Raditz cannot attack innocent people, but fortunately remotes are not people nor do they have a moral compass. So Raditz can probably destroy it and maybe gain a little time.

That's the same Varga who got mind-controlled by Babidi, right?
So XXI
1. Probably has some mind-control power too
2. Is aware of Elder Kaioshin's moves
3. Is making move to prevent getting sent back
Or... this is just a red herring and this Varga is legitimately trying to be nice to make up for what he did. 1 Resposta/es

Cell seems obedient... for now.
I hope we get more than just a fight right here right now. It was said on Page 32 that Cell was "threatening the universe" so maybe he gets overwhelmed by Gast (with the help of Gohan) so he escapes and goes on a rampage throughout the galaxy, leading to a future encounter. He was easily able to hide his ki and fly under the radar in the main universe... Or maybe I'm just overthinking. 1 Resposta/es

It wouldn't make sense for him to be Trunks.
1. It's very unlikely that he exists at all in this timeline.
2. If he did, he would be much younger than that.
3. "Captain Chicken" had dark eyes prior to his transformation (like most characters), while Trunks has light "caucasian" eyes in his base form.

Probably not, as there's no lightning. The fact that he got Super Saiyan at all is quite surprising, SS2 would be quite a stretch I think. Yet, he does seem a little overpowered. My guess is that he was modified, somehow. Maybe by Gero himself.

No. Roshi said himself during the 23rd Tournament that all of them surpassed him, that would include Yamcha.
If XXI could simply raise his power or abilities with a wish, I think he would have done it a long time ago... Which makes me think he needs something or someone at the tournament for his wish to be granted. Like Vegetto maybe?

There could also be awards for most raw power (Vegetto vs. Broly), for defeating an enemy who had more raw power (Goku vs. Uub), the most even fighting (Goku vs. Vegeta), most damage dealt, most ingenuity, subverting expectations, etc.

From a literary standpoint we need XXI to win this fight so that we can have a main hero versus main villain finale. Goku versus Gast would be less interesting than a mystery villain with interesting powers taking on our main protagonist in a battle for the multiverse.
So as I see it we have two options for how this plays out:
XXI wins and we get the obvious final fight of the tournament.
— OR-
Gast wins and something interrupts the final match, forcing the two to team up to overcome without a definitive outcome to their 1v1.
The second option happens plenty in Z/Super.

What if... Hear me out... Goku ends up fighting against BOTH Gast and XXI? Like, XXI finds a way to control Gast the same way he used Janemba. This way, Goku gets to fight against a strong "friendly" opponent but also the main villain?
Are they giving awards between the semi-finales and the finale? Because if it's after, this feels rushed as hell.

Well, too bad. I really enjoyed this comic overall. It perfectly captured the DB spirit while expanding on new characters. Most DB fan-made mangas (and Super) try too much to stick with the characters and time-spans we're already familiar with. DBZ, GT, etc. were always about the next generation.

That's it, Namekseijin Densetsu is finished!
Started in 2014 and finished initially in 2016, concluding part 2 of the story, I decided to resume this story years later to conclude Piccolo's story.
Having made the manga 321Y in the meantime, I decided to make this third part a sequel, both to Namekseijin Densetsu, but also to 321Y by involving Tambo, a character that I really like.
I hope you enjoyed reading this story, even if I am far from having a high level of drawing. I put all my heart into this story.
With these last pages, we arrive very far in the future of Dragon Ball. About 600 years separate us from the end of Dragon Ball, I wanted to show with this ending that even if the danger is always present (whether it's Bracaa or something else), Piccolo will always make sure to be able to defend the planet Namek, from his hands or from those of his successors.
After 561 pages, this fan-manga is coming to an end and I'm quite happy to have been able to share it with you.
Early 2025 will see the beginning of my new fan-manga. I hope you'll like it!
Thank you all for taking the time to read my pages and talk about it with me here or elsewhere, thank you to Salagir for allowing me to share it on the DBM website.

