I like this page. At first I was shocked at Videl's words but thinking it over, she doesn't really know Vegeta. Vegeta springing to SSJ was puzzling but I like the theory other commenters had that he was reacting to Bra's rising power mostly on instinct. Though tempers are high all around.
As for those comparing Bra and Vegeta in terms of evil, I tend to give her much more leeway by virtue of her being like 16 or something, while Vegeta was a full-grown adult causing problems on purpose. Not that you can't critique her actions or motivations, but only one of the two was willingly Majinized. She is not well adjusted, and I am excited to see her involvement with the threat of XXI, since she hasn't really faced much strife from external sources; barring this tourney. Vegito and Bra are so interesting in this and I really hope they get a lot of play soon. Especially seeing her interact with the components of her Father she never got to know.

Bah! I love SSJ3 Vegito sooo much. No matter what else Multiverse brings to the table I am most greatful for the excellent artwork of him. Love his facial expression and the way he is snubbing gast in this scene. Very funny.

I really love this cell. His surprised expression in the final panel is very cute.

I wanna see him eat it, either through cockiness or desperation, but don't wanna see any sort of controlling aspect from XXI. I just think that will result in the most engaging story, mind-control has run its course already and imo doesn't jive well with a character like Vegito. I know people have lots of opinions about his characterization but I will hold out until the end of this series to have final thoughts. There may be fair critiques to be made, I just enjoy the ride too much to let them weigh me down.

Gero is lying, can't wait to see his last-last resort after the Gast Cell fight.

Been loving this chapter so much, grizzled Satan and Videl look very cool, and it is neat Giran is part of the resistance, gotta ask what became of Eighter, with this crew they must be pretty desperate so surely he could help, he is stronger than Giran. I wonder if the lie is that they took down an android or Gohan's fate. I'm hoping the latter, imagining their clever destruction of the immensely more powerful android is great.

I love Krillin's design here. I'm in agreement with the concept that Goku succumbed to the heart virus in this story, could easily be wrong though. I'm excited to see Krillin gain hope from recognizing Gast's energy, he seems like he could use a win.

I really like these androids, personally. I've been picturing #28 with the pale white skin that #19 has and #31 as just a caucasian skin tone. Neither probably has the mime complexion but I always liked that look and hope she does.

Not gonna chime in on whether or not Gohan persists in this timeline but I have to applaud the suspense this page exhibits. We all knew Gast would find Earth somehow diminished by android presence but it is neat we aren't sure if it will be 19 and 20 or 18 and 17, that with the ambiguity surrounding the fate of the z fighters makes me super excited for this chapter!

That's gotta be lights out for Janemba. How will gast handle XXI now? Gast had such an untouchable aura previously, so glad to see an opponent push him like this. I just hope this isn't where he peters out. 1 Replie(s)

Didn't expect that, I doubt ssj3 Goku had the power required to break Janemba's sword. Not that I thought Gast was weaker than that but still, worth thinking about. Love the vein on the hand too, wasn't easy to break.

Beautiful page, Really enjoying the art in this special, even if I'm sorta bummed the reign of Kakaditz ended. Especially excited that this fight could go either way. There aren't many matches without clear strength disparities in Dragon Ball generally, but they are usually great.
