I'm pretty certain Salagir will have Goku take the win, but I wonder if he's going to actually have them both pass out at the same time and issue a poll to have us, the readers, choose who the winner will be (of course, we won't know the results until 2, maybe 3, specials in between).
This would only work if XXI will easily kick their butt in the final, though.
Anyways, just what it seems likely to happen.

that is an interesting idea, depends on if the artist is willing to draw the conclusion while the specials are being released. iirc the pages may get drawn long in advance tho so it probably wont happen

Simply forgetting to file your taxes on anything that gets taxed before the deadline can count as tax evasion.

Vegeta's whole character arc involved him moving on from being this kind of person. Very few question his final destination being hell despite whatever he may have done to try to atone for his actions. Oh right right! Krillin and Roshi are bad role models because Roshi is a pedophile and Krillin is his accom-Vegeta killed children!!!
And not only that! he bragged and taunted the namekians about it!
And yet, a lot of fans still view him as role model. If he gets a pass for this, then so does Krillin and Roshi. The standers are already this low, being a pervert is normal in Dragon ball. xD

It's not something a teen should be able to do, especially an impulsive one. She's not seasoned enough a fighter to mentally & emotionally adjust to the hits she's taken and calmly focus on the fight in front of her, imo.

Honestly it feels to me like she's overthinking things as a result of what's happened in the past day. Compare this to past fights when she may have still planned some things out but was relatively more impulsive

Also, can we talk about Pan's power versus Bra's? Trunks and Goten were able to turn SSJ really young with little training because their daddies were lowly SSJ1. Bra is almighty because he daddy was fused. Why does having a MYSTIC daddy mean so little? Plus, her mom was leagues stronger than the other moms.

Given the way she performed against Bojack, I'd say Pan is about Cell Games Goku level which is still probably stronger than Goten or Trunks at the same age but not comparable to Bra at all. I guess giving her SSJ2 would diminish Bra's prominence a bit even though it would add an interesting aspect to their relationship when one can control her full power form and the other can't.

This has the exact same scaling as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber so 1 second out there = 6 minutes in here, Buu should have enough time to figure something out before he's gone
Oh yea there's also the 10 minutes in between him being trapped and getting teleported back so that is another 60~ hours to teach Uub more.

But, he can travel within his own universes parallels, and absorb many more beings AND CREATE OTHER UNIVERSES WHERE A TOURNAMENT WORTHY FIGHTER MAY BE FOUND.
Here's my call. Ik'l, the unborn fighter, is actually an incarnation of Zen Buu, his way of getting back into the tournament. If true, I'm going to theorize that Zen Buu didn't realize this because either he didn't bother to investigate the baby, or there is some sort of magic cloaking the baby Buu, making it seem like something else.
Because think about it. If this is true, the two same-but-different Buus wouldn't be able to resist trying to absorb the other and gain that much more power.
If somebody else thought of this first, well then shit, you beat me to it.
Also, I'm probably wrong here, but I'm still calling it....
U15 is a "future" universe (Page 700). If Buu is to travel back in time to create U15, he has to somehow prevent the arrival of Future Trunks in the new timeline he create to make it "future".

There is an infinite amount of parallel universes so all Buu needs to do is look for some where Trunks never came in with a time machine. After that, he just needs to sort them out and find one where Cell kills Trunks for his time machine.

For plot purposes Buu will probably never get it perfect but he will get it well enough to achieve something close to what the Vargas can do. From here, Salagir can have him return whenever he wants, which would be after the main story if he doesn't want to involve Buu within the plot anymore.

Not really. The assessment of the Varga is quite simple and non ambiguous. It was a way for the author to tell us that nobody can master the technology of traveling across dimensions.

Except Future Trunks' universe is explicitly shown to be a separate one in DBM, and his time machine was still able to travel between his universe 12 and 16/18. The FAQ on this very website notes that time travel is a way to travel between universes. It's relatively limited but still a way, and it's not a safe bet to assume that Bulma was the only genius scientist that Buu absorbed. Not really. I know Salagir and co need some justification for keeping Buu away if this really is the end of his involvement in the main story but this part should be addressed if they're running with this one.

This is contradicted by Bulma being able to create a similar machine that allowed for Trunks to travel between universes, and she happens to only be one of the presumably numerous scientists that Buu has absorbed. All the Vargas can really conclusively say is that their specific technology only works for their specific universe, and they don't even know why. 2 Respuesta(s)

That's still before he mentions that he won't use magic against them, and it looks like she's 90% done with the final step. Given how the Vargas seem to have been preparing this specifically for Buu, they probably starting thinking of this plan right after Buu's first rampage.

I'm not trying to dispel your statement, it's just irrelevant. Buu is probably too arrogant to consider them a threat so he's not going to read their minds to look for any plans of stopping him. He still has another motive of reading their minds, which is their understanding of inter-universal travel.

