We saw that when Zen Buu (allegedly) wanted to absorb Broly, Vegetto, Son Bra, and Gohan kept the pink demon busy long enough for Broly to be sent to his universe. When all four returned, they were deliberately outside the arena, where no one would notice them immediately (mainly the Varga/organizers). There, on page 278, there is clearly regular gravity similar to that on Earth.

Did the audience sign of waver? The Vargas could be easily sued for negligence for the 'killing the audience multiple times' shenanigans. Or what about the therapy bills after all the trauma they suffered?

the intention is to build up a little more tension by having Vegeta and Pan encounter an obstacle that is more difficult to overcome than if Gohan, Bra, or Piccolo were there.

The story of ‘Promesse’ began in 2016. While rereading Dragon Ball, I realised that Grandpa Gohan wasn't mentioned anywhere after the fight against Vegeta. I found it all the more frustrating that even the anime didn't think to bring Gohan back in the other world in the fillers.
So I thought : What if I created this encounter between Goku and the most important man in his life myself?
It was on the back burner until 2020, when, with the lockdown (covid), I got serious about it. I wrote and drew everything between 2020 and 2021, scanned it all and cleaned it up in Photoshop.
Everything was ready, all that was missing was the text to put in the bubbles. And bam! My computer crashed and all my data was lost. I didn't have the strength to redo all the cleaning up, so it remained on standby.
Until march 8 2024, when we learned of the passing of Akira Toriyama. I cried so much that day, and as a final tribute to my favourite artist, it motivated me to finish this One Shot once and for all.

I wrote something, like a retelling of the Filler arc of the tournament in the other world and how Goku was able to unlock SSJ2 and 3. I have an idea that I think is pretty cool, which is a bit different from what we usually see in DB.
Maybe I'll draw it one day, but nothing's certain.
