Un día ocorreu un terrible accidente. A súa invención máis perigosa, a carbonita, escapouse do seu control destruíndo todo o seu planeta e obrigándolles a fuxir.

Ata que se instalaron nun planeta deserto, e crearon un inmenso anel que lles proporcionaba luz solar.
