Yeah except Goku didn't know how to use ki in the first chapter of DB. Nor did he when he was being shot with a machine gun by Launch. While there are several instances, in db, when catching someone stronger than you off guard can let you beat them, the idea that normal bullets could ever pose any real threat to a Saiyan was entirely a Super retcon. That being said, this comic is based on Super, so Mai making Black bleed here is correct.

Been waiting so long for this and now it's finally fight time! Bra's looking goddamn jacked after that last Zenkai, but I feel like Gast still has the advantage here. It seems likely he's gonna try to pressure Bra into awakening SS3 so she can learn to control it, and given Vegito's recent character trajectory I'm not sure what would piss him off more: her going berserk and attacking bystanders, or her keeping a lid on it thus proving Vegito wrong. It seems likely that we might get a mix of both. I'm guessing he's gonna snap during or after this match, given his mental state, and we'll get the Gogeta fight before the finals. Cell looks like he understands what's gonna happen but I can't imagine he's planning on getting involved; the Gohan's would no doubt kill him immediately if he tries anything

I don't think Vegeto is looking at U16 Bra here. Based on where he was standing, last page, she'd be to his right and on the ground, but Vegeto is looking to the left and isn't looking down. I think he's initially gonna call Buu a liar and accuse him of everything. A lot of folks on here want him to flip out and immediately try to kill her, as if she isn't his daughter. He's gonna try to defend her more than anyone else.

This is either a really smart move on (U18)Bra's part, or she's more like Vegeta than I thought.
Calling out(U16)Bra for how weak she is, mentally, reads like a Vegeta "Saiyan pride" speech
but with the added twist that (U18)Bra doesn't value physical power nearly as much as willpower.
While this isn't exactly "good therapy" for (U16)Bra, it may be perfect for deescalating the situation
which is probably a bit more important right now.

That being said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if the next page was (U16)Bra suddenly skewering (U18)Bra.

A lot of you guys are missing the point. Look at their surroundings, Bra obviously freaked out and destroyed the place; maybe even killed people. Vegeto realizes that, if she becomes stronger than him, there would be no one to stop her from possible killing everyone. This is a case him thinking about the greater good. I know there's some kinda weird hate-boner constantly going around for Bra in this community, but I think she's really come into to her own, as a character, since getting the Majin tattoo. She's went so much farther than I expected her to and it's very clear that this isn't just purely Babidi's will; part of her definitely wanted this. Budokai Royal is basically gg at this point, no way Fat-Buu's gonna get off an absorption with just Gohan as backup; maybe if he'd tried it right away.
