Trunks ging terug naar zijn tijd. Deze keer met een afstandsbediening met een groter bereik.
Zijn cyborgs waren nog altijd sterker dan hij, en waren niets dan slechts van plan.

Maar toen hij terug wilde gaan om zijn vrienden het goede nieuws te vertellen kwam Cell uit de shaduw!
Cell nam de tijdmachine, en ging verder terug in de tijd...
Daarom creerde hij een nieuwe tijdlijn, met een heel eigen verhaal... Het verhaal dat we allemaal kennen!