Either they were still working on it or they hadn't started yet. Freeza also blew up the building seconds after all the majins revealed themselves so both the backup and main unit would've been gone.
Given all the scientists that Buu has probably absorbed and the established fact that he's tampered with the technology already, it would be very weird if Buu didn't have an idea for how to replicate the Vargas tech.
This plan also isn't the kind of thing the Vargas would think up recently, they were probably already implementing it right after Buu's first rampage. Even if Buu didn't think they were a threat, he still would have great interest in figuring out how the technology worked and should've picked it up fairly quickly through reading Vargas minds while the tournament was ongoing. 1 Respuesta(s)

The infinity of scale, for example, if you're dealing with numbers like 10 or 100,000,000 then something like 6.22*10^128 would effectively be infinite, but it's not. You can calculate that number and you know it's finite, but if you had 1 grain of sand of that number then you would have more earth-sized planets than there is stuff in the universe. The second type of infinity is dimensional. The common example would be a 2d plane that stretches on forever, but if it were to be taken to a 3d universe it would basically not exist. Or if you create a cube out of the vertices of a cube, take that and repeat it in a fractile pattern connected edge to edge forever. This shape is infinite and in 3d space, but by this definition, it would have no mass or volume with an infinite surface area. The 3rd type is just true infinity. All options, no matter how irrational, this thing must not be a thing and is instead infinite, all dimensions, all possibilities, all measures, any conceivable way to make it not infinite must bend to its definition.
I say this because these 3 types actually apply to a lot of things, but importantly; things that are invincible. If Broly is currently the first type then all you have to do is overpower him or trick his power with an exploit or even better hax. If it's the second option then once you outclass him you'll instantly kill him. It's like Jenga or a house of cards, these structures work well vertically but if you poke them from the side then they fall apart. The 3rd option is obvious and might just be what the writer wants to say right now, but it's the worst option of the 3. It's like the classic omniscience card, can God create something so heavy that not even God can lift it and as true infinity says, it is yes. How does that not contradict god being omniscient, it doesn't because omniscience allows god to literally do anything.
This includes lifting a thing made so heavy by god that not even God could lift it, but god just lifted it. Is Broly invincible enough to survive anti-invincibility? Can there be a thing so piercing or destructive that it can break through true invincibility? What happens when an immovable object and an unstoppable force collide? Probably nothing, but wouldn't it look cool!
It seems like your 2nd and 3rd types are both just different ways to describe an uncountable infinity.
You should watch Vsauce's video on infinity. None countable infinities are weird and almost become like the countable infinity and the finite numbers because of how you make them infinite. This is until you make a truly infinite number and then you do it all again.
Also, the 3rd type and the 2nd type are basically the same things, yes, but the 2nd type is a constructible infinity. The 3rd type is an irrational infinity.

Bra isn't a good kid, but Vegito isn't a good dad. I don't think people like her at her age are entirely the fault of upbringing, but Vegito's "parenting" certainly didn't help.
I felt pretty satisfied about Vegeta's treatment after he was beaten by Krillin and Gohan, beaten by Zarbon, beaten by Recoome, beaten by Frieza, tortured in hell after his first death, beaten by Android 18, beaten by Cell, beaten by Fat Buu, tortured in hell after his second death, and finally beaten by Kid Buu. You could explain Bra's mentality through her being abused by Vegito, but this is a fairly recent development that should've at least been hinted at in earlier chapters.

I like to believe that Vegeta and Cell both intentionally kept their Majin curse so they could keep the power boost, and since Bra didn't want it in that moment of clarity she removed it.
And as far as age goes, I would use it as an explanation but not an excuse for her actions.

Yes, we've seen that Vegito hopes this for Bra. I'm assuming he's told this to her but I admit, I don't remember that being stated by him directly to her in the comic. Again, I'm sure it has, I just can't remember and hopefully someone will point it out to me.
But regardless, how does Vegito's desire for a good fight correlate with her lack of morality and inability to control her powers. We JUST now got a glimpse in "strict daddy Vegito" and it was plot convenience fluff. Have we seen him treat her harshly through training? Push her too far? Pressure her?

EDIT: as for reserving judgement until the end... Why? I mean understand from an extent, somethings in life won't ale sense until you see it through to the end. But this comic has gone on for 10 years. Do you expect people to wait another 10 to pass judgements on whether they like it or not?
Anyone suggests these judgements are premature is being disingenuous. It's been 10 years.
I and others have at least offered possibilities that this situation with Bra can be improved. But as it stands, what we have seen, what we currently are seeing of her character and what it likely spells out for her character moving forward... Isn't promising. We've followed her story arc, we've received "word of God" from Salagir.... We have enough evidence to pass judgements at this point.
Edit: at BEST Bra is a character with an arc that started to progress way too late, and therefore will have minimal pay off.
What was the point of Ginyu stealing her body? Bra didn't learn anything, she was asleep. She was also back in her own body 2 minutes later.
Ginyu didn't learn anything, he's back in Cold's body.
You can write out Ginyu being Cold and it wouldn't make a difference.

So yeah, not really all that in depth.

eh there's also that more recent development that her dad told her to her face that he'll kill her if she can't control her power in due time. No pressure. I would make it less jarring by having Bra's relationship with Vegito be more tense if only in private, but there's a bit more to her angst than high potential and expectations.
So there's now some extra context as to why Bra killed Zangya. It wasn't just taking revenge for the death of Pan, it was her trying to get catharsis against the people who gave her what we know to be her first humiliating defeat.

Or are repeating this scenario?

If she had that much Vegeta in her, then she would've never been majinized

It depends. Does it need to succeed to count? Cause they used teamwork against Nappa but it didn't really work.

They stood around while Tien and Chiaotzu needlessly sacrificed themselves instead of jumping in to assist. Then, they depended on a 5-year old kid as their trumpcard in a fight to the death, which worked about as well as you'd expect.

I think that just shows how much he wants a wish from Porunga, when he has finally won the tournament. Whatever this wish might be, because he seemingly has his own set of DBs. His dragon surely must be nerfed in some way.
Also just a reminder, guys. Do not forget the title of the chapter. They are giving away awards between the semi finals and the finale. So no rampage (yet)! :D
I feel like the whole "vegetto rampage" is just a red herring that won't actually take that much to resolve. For once, organizers can just send him home like they did with Buu.
This is possible but the strategy used against Buu still depended on the return button being pressed at some point. Vegetto could simply teleport to and destroy every input device that the Vargas use before they get the chance to do this. 1 Respuesta(s)
