Is...is that the light grenade?? Did Piccolo teach Bra too?
Also, Piccolo is absolutely right, Vegeta would murder them if he heard they held back because of him, or he'd die of shame.

I never understand this logic. Like, we're gonna fight you anyways, kill them and we have even MORE reason to kill you.
The hostage 'theory' here I think is that they're willing to negotiate to save the hostage, since as far as everyone knows, no dragon balls are available to revive them, potentially forever, but... I'm not really sure what U13 Vegeta's thinking on this since 'We have hostages, let us kill you' is a horrible plan. unless he's about to try to negotiate a getaway, but the U13 squad just bailing in different directions would likely have achieved that anyways. with Bra's speed limited by Piccolo's radius, and the inability to sense ki in the frozen area (She doesn't need it to kai Kai, but she would need it to track them)

AlphaTemp was saying: At the very least, we know Uub can move in the stopped time.
How do you know that? For me it definitely looked like the life-stop (not time-stop) wasn't active anymore.
It cannot be Uub. If you guys paid a little more attention, you would get to this conclusion yourself, but let me explain it again real quick:
Most of you seem to forget that Uub was in that parallel dimension for almost two years. In other words, by the time he returns with Juna on page 2565, another full day has already passed compared to where we currently are in the story.
Uub goes to train with Buu (page 1977), 1 year and 4 months pass (page 2549), a few more months go by (page 2557) — that makes roughly 2 years (page 2564)= 2 days.
At the tournament: After Uub goes to Buu, which was at the third day, right after the Majin rebellion, probably pretty late in the day. The third night of rest happens (page 2161), where U18 wonders where Uub is. Then we get the semifinal with Goku vs. Vegeta, the I'k'l incident, and Gast vs. XXI. The final follows shortly after, along with the Vargas’ award ceremony. We can assume that all of this happens in the late morning or around noon. Even if we’re being very generous, at most a single full day has passed by the time of the tournament final — while Uub is still in the middle of training with Juna. From the final match up to this current point, not much time passes either. And within that one day in which Uub is still stuck in the parallel dimension, a lot can still happen. Don't forget that the whole Majin rebellion only lasted like 20 minutes at max. The whole part before Majin Son Bra appeared, only lasted 9 minutes and 34 seconds, according to #16 (page 1556). It might feel longer for us readers, but in-universe, not much time passes.
We won’t be seeing Uub again for quite a while. So basically, what we see at the last panel of page 2161, is exactly what Uub is doing currently.
Madara was saying: I don't understand why U18 Vegeta didn't just teleport with Pan and the namekian. Why engaging to battle?
And where exactly would he teleport, if he can't feel anyone's ki?

Actually, fair point. The animation in the last panel we see with Uub shows the objects moving. Thought it was more just because they were going for some animation on each page, but honestly could be the results of a battle had sent them spinning in the zero g.
Technically it's a tine stop by I'K'L's own admission, just a time stop on 'living things' so both terms could honestly apply.
Piccolo holding Bra might match the outline and make the most sense. Send the (arguably) strongest fighter and the namekian most capable of defending himself. Not sure why he'd be carrying her though.

Looks too tall to be Uub. Plus idk if he could move in this stopped time thing. My first guess would be a namekian. Gast is the only Namek that could stand up to Vegeta, but idk if they'd want to reveal what happened to him just yet. Might be Cell since he can move in stopped time.

At the very least, we know Uub can move in the stopped time. Whether because of an ability or just not being present when it was stopped is debatable, but at the end of his chapter, we see him come out of the pocket dimension and wonder what happened. Might still be too tall though, but at the same time, he's been gone for a long time (for him) we didn't exactly have many height indicators for how much he may have grown 1 Respuesta(s)
Everyone pitching their universe/timeline theories. Based on the dialogue in the first few pages, Namek happened as normal, and likely Frieza already came to earth since that's where he actually 'died' and his dna was harvested for Cell. Gero was seemingly an oblivious idiot who ignored the footage, but that included SSJ trunks killing Frieza, and then briefly sparring with Goku, who went ssj. While we don't know where Bell's dna came from, that would be 2 saiyans gaining 'yellow hair' that the army would have seen. In theory, the only divergence from the main timeline here IS Bell and the gang (plus the Frieza force members in question)

Glad uncle Veggie came in with the save. As for what he's doing though... He was attacking someone who was actively attacking him. It's not like it was a cheap shot. Punching down, yes, and looks like U13 has snapped, but he was removing an opponent who'd just shown she could (Somewhat) hurt him, and sparing himself a 2V1 (Since the Namek doesn't seem to be actively fighting, probably too outclassed). It's not exactly an insane decision to take out the weaker fighter while you can.
This chapter is amazing so far though.

