I'm the better King Kai.

My jokes are funnier than Yamcha's life and I'm actually still alive.

Take that Goku, you god-killing bastard!

Broly is confused so, he'll probably go on another rampage. Seems to be his thing, ya know?

I feel like no one else is gonna say this so here;

Bra should be forgiven.

Bra is the way she is because Vegito is her father. Vegito is cocky and extremely powerful. We've been shown that the only way he deals with his problems is through a test of might. He lacks Goku's golden heart or Vegeta's character growth to be able to deal with problems without his fists. And the way he threatened his daughter rather than try to teach her how to be calm so she doesn't lose control again, shows how bad he is at navigating feelings.

Yes, Bra did horrible and nearly unforgivable things but, part of the cannon DB story has people forgiven for horrifying actions all the time.

Take Vegeta for instance; he was responsible for the Sayian invasion of Earth which led to hundreds if not thousands of lives lost including half the main cast. Vegeta even slaughtered his own people (Nappa) for not being strong enough. He was an undeniable bastard but, he was forgiven anyway.

And look at Buu; he was responsible for literally making the human race extinct and killing almost everyone in the show. But, after his expulsion of evil and that evil's reincarnation, they both were also forgiven.

The main cast almost always forgives people who do terrible shit to them and the world. It's part of who they are.

And as for why Bra is this way, children's behavior is strongly influenced by how their parents raise them. Not to say they're always 1-to-1 on "bad parents = bad kids" but it's definitely true here. Bra should still be punished but, Vegito was absolutely willing to execute his own child. That's kinda fucked up in my opinion and the rest of the people there agree.

I mean, how would you react if you saw a father try to kill his own kid? You'd probably judge him too 1 Replie(s)

I'm loving the minimal amount of colors in the panels unless it's meant to represent something. Gohan's eyes really shine here

Grash was saying:
This plot has completely stalled so far. It would be best to pick up the pace and have the heroes actually score a victory for once. The last victory the heroes experienced was Gohan killing Ginyu and mincing up kakarotto. Otherwise it has been defeat after defeat for a year. Here is a review:

Cell gets the drop on bra --> bra eats a senzu
Gohan tries to sneak attack babadi --> bra blocks it
Cell tries to sneak attack babadi --> she blocks it
Gohan is teleported back to punch her --> she is unfazed
Nidwok lasers her --> she dodges it and kills him
Gohan does a despeate ultimate rage attack that hits point blank --> She gets a senzu then kills him
Piccolos try to assist --> She kills them both

If all of these characters are mere fodder then the reader loses motivation to invest in them and care about their fate. If bra is portrayed as invincible then it makes it harder to write her defeat and make it logical. I speculate that the reason the author separated most of the cast is because it would be too chaotic to write too many characters at once. (To be fair, Toriyama also accomplished this with fusions, absorptions, and the time chamber).

However at this point the only thing the reader can do is wait for the main cast to return. This removes all tension from the story because we are basically waiting for buu and gohan to die. You have to balance the levity with the desperation. This is just my advice as one fictional author to another.

You have a point, but given that one of the Buu's (I've lost track by now) has finally gotten to Babidi, it seems that the story will finally move forward with either his death or Bra's. Honestly, I kinda want to see Bra be released from Babidi's control and see how she deals with the realization of what she did, because it's either absolute horror or no regret. But my point is the story will likely move on from this

Reun was saying:
Is Kakarot getting mini zenkais all the while or does he need to be healed to get one?
Moreover, how do you think he became immortal in the first space? Went along with Bulma and then betrayed them in the end?

Very good question, and I have a theory:it may be that he got hit on the head, but his Saiyan nature didn't completely disappear. It would appear at random times and eventually he came back to being Kakarot fully. He then bidded his time until the dragon balls were close and made his wish for immortality. He then betrayed all his "friends" and slaughtered everyone on Earth. But it's just a theory 1 Replie(s)
