I like this. Ties into Piccolo's character arc in DBZ and how he came to reconcile with his own evil and negative emotions. Good writing.

Doesn't it kind of make sense, though? Paragus had to raise and somehow learn to control Broly, while making connections as one of the very few remaining saiyans in the universe. And while he was doing that, he had to learn that Vegeta was still alive and working for Freeza. And from that, work out his last known position. AND make a blind guess that Vegeta was living on Earth after Frieza and Cold died and their empire collapsed. Really, the fact that he even found Vegeta seems like dumb luck.It makes you wonder why Paragus didn't seek out Vegeta until the prince had already been keeping a rather low profile on Earth for 3 years, training for the cyborgs.
It's not like it's a secret that the 3 'officially' remaining Saiyans work for Freeza's army. And Vegeta wasn't constantly surrounded by any elites keeping an eye on him now either. He and Nappa apparently just spent 1 whole year of their lives traveling to Earth without direct orders.
The plan with Comet Camori was actually just to get rid of Vegeta and his son. But simply to take revenge on Vegeta, it was enough to send his son after him, nothing more. Do you see Paragus? Sometimes it can be simple without doomsday scenarios.
Yeah, yeah. You have to practice some mental gymnastics to bring Movie Lore logically into harmony with DBZ Lore. Lol.

Not to mention he was busy working out the Camori plan, enslaving the Shamolans and constructing a sham kingdom to offer to Vegeta. I'm surprised it only took him like 25 years all in all.

King Kai's planet is hard for him to find, it's been shown multiple times. Remember how he tried to do a similar thing when Kid Buu destroyed the Earth and he wasn't able to do it in time?Goku shouldve teleported them all to King Kais place or the place of the Supreme Kais or New Namek.
And with Dende, it becomes moot since the dragon balls will be destroyed either way.

Yes, what we've seen of Bra is textbook bad parenting by Vegetto. Fully agree. She became a terrible person because of him.I'm not saying what Bra did isn't completely awful and wrong, but I feel like a lot of y'all are treating this as an isolated incident to make Vegetto more blameless than he is. Bra isn't happy she surpassed Gohan because she's got that Saiyan urge to be stronger than everyone else - she's that way because the first thing he does here is bitch about how sad he is that there were CONSEQUENCES to treating his daughter like an outlet for him to get the real challenge he's been missing! And when she was much younger and doing bad things with her Super Saiyan power, almost blowing up the Earth because she didn't really understand the consequences, what does Vegetto do? Help her socialize with normal people so she can learn the value of average human life? No, he takes her into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, pisses her off, gets pissed off that she's hard to control, and makes her fight Gotenks. All the while pushing her to catch up to him, both to inherit all his power and to be someone he can fight, even though there's a strong possibility that she'd have never wanted this life if she wasn't pressed into it as a kid.
Add to that knowing about Dragon Balls that can undo everything... I'm not saying Bra isn't a monster here, to be clear. She is. But it's Vegetto's damn fault! She's trying to be what he wants and then getting punished for doing it the wrong way. Leaving aside how spoiled we got by Gohan not acting remotely his age in canon DBZ, it's reasonable for a twelve year old's thought process in this situation to be "my dad threatened to kill me because I did the thing he wants me to do too well but I can't NOT do the thing because he keeps bringing me on missions and making me train and stuff so what AM I supposed to do???"

Very hard to say. Fusions don't happen in real life after all :)Say... what would be the outcome of the fusion of Vegatas and Gokus personalities? Because they seem pretty uncopatible to make a functional mind
I generally agree with what other people have been saying in the comment section. They're polar opposites. Goku is a pretty terrible father while Vegeta at least tries, but has ego and aggression problems. With Vegeto, you have a guy who doesn't even seem to want to be a parent, but has the same issues as Vegeta while also being in charge of protecting the entire universe. Him threatening to kill his own children is definitely possible because he's much more cynical than Goku and less capable at teaching responsibility than Vegeta. Another very telling example of how he doesn't really care about his role as a parent was in the U16 novel where he debated threatening Gohan's family just to get a good fight out of his son.
Generally it's important to keep in mind that he's his own person and doesn't have those two personalities at the same time,so his traits and choices will be somewhere on a scale between how either of Goku/Vegeta would act in the same situation.
Actual doctor working in psychiatry here (would prove if I could post pictures).
Bra's memory of this event being selective is actually something that can be seen in some people with personality disorders, particularly cluster B personality disorders (Narcissism, Emotionally unstable personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder).
Being reprimanded and held accountable for their behavior can often be seen by themselves as incredibly traumatic experiences because they all generally struggle with how to relate themselves to the world and people around them. Being told "You did this bad thing and now people are angry at you for it" can be perceived as "You're being yourself and people are angry at you for it" and thus often REINFORCES their pathology.
I don't know if the writers consciously went for this angle but it's very nice to notice. :) 2 Odpowiedzi

And great ape boost on top of it. Even if it's not 10x in DBM I could see Kakarot doing well even without zenkai.well, maybe kakarot did get a zenkai boost. At 8,000 he'd only be at 16,000 which is still less than the 20,000 or so anguila had, and by the looks of it, they could be dead or ko'd.
He wasn't really off guard either, he saw the beast and likely has ki sensing, so he knew he was there. I doubt he assumed the ape was docile, as it was already in progress of wrecking shit. So a zenkai boost of say, an extra bit boosting him to 15,000 would make him 30,000 and knock his block off. He somehow beat the other guy too, so him having a 33% advantage would be well in line of the 25% one shot quota vegeta had over cui.

Is it established though that he can get zenkai despite being immortal?