Since this timeline diverged from U18 in Year 762 (10 years ago), Gero's plans may have gone a slightly different way. These could be different #19 & #20, or #17 & #18. Maybe they're #11 & #12, and Gero is still alive?
Also, keep in mind Cell has to stay in his embryonic form until 788, so no time soon. And he wouldn't have any Frost Demon DNA either. I think the best would be to drop him, but he was mentioned early in DBM, so I don't know what Salagir's plan is here. For this to make sense, we'll probably get a quite different Cell here.

Personally I would have replaced Raditz and Nappa by:
— Bojack's gang (they all died on the same day so why is Bojack the only one here?)
— Babidi (probably useless, but still has magic...)
— Dabra (I know he's in heaven, but Enma is pulling the strings and this comic is literally about travelling between realms)
— Yakon? (he's somewhat strong and was able to cancel the Super Saiyan transformation, though it probably wouldn't work against a Legendary transformation)
— Dr.Gero/#20? (no idea if cyborgs keep their technological enhancements once they died, but it would have been a nice addition to the group of villains)
Since Hildegan was a mindless beast and Cell Juniors were child-like, I assume they got purified pretty fast.
I also assume any villain with significant power who died more than decades ago has already been purified by now.
I don't really have any criticism. I don't mind the comic and the drawings definitely got better. The first few pages were fine, but proportions were a but weird on some of them. 1 Resposta/es

This WILL be an interesting fight, as Gast and Janemba are both roughly SS3+-tiers. But we know Janemba has some weird-ass powers.
I think I know why Janemba exists in U5. In the movie, he was created after the purification machine got overloaded with too many souls. If XXI killed everybody in his universe, it makes sense that Janemba was created then. That's the same reason I kinda hope/expect to see him at some point in the current Broly OVA special. @About whether this is a vision or not.
There are arguments for and against. I'll try to list them with counter-arguments. Lemme know if I forgot anything.
It's a vision
— Argument 1: Kakarotto and Vegeta were shown during IKL's rampage so the special couldn't have happened before that.
— -Counter-argument: Maybe Salagir messed up the timeline. There is a precedent for that.
— --Counter-counter-argument: I don't think he did. The only mistake regarding the timeline is when Raditz was shown alive on page 1514 (just before Raichi's rampage) when actually he was killed by Piccolo Daimao way before that. The reason this happened is because on the script it just said "have Vegeta with a bunch of Saiyans" and BK-81 decided to include Raditz, not knowing he was supposed to by dead by then. So I wouldn't really say it was Salagir who messed up, rather it was a lack of communication between artists.
— Argument 2: The blurry panel on page 2359.
— -Counter-argument: It could simply be a time skip, and not a vision starting.
So I guess it could be either since there's no precedent for this type of panel.
— Argument 3: It's a flashback chapter. If all this really happened, why make it a flashback chapter? Only the first 4 pages are a flashback, the other 20 pages literally happen AFTER the main story? Seems weird.
Not a vision
— Argument 1: It could be happening after IKL's rampage
— -Counter-argument 1: That would be a weird decision to show a chapter ahead of time.
— -Counter-argument 2: Ok, but why is Vegetto in a good mood after what happened to him?
— --Counter-counter-argument 1: Bad writing. But this argument can literally be used any time for any situation. If it can't be substantiated nor debunked with objective elements, I don't think it has any meaning.
— --Counter-counter-argument 2: Maybe some things have happened between IKL'S and Kakaditz's rampages and it will all be explained and it will make sense? Like, maybe Uub is coming back too and the way all these stories entangle together, maybe it made more sense to show this chapter before? I don't know.
— Argument 2: There is supposedly one page left in this chapter.
This means either:
1. The rest of the fight is shown in a different chapter, which means it's probably not a vision, as their story continues on.
2. The long and tenuous story of the evil Saiyans of Universe 13, who defeated plenty of enemies and finally learned stuff from their good counterparts really ends on the next page? That would suck ass, seriously. Their story is far from over.
3. Zen Buu is simply lying about the one page left.
Personally I've been thinking for the most part that it is a vision. But I'm not so sure anymore. My money is still on it though. 1 Resposta/es