More just a reminder to everyone, the opening page has gorilla man say 'The saiyans are currently off planet' and 'Hard to believe this planet has inhabitants stronger then Lord Frieza'
So it seems Goku grew up and Namek more or less happened as usual, I don't think this is a 'Red ribbon won/rules the world' alternate universe. 1 Respuesta(s)

Given the hand movement, wonder if it's like Lizard Misty's 'air wall' instead of an invisible wall.
DB RED page 37
Hmm... Uub keeps saying 'WE' regarding trying to break out, but that was likely not in Juna's initial goal/programing from Buu. Actively helping him try escape in any way counting as 'training' seems odd... I wonder if Uub is just that convincing, or if she's somehow evolving as a being/construct and giving him more leeway
DB Multiverse page 2554
Wasn't original Cell's regeneration so dangerous because of the Frieza cells allowing him to survive insane hits, plus Piccolo's regen? I'll assume Gero got Piccolo's still, but without Frieza's, this Cell might not be able to endure the same amount of damage

This might just be me, but... The shading looks a bit difference. I'm wondering if this is some sort of illusion put on by XXI.
Though, at the same time, everyone looks shocked except Piccolo, who looks furious. I don't think this is the end of the match.

I feel like these andriods are weaker since gero made more of them so he couldn't focus his time on them
Plus, at least to some degree, these were all made without the Frieza and Cold DNA and study, since the last data this Gero would have was the Vegeta fight in the Saiyan saga, and then whatever Gohan and Krillin had post Namek. These weren't made stronger because they weren't needed, and he initially wouldn't have had the same data, IMO.
And to everyone being confused about his 'blonde hair' in the last few pages, I was never under the impression it was his real hair. I figured any odd movements from it were motion or his aura flicking it around.
I could be wrong though.
Honestly, I'm just confused about the ice. He broke the ice that was the borders of the dimensions, but how did it form around him after? I'd assume it was the void of space being cold, but it specifically says celestial ice in the void. Everything else just ceased to exist, why did ice form just around Broly?
I know on a meta level it's because he was found that way, but given what we've just seen, it's odd that he just ended up 'sealed' immediately like this, and that the Vargas could just thaw him out.

Good eyes. I assume the ouch was specifically because XXI started 'eating' his feet, so they're damaged right now.

Gohan recation was "he guessed he had one?" A foreshadow to this special chapter ig xD
490 also came out in Christmas, weirdly enough
It did not. And it wouldn't be "weird", just a mere coincidence.

Did according to the first comments on it, at least in my timezone. 2011, 12th month, 25th day
Well, that seals it. Either Gast is about to get controlled/switched with, or absolutely stomped in the smoke. End of the day, had to happen for the plot, and either would explain why he wasn't seen in any of Bardocks visions of the current future. But him emerging from this as the victor seems unlikely, and wouldn't lead to the stuff we know is coming.
Though if Mr shadows can possess or body swap, it could also explain what happens with Vegito later, as without Gast around, there is no one around who could stop Vegito (Via technique for Gast, as we saw earlier. In a brawl withultiple characters, even Vegito couldn't be sure to avoid that)

The lie sounds like they never tried to make peace or address with diplomacy.
“They’re evil!”
Is perception - much like why Kami didn’t fuse with piccolo in a previous chapter because the androids weren’t threatening the world directly only off perception.
I don’t think this is right at all. After all, Thorn doesn’t know the past, and can only catch Bulma in a lie with regard to her contradicting herself or obvious known facts. “They’re evil” isn’t a hard thing to claim when they themselves experienced #28 and #31 trying to kill them on sight, and when those same androids murdered a kid in revenge and went on a rampage.
If we assume the lie must be something we as the audience are capable of knowing about (not a sure thing) then I’d say the best bet is that they killed an android, and the implication that they did it through force, IE “we do have fighters among us.” Thorn can certainly sense energy, and distinguish the enormous power of #28 and #31 from those fighters. Still, that’s a stretch to call a lie when he understands so little of the context. I doubt it’s that either.

Honestly, there might be a time or specific biology component that we don't know of. We've never actually seen how long the process takes, even if 'perfected' that might be why Gero went the 'brain in a jar'route for himself, and used twin/siblings for his only actual living cyborgs/androids
I know he's outclassed, but it's weird seeing the fused buu just not get involved so far. While gogeta is stronger, supporting him with magic or anything else after the lead up is a bit odd
