Probably not evil, but misdirected due to magic. Assuming there's gonna be a reason for Gast not being able to take him down like last time, I can't wait to see a potential Ultimate Vegeta

I can imagine some over-the-top scenario of Radditz unlocking his full potential and reaching the level of Ultimate Goku, with the possibility of a Potara fusion between the two brothers granting immense power. Maybe XXI is trying to get rid of this possible future or at least delay it.

I'd say the most powerful magic we've seen was I'K'L's time freeze. It would be interesting to see whether or not Zen Buu would somehow be immune to that though.

Gast staying alive is probably going to be key. Firstly, XXI doesn't absorb his energy and magic and now Goku is probably going to be given every possible tip on what XXI is and how to defeat him. Gast might even teach him some plot armor technique because I don't see how Goku doesn't lose in a second. XXI can literally send him away just like he did to Vegeto.

The funny thing is that Old Kai insinuated that he knows who XXI is but then the panels humorously shrugged it off in page 698. Maybe he will recognize this form and give us a better explanation.

Losing Roshi in these DBM storylines is like losing Alfred in DC stories. They literally are what our heroes are made of.

But why assume that everything that happens in DB is also known by the reader/viewer? The anime and manga often have time skips that last several years. Things actually happen during those years, characters meet and interact with each other. Baba has probably met Goku's son during a time skip, she might had even met him before the start of DBZ.

If I remember properly, the Androids don't 'scan' like the Z-fighters do. They have data based on what Dr. Gero was collecting until the Freeza saga. Goku was doing exactly the same when training with Gohan for the Cell games, staying in Super Saiyan for as long as possible to get better ki control and less stamina drain in that form. There's many reasons why Gohan isn't getting stronger. No Zenkai boosts, no motivation to unlock his inner potential, no proper mental training, insufficient training intensity etc. Also it could just be plot-related.

Not at all. Goku was shown to be a training mentor 3 times. With Gohan before the Cell games, teaching fusion to Goten and Trunks and with Uub. We don't know much about how he trained Uub but he was very serious when training a teenager Gohan in the HTC and with fusion.

I think Vegetto meant that he never got to actually fight in this form. There's nothing challenging for him in U16.

Bra never said that their movements were too fast for her to follow. She insinuated that she was not expecting them to go all out immediately and by the time she actually paid attention to the fight, she missed half of it.

Although it's too early to say since we only have speed feats, ultimate Goku and Vegeta are prob not SSJ Vegito tier unless the Ultimate boost is the same as UI. Everyone needs to understand that Vegito is written to be ridiculously strong.

SSJ Vegito was toying with Broly (before he powered up) who was a Universal buster at the time (it was told in U20 story). In my opinion neither Goku nor Vegeta could stop Broly even in their Ultimate forms, but nothing is certain until we get more info.

Until you consider that DB has its own universal physics and rules. Instant teleportation is way more farfetched and I don't see anyone calling it stupid.

I'm fairly sure Goku didn't go all out with Uub so we might see something new in this fight. I'm guessing he is winning this (sadly).

I understand the effort to show character development, but this isn't how she gets redemption. I could go on to predict that she will sacrifice herself to save someone like u18 Pan or u16 Gohan once Vegito starts stomping everyone.

Well, the thing is that Zen Buu has presumably absorbed every interesting organism in his universe. This includes beings that are strong, intelligent, magical, artistic etc. He knows everything about everything. Also, great numbers make a lot of difference. Imperfect Cell was much weaker than the androids but after absorbing a few hundreds of humans he became stronger than them. Now imagine Zen Buu absorbing billions or even trillions of planets, many of which being much bigger than earth (which also means stronger gravity and thus, stronger beings on average). Lastly, it's hard to estimate how fast magical beings can improve in the world of DB, magical power differs from physical power or ki power.

It's not probable, but it's possible.

I'm thinking that Zen Buu, being probably the most intelligent fighter here, is influencing Vegetto in a way. Or Vegetto is simply being a sore loser and wants to win a tournament (plus he wants to kick Gast's ass for putting him down before).

Interesting..so maybe Zen Buu had an actual motive that the Grand Kaioshin could understand. I think this is backstory time.

I'm thinking XXI gets this fight judging by how easily Zen Buu was trashed when he tried to peek into XXI's room.