So the evil Saiyans of U13 have been inspired by the good Saiyans of U18's way of doing things. That's unironically kinda cute.
But while Raditz's statement is true, how does he know that? Is he referencing to Buu's rampages, during which our heroes barely stood their ground the 2nd time? Some of them definitely helped each other during the Majin attack, but I don't think Raditz saw any of that. 1 Resposta/es

My money is on Nappa as the last man standing.
Unless he pulls a Paraguss and tries to escape while the strong guys fight each other.
That would be interesting. They all fight each other till they're near death. Then the slaves and/or citizens spot them and decide to finish it once and for all.
Having the weak, common people defeating evil would make it very different from other universes, as it's always heroes and strong guys who defeat villains (or the opposite). 1 Resposta/es

Good thing he is immortal so in practice he would only be out temporarily. I think Vegeta is fatally screwed here even if he beats Kakarotto and Raditz now since Kakarotto can just come back with his immortality and get his revenge before Vegeta is fully healed or healed at all (not counting the rebellions that might take place if they find out that Vegeta the tyrant can be beaten if they see Vegeta in such a pitiful state, at least those can get messy on him as well if he can't cement his position to his subjects as an invincible lord).

Raditz is no good guy, but I'm hoping he will get a good ending here. He and Yamcha had been the jokes of DB all these years. Now that U9 Yamcha finally had his moment, I hope U13 Raditz will have his too. And this U13 Raditz actually cares for his brother, unlike the "original" DBZ Raditz (U18) who wouldn't hesitate to kill Goku.
We all know about Yamcha's curse, but Raditz's curse is even worse. Not only did he lost on the 1st round, every subsequent winner lost his next fight. Raditz was defeated by Baddack, who was defeated by Ginyu, who was defeated by Bra, who lost to Gast, who I'm certain will lose to XXI, who I'm pretty sure will lose against Goku. The way I see it, he's the biggest loser in the tournament. At least Yamcha lost to the winners of the 21st and 22nd tournaments.
Hello Operator estava dient:
I DO wonder if the potential unlock that Raditz got transfers over to Kakarot when they fuse. If so, that would explain in part why Kakaditz is vastly improved over his previous self. I would also say that, to be completely fair, with as cocky as Raditz is, the hardest fight he probably ever had was against the Goku/Piccolo team up. We honestly do not have any clue what his "potential" is as he has only fought significantly weaker opponents up to this point and has never had the chance to excel.
This is U13 Raditz, not U18's. Not only did this Raditz trainded with Kakarotto (going from 1,200 to 5,000), he then fought on Helior and got beaten by Zeeun (Lors Slug's gang), getting additional zenkais. The next thing we know is they fought Freeza on Namek (though we don't know who fought who among the henchmen). Then he boasted about being stronger than the Ginyu forces during his fight against Baddack. And he fought surprinsingly well against the Super Saiyan. I think Raditz has been treated unfairly when it comes to power. Not that many Saiyans have even reached that level (not even Nappa, I think).

Thank goodness XXI can’t use the Mafuba!
It's possible you just accidently spoiled XXI vs. Gast's fight.
Even if this is real, Kakaditz is doomed. Remember Vegetto's hunger problem? Even with Vegeta's empire at his disposal, I doubt it'll be possible to satisfy him. While he won't die, keeping his full strength and not constantly suffering will be an issue.

Since Hell is involved and billions of people are being killed throughout the universe, I hope a Broly vs. Janemba finale is not off the table once everyone else died.
They're not similar concepts. Vegetto's technique disintegrates, while Carbonite is a chemical transformation, which is not a very common theme in DragonBall. Since we have no idea whether that technique would work or not, it would be up to the author.

