We’re the Vargas, hailing from another uni­verse par­al­lel to this one. We used our tech­nol­o­gy to cross over to this plane of ex­is­tence.

And we’re Namekians, as­sist­ing the Vargas for a grand spec­ta­cle that was never before seen in all uni­vers­es.

Not quite. There isn’t just one uni­verse, but many of them, and each one follows their own path, with dif­fer­ent sit­u­a­tions and choices. We weren’t aware of any pos­si­bil­i­ties of time di­la­tions.
