I gotta be honest I really like how this played out lol. Like, no matter how this fight would have played out, there would have been so many people pointing out the flaws of either character because they've already been established in DBS. And to top it off Goku vs Vegeta is not a "What if..." scenario. I can kinda understand people's anger at missing out on Bra vs Gast (I personally loved that too lol), but this kinda all makes sense to me. Looking forward to seeing how this keeps progressing, and, if the rumors are to be held true, how this is all gonna end

Buu wins here. Since blasting him towards the sun never works, the blast him off in the opposite direction. With him using up his focus to maintain LSSJ form, he doesn't notice the encroaching cold. He freezes while in LSSJ form, and the Buu spits all the fighters back up. Then, when the Vargas come to their Universe, the greatest power they can find is Broly.

Which would also mean that they are screwed from Broly getting sent back from the tournament. ...<.<...>.>... 1 Replie(s)

I apologize in advance for any points that have already been brought up, I can't read the entire comment thread but got about a third down skimming lol.

It's a little upsetting so many people refer to "canonical" Vegetto. This version is an entirely different person than we've seen in the series. He has been existing for I think 18 years at this point. He's been raising a powerhouse of a daughter for 16 years, and the last 4 years dwelling on the fact that he may have to kill that daughter. It makes sense for him to snap here.

That isn't me agreeing with his opinion though. Goku is in the right for telling Vegetto to calm down because now Vegetto is taking the "too powerful a threat" title away from Bra. He is acting on his anger instead of doing what needs to be done out of his sense of justice. He's angry from missing the action, from a magician getting the better of him again, for his daughter losing control, and for not being there to stop her (different from just the action). To be the universe's greatest hero you can't allow yourself to stoop to acting on anger. That's what he's been trying to teach Bra. Him acting this way is a sure way to show that Bra's anger issues didn't just come from nowhere. He was also shown giving into his anger on page 1234, when Bra was 6. He completely gives up on fathering her, which of course would only lead to further anger issues with her.

Bra's behavior makes sense. Vegetto's behavior makes perfect sense.

ALL of this makes sense, and I am loving it.

According to the 2 sources, Bra was either born in year 778, or 780. DBM takes place in year 794, which means Bra is either 14 or 16 years old. So I've been a longtime reader of this series but am only just now making an account cause I've been reading through the comments and I gotta say something. Everyone is judging Bra because "even Vegeta didn't get fully mind controlled", but y'all are forgetting that Vegeta was, what, 50something at the time? Whereas Bra is a child. Vegeta didn't get his redemption arc until he was way into his adult years. He was a terrible person. Then we also have the fact that Bra also has Goku's genealogy in her, which makes her competitive to a fault. There's a reason they show Kakarotto as being absolutely insane, and not just from his slaughtering the humans. That anger was there in him, and it's there in Bra.

In the flashback Bra really didn't have time to take in what she did before falling into the despair. She couldn't remember any of her actions, the first thing that really stands out in that memory is her father's anger. This time she's able to actually see the destruction first hand, and not on a grand level of a sun going supernova, but on a personal scale. She betrayed her friends, she betrayed her family, she betrayed the faith in her. She finally understands what Vegeto was saying. She finally understands that she has no control and that she is weak.

I know Vegeto is gonna come back angry, and he very well should. But damn the anger from the real human beings in this section is crazy.