And yes, the technique that can kill Buu should absolutely be able to work on Broly because Carbonite is able to and has killed him in another Universe (3). Carbonite works on a similar concept as Vegito's technique, by reducing the matter to its basic form (atoms).
The only reason this will not work is because Salagir's Broly is a poorly-written-bag-of-hacks and covered in a thick plate of plot armor.
Just look at this special: alreadt we have some of the warriors not engaging because they want to live in heaven in peace... as if they don't know that even Otherworld is not immune to what happens in the living realm. Surely the Kais would tell them if Majin Buu threatened the Universe AND Otherworld, then surely Broly does as well. Only plot armor makes our heroes make this dumb decision.

Also, Kaditz is just chilling, having tea. Does he want to talk or negotiate with Vegeta, or just taunt him?

I think out of all the possible fusion names for Raditz and Kakarotto (Kakatz, Kakaditz, Kakitz, Radotto, Raditto, Radiotto, Radarotto), Kaditz is probably the best one.
Mystic (or ultimate) form is the absolute max one can reach. Meaning the Oozaru form wouldn't make him stronger. It might actually even make him weaker in a way, since his density would be lower. Think of when Piccolo turned into a giant during the 23rd Budokai. Ended up being a burden more than anything else.

In saying that, Raditz's progression is still really impressive. Remember he went from being lower than Frieza's first form to being close to SSJ2 Vegeta's overnight. And, that's not factoring in his Oozaru form! If he takes the earrings he'd probably fuse with Kakarot, most likely using deception or forcing it onto him. He'd be well above SSJ3 Prince Vegeta, and may even pose a threat to Vegito, plus he'd be immortal/half immortal on top of that.

as others pointed out in my previous comment, it's probably true that this is either raditz's maximum for good, or the elder kai is just lying to get him to fuse with someone (most likely kakarotto) and become a truly powerful champion: ultimate/mystic powerup, mental block from doing evil (most likely will work for stabilizing kakarot's insanity in the fusion), and of course the fusion itself. also thanks to zen buu powering up kakarotto earlier we know he is still fully in control of his oozaru state even after years of lacking a tail, and although U18 vegeta detached it, i'm inclined to believe a fusion where one saiyan has his tail remaining would end up with the tail anyway, and with both having the eye lamps, kakaditz will most definitely be on some level equivalent to buu saga super vegito or potentially greater due to kakarot's stabilized mental state allowing them to fight with a clearer mind and the ultimate powerup bringing out both raditz and kakarot's maximum potential in the fusion, and of course the oozaru form will boost his power beyond normal. old kai doing some RPG item and stat optimization tactics with the potara mechanic lmao
by DBM standards, like we saw in U13 Vegeta VS Raichi, the super saiyan forms are each in a realm of their own, so much so that the only way a super saiyan can ever match a super saiyan 2 is if their base power is so vastly different, something that seems to be achievable only through fusion and the offspring of a fusion, so his oozaru state will most likely be a greater boost than just x10, you have to account the fact that SS Oozaru exists in DBM, and then apply the old kai powerup to the oozaru form as you would SS for kakarotto's oozaru. so we're definitely looking at a form with a greater multiplier than just 50x or 500x

Well, this makes sense from a writing perspective. If Raditz was stronger than Vegeta AND had no time limit in his new form, it'd be too easy. It needed to be balanced to be interesting.
DrewSaga estava dient:
Either way, this is most interesting development still, who does the Old Kai intend Raditz to fuse with? Surely not U13 Kakarotto, the insane clown of U13.
Actually, it makes perfect sense. If Raditz had been able to easily get rid of Vegeta, he'd still be left with an immortal lunatic who'll remain a threat to the universe.
If Old Kaioshin did put somesort of blockade on Raditz's mind to keep him non-violent or something like that, as some of us have speculated, fusing him with Kakarotto solves the problem. Now there's only one warrior left, immortal and with the mental blockade.
And not telling Raditz that the fusion is permanent until it's done would most definitely be in-character for old Kaioshin. 2 Resposta/es
So Tsuru Sennin is still around and Tambo's father is his disciple!
Now this makes sense. If Tsurur Sennin and Roshi were Mutaito's disciples at the same time, they would be around the same age. So it's not hard to assume they were both immortal in DB.

