I don't have any problem with Goku losing so quickly, unlike most of the people here, since it fits the story ao far (most of XXI battles ended in short time).

To be honest this has become boring. Nothing really happened and it's too repetitive: they get 1 punch, fall, it looks like it's over but they get up, give 1 punch and so on. And the pacing is really slow, every page is just one punch.

I don't see any reason why Goku would be so much stronger than Vegeta.
Honestly I expected a fight much more clever with techniques (hopefully new) but in the end it was just "GOku's is stronger because of plot" and the only technique that we saw was the Instant Transmission which only Goku used for some reason although Vegeta knows that too.

I really don't understand the point of this chapter. It doesn't have any impact or the story or reveal something new. I understand sometimes there's a need to fill the time with side chapters while Salagir drows the main story but this artist is very good! so why not let hime moving forward in the plot?? I think we should have seen the story of this universe (at least some of it) long time ago. For those who didn't understand the joke - in Rome digits XXI means 21 so the joke here was that guy just read chapter 21 in the book and then moved to chapter 22 (and that's why the bald guy realized it has NOTHING to do with the character).

So the only way to stop Buu was to use original characters and some out-of-the-story way. It's pretty much like 4th wall breaking (I mean in the samy way Buu could just have been killed by Toriyama who suddenly would have been showed up).Not to mention that even according to the story Buu should be able to be resistent to those kind of tricks since he can read people's mind so he should have been anticipated it.
It was better just not to make Buu so strong in the first place. Also the way it ended makes this whole Buu saga total futile.

Up until now Vegitto haven't had any problem to fell Buu pieces that can be seen to the eye, like their fight in space. So it feels a bit as force plot twist 3 Antworten

it's amazing how much the creators of this manga enjoy dragging it. Event after 10+ years they don't have any intention to speed things up.
I mean it's obvious that XXI will solve this situation eventually but instead of showing him (despite he hasn't moved at all after his battle ended) we get a look of literally ANY other character, including the crowd and Cell JR, so the creators can west a few more weeks.

First the auto adjustment for magic (WTF?!) and second Buu losing so easily when we know there are still other parts of him.
C'mon there is a limit even for plot service.

Guys of course XXI won't die - he's the main antagonist and we don't know anything about him yet. However it doesn't necessarily means we will win. Buu is strong and he losing without any damage to XXI will be too predictable. My guess it propably will be like the majic arc when babidi went crazy after he lost. Then the real story will happend. I don't know of the tournament will even continue after this match. probably it will, but without those 2 characters.

I think XXI is Shenron himself. Maybe the namekians ask Sheron to give himself freedom, in sort of Aladin version.

P.S: It's funny that Buu says he won't give XXI a second of respite. Vegetto said the same thing and what did he do...?

Anyway I hope that now this fight will develop to something more interesting than this run-and-catch game.

it's not foolishness. It's pride and that's what defines Vegeta as a character. Without that it's like Goku who doesn't like fighting.
Also SS3 will be unique because Vegeta U18 still hasn't shown it.

To be honest the story in this page really sucks. First it's run-and-catch game without nothing interesting. Secondly (and worse) it's not Vegeta's attitude to run away, not even as strategy This page is not loyal to the original characters and I feel it's a pure writing. I hoped something unique will happen at this match (like Vegeta turning SS3) but so far nothing.

It didn't work on Vegito because he has also tatic. Broly however is just raw power with no thinking

finally broly's chapters are done. Honestly they were awful. The whole strory didn't make sense. First how's that nobody have felt his energy on his way back to Earth if he's so strong?? Secondly, Buu could have defeated him easily with multiple ways: he could have changed him to a candy, absorbing him or just finish him with the 1000 diffrent attacks he knows.Also he could teleported him with just a part of his body because one of Buu's magic is dividning himself. Lastly Broly surviving black hole is foolish even by DBM standards. Honestly DBM became some foolish Sci-fi story. And worst of all the last 2 chapters were futile, they were so slow (the whole first one was just about Broly's back to Earth) and in the end, we still don't know how he ended up in the ice so probably there will be another chapter in this storyline.
It makes me suspect the authors are dragging this purposely. Why? I thought they don't make money from this. 2 Antworten

I don't care about Bra killing other characters like all the crying kids over here. I just got bored from this battle. It's just too long! If you release one page every time then the plot need to move faster than a manga, otherwise you will never finish. I mean how old is DBM already? 10 years? And we haven't even got to the main villian in the story (which is obviously XXI).

This fight is like final fantasy. They were 8 on one but they attacked in tours and that's why it takes so long. For example what gohan and the ultra girl are doing now?

I actually create an account just to say this: this fight drags way too much. It just repeats the same thing. Bra is far stronger, the good guys manage to hurt her somehow and then she is healing. And it goes on and on and on... c'mon just finish with this storyline! It's already 3 years with this saga!

Hopefully now Bra will kill them all. This battle really need to end, in one way or another.
