Been reading for years. I discovered DBM during the cell vs tapion fight. What a ride it’s been! I want to send out the most sincere thank you to the creators, you guys are legends I will be sure to catch you at a conference one day since I live in France. I don’t think there is any other piece of literature I have followed with this much attention and excitement for this long. You kept me on my toes for a good ten years. Amazing job.

This however was not what I was expecting. I thought an homage to the tournament was in order and we were going to get the polar opposite from both finalists’ previous fights. I was expecting a long fight full of magic, turnarounds, ending with a good old hand to hand fight to the last drop of energy between Goku and XXIs original form(s) ending with Goku losing of course. I think ppl have always really enjoyed the actual tournament stuff and every side story kind of missed the mark notably the majin bra arc so a return to the basic would have been sick. I guess there is the whole conclusion / everyone vs XXI arc now and that’s cool I always knew that was coming but a better ending to the actual tournament would’ve been better than this I think.