It said "an hour ago", but is it an hour before I'K'L's shenanigans, and is Old Kaioshin just re-watching events from the day before? Or is this special happening at the end of Day 3, and the chapters' releasing order was changed?
It couldn't be happening during Day 4 because Goku vs. Vegeta Round 1 was literally one second lol. Round 2 couldn't have been more than a few minutes at most. Bubbles was saying: @about Frost Demons' power levels
How strong are they exactly? We don't know for a fact (until we get power levels, if we do), but here are a few infos that we know are DBM-canon:
— DB is set in the late 700s, during which Freeza and Coola are in their 200s and Cold in his 700s.
— This special is during the early 500s, so Cold and his brother are probably in their 500s or late 400s, so considerably older than Freeza and Coola, but still younger than Cold when he died (duh).
— Frost Demons become stronger with each generation, but we don't know by how much. Like, it could be 3% as well as 60% for all we know. Let's say it's about 10-15%.
— According to Salagir, Frost Demons' power doubles when they transform (it's true between reduction forms, but I don't know if it applies between 3rd and 4th forms).
So if Cold and Polar are in their original form, they should be much stronger than Freeza/Coola/basic Super Saiyan. I know their final potential is lower than Freeza's, but I doubt it's by half. So unless they stick to restriction forms (which is possible, since Cold still struggles with it centuries later), they should be at least stronger than Freeza. But still below a cyborg, because Cold barely reaches that level centuries later.
Now, what about Snower? He's obviously stronger than his sons, but I'm not sure how old he is. Can anyone who's familiar with Hanasia fanfiction or the Frost Demons' genealogy tell us what is Snower's age?
After a little research, here are the ages that Hanassia's novel gives us, along with my deductions about their power levels:
Year 503:
Snower: 1.039 years (estimated level in its final form: Cell semi-perfect content).
Cold and Polar: 556 years (estimated level in its final form: A17).
Year 764:
Cold: 817 years (deductible level: A16/Cell imperfect maximum power).
Cooler: 209 years (deductible level: intermediate between Trunks SSJ (first time travel) and Goku SSJ yadorat).
Freezer: 194 years (deductible level: Frieza lol, well this is the mecha, who was totally confident of being able to beat Goku SSJ alone, so a level higher than that Goku but lower than Gohan SSJ of the future is correct).
Based on this information, we can assume what biological period all the cold demons seen are in.
Snower would now be a middle-aged adult, bordering on seniority, while his children are currently at the end of their youth.
While Frieza and Cooler from the Namek saga to the multiversal tournament would be very young adults.
And since they are only separated by a generation, I deduce that Polar at his maximum power could stand up to Lapiz.
Michelrpg was saying: And based on the arms we can see the frost demon here is in a repressed form, so realistically there's no way they should be able to handle Bido here.
It is debatable, after all, not all cold demons share the same physical patterns as the others, you just have to remember Cooler's bull form, the only relationship he had with his brother in the same form were the cuerns.
It is for this reason that I am sure that this mysterious hooded man is Polar in his final form.

I like your estimations, but I always pictured Freeza and Coola as being teenagers (in Frost Demon years), like about 12 & 14 when they died in DBZ and 13 & 15 in DBM. Their constant petty arguments and especially Freeza's attitude make me believe that. Their size, compared to their father's, probably helped cementing the idea in my mind.

Exactly. The Kaioshins will kill them in Year 507 (page 554) and this is Year 503. So it's probably happening in U1 & U10 as well.
Maybe we'll see the split at the end of this chapter or the next one about Bojack (while I believe Salagir said there was another one being done, I'm positive he was trolling we he said there was 2 more on the way).
Now, why have the Gods waited for so long when they're supposed to be pro-active in that universe, or why haven't they eliminated the Frost Demons before (won't happen till Year 712) is anyone's guess. 2 Resposta/es

True, but Raichi is tampering with the balance of the multiverse by intervening in worlds he has no business messing with. Though given the genocidal nature of U10 Saiyans, much like most Saiyans though U3's was far worse as you mentioned, it was fair game. But one has to wonder if Raichi could do this, why not U4 Buu?
Only U1 beings can "control" inter-universal travel. Nothing keeps Raichi or anyone from getting on a ship and hitching a ride.

