We’re the Vargas, hailing from another universe parallel to this one. We used our technology to cross over to this plane of existence.
And we’re Namekians, assisting the Vargas for a grand spectacle that was never before seen in all universes.

Not quite. There isn’t just one universe, but many of them, and each one follows their own path, with different situations and choices. We weren’t aware of any possibilities of time dilations.
