnerable in the air and to destroy the arena, as Tien could fly and Goku couldn't

So many Western Comic Book vibes from this artstyle, Nappa especially looks really good on this page,that big, hulking, muscular bruiser design of his translates really well to the artstyle of superhero comics, fits in with the villains you'd commonly see

Yes, but when that happened, Vegito swiftly took care of it, this is very, very different. People died, not just from other universes, but even her own family, I've been irritated with the previous times she's gotten away but every single thing is setting this up for Bra's fall, and for her to finally change herself

Alright in all honesty, after reflecting on a few things, I'm fine with Bra here as long as this has a ginormous impact on her character after babidi is eventually defeated, she'll have to confront the fact that she's responsible for the deaths of friends and even family, and that it was her fault she was controlled in the first place. I had a certain thought go through my head, one where Raditz comes in to the fight, and the long awaited Vegito rage would happen, as he'd only see a villain, aka Raditz in this case, fighting his daughter, and I feel like Gohan trying to explain what happened to Vegito will lead to the panel he's being choked. Although this could happen with most characters attacking Bra, I feel like it's set up for Raditz.

This fight just keeps repeating the same beats, heroes get beat up, land a blow on bra, she eats sensus and erases everything, ,this can only go on for so long before it just feels like pure padding, and unfortunately at this point it has.

That may have been said but everyone at that part of DBZ seemed to treat it like a typical Bulma overreacting. Honestly Yamcha was really, really screwed over by Toriyama in order for Vegeta to come in. Yamcha was usually the loyal one in the entire relationship while Bulma often went crazy over other men. For character reasons it's just out of character for Yamcha to be the one cheating,but what's done is done