So was the text on the speech bubbles on the DBM pages in bold text and this page isn't bold text or different font? Feels a bit off from the regular pages. But I do appreciate them adding new content to the main story as well such as Raichi eliminating U10 Saiyans (even though really he should butt out, I doubt U10 Saiyans could pose any danger to the universe anyways, especially with the Kais involved)..
The speech bubbles on the added pages have more space between the lines. The Latino-American Spanish version does too, on every page. Don't know why.
This shouldn't be a controversial opinion, but I think Raichi did nothing wrong. These Saiyans might not be too dangerous yet, but they could be at some point in the future. He doesn't know the Kaioshins are watching everything in U10. In U3, they clearly didn't. I really hope there'll be a special about that in the future (unless it's shown on the next pages). I welcome any special that's about Raichi or his ghosts.

I wouldn't say it was, since it didn't happen in the manga. The novel has too many contradictions to be considered truly canon. The way I see it, the novel is to DBM what the DBZ anime is to the original manga. Everything that is in the former but not the latter is just fillers. 1 Resposta/es

Vegetto's and Pan's reactions were nice and all, but I really wanna see Cell's.
I agree. Even the longer fights seemed quick in comparison to the original manga. Majin Bra vs. everyone seemed long, but its lengths was simply closer to normal.
This fight really is epic and I'm glad Salagir decided not to rush it. I can't remember a fight (not just DBM, but anything DB-related) that shows how exhausted and at the end of the rope the fighters are. The amount of blood and sweat has been steadily increasing with every page and you can really feel the characters' pain.
I only wish he'd done the same for Goku vs. Uub because that fight was hyped to be the ultimate one at the end of the manga. Although an out-of-tournament rematch is probably not off the table, since both have greater powers than what they've shown last round (Goku having Max Form and Uub training at the moment).

Remember, those people have the opportunity to read over 2000 pages at their own leisure. And indeed, with the exception of the gag fights & the handful of very well staged battles like Vegeta vs Raichi, Vegetto vs Broly, Cell vs Dabura, etc, the fights don't seem long enough imo. I'm really glad it's really taking its time here.

Saiyan-Arc: Vegeta wins -> 1
(Goku is essentially incapacitated and is literally saved by Gohan, Krillin & Yajirobi)
Boo-Arc: Vegeta wins -> 2
(Even though, Goku would have won de jure with the SSJ3, de facto he was unconscious on the ground and Vegeta was not)
DBM U18 Special: Vegeta wins -> 3
(Similar to the Boo arc, both fight only in the SSJ2, and again Goku does not use the SSJ3. In the end, Vegeta wins the honorable SSJ2 duel).
Perhaps it is due to the false memory syndrome of many people who believe Goku actually won each of their fights. However, it may also be because many just want to express with such statements how much they would like to see Vegeta win once in a fight against Goku, with both giving completely everything and not holding anything back and without any intervention from others.
(But then you should say it like that and not write confusing comments that make others think that Goku once won a fight against Vegeta.)

On page 1806, Goku states that the last time they fought, he used SS3 and it ended the fight immediately.
Just because it hasn't been shown to us doesn't mean it didn't happen.
So we know for a fact that they fought at least 4 times (I'm guessing a few times more) and Goku won AT LEAST once, possibly more.
Prediction: next page Goku teleports behind(above) Vegeta and kicks him in the neck, sending him towards the beam. Vegeta gets pierced or even decapitated. FATALITY!
Just kidding, that would be very un-Gokuesque of him.
We don't acutally know if the Saiyans really get weaker if they're still not old (not before their 80s I think). If there's anything, it's possible Vegeta has a slightly higher potential because he's a little older. But he was held back working for Freeza for so long.

I'm loving this art and this fight so much. It's some of the best of all worlds in this entire series and I'm lapping up every bit of it. I'd do the Dance of Respecting Mastery and Brilliance, but alas I'm just a comment section poster - I'm also fat lol.
I'm also looking forward to when mondocool finally narrates the completed version of this fight. We're close to the end now, but I have no idea how close. The first chapter of this fight is 32 pages long. I know there was a preamble and all of that, but it's still among one of the longest chapters in this whole series. This page is just #21 with 25 being a typical length. So 25-32 (or possibly longer) is possible. That means that this fight may not even end this week. It'd be great to read other participants impressions and thoughts on the whole fight, but I have a feeling the I'K'L finally being born is going to cut that very short.
This fight could go either way from what we know so far now. I want to say that Vegeta is still going to win somehow, but I'm betting my zeni on Goku. It's the most minute of observations and advantages that usually allows for Goku to win his tougher fights or to at least show some kind of dominance. He has multiple within this fight and outside of it that may be enough for him to just barely claim victory. I don't think it's brought up enough, but Vegeta is older than Goku. I know that as a saiyan he gets to stay in his prime until right before he's a super old man, but there has to be some kind of minor age-related penalty on the physical side when compared against someone of similar capabilities.
Vegeta is the first to voice the need to move beyond his current limit and that would mirror when he was the first one actively focusing on ascending beyond super saiyan. Great idea and since he's matured he actually hit the right path on his own this time around. Thing is, he likely unlocked super saiyan 3 first. I'm guessing that with Goku already having that form that he got to practice with and understand this ssj0 form first that they're using now. It may be why he's been more reluctant to use ki based attacks in this form while Vegeta has initiated them far more often and while expending far more energy doing so.
Vegeta has burned through so much energy during this fight and that may end up being his downfall. He started off so great with that beautiful elbow to the face combo. He's been putting on more heat and pressure, but he's been surprised three major times now. The after-image, the IT to grab his leg then wombo-combo him and now this concentrated kamehameha that has pierced then dissipated his final flash for a potentially upcoming and devastating blow on the next page.
The jury is still out on whether Goku actually forced the dissipation or if Vegeta decided to slyly let it go so that he can try a last minute dodge and counter-attack combo. Vegeta does favor using ki blasts more than Goku in their historical fights while Goku has always liked showing off what the unification of body and spirit can do along with his (stolen) techniques. Vegeta may finally get the win with 'Vegeta's Attack' here. Then again, Goku's last resort headbutt could be making a show here soon if the back-and-forth continues. Either way, this is a good fight and I'm enjoying it. No one should be mad with whoever the winner is, this is a pretty good showing.

Roshi is perhaps UNIQUELY vulnerable to Lan-Fan
Krillin doesn't have as many saves as Goku so Giran tosses him out.

As for who would win the tournament overall, I think the final would be Giran vs Namu. We have no reason to think that Giran would be swayed by Lan-Fan, and I believe in Namu's discipline in resisting Bacterian's uh... "techniques" and beating him quickly.
So then the question comes down to whether Namu can defeat Giran.

I'm taking all this back. All 4 of them (masters and pupils) will lose!!
Kulilin is not strong enough to defeat Giran and his stupid gum attack.
Roshi has only one weakness... 'Nough said. And as Kulilin has already been eliminated, he no longer needs to humble him and doesn't have to take the tournament as seriously.
Like many of you pointed out, Yamcha unlike Kulilin, has a nose. And he has Yamcha's Curse; he cannot win the 1st round.
Son Gohan will read Nam's mind and be touched by his story. Following the trend and having faith in Nam, he'll concede.
Giran will easily destroy Lan-Fan and Nam will defeat both Bacteria and Giran, saving his village. He was a pretty strong fighter and a cool hero after all.
Seeing how they all got eliminated early, Kulilin and Yamcha realize they still have a long way to go, encouraging them to keep training.
Anyway... Either all 4 of them win or all 4 of them lose. If some of them lose and some win, I don't think the 2nd round would be as interesting.
