Thats obvious; to have a clear release date for pages and chapters. If Asura for some reason is unable to work (sickness, holidays etc), it would mean the main story is delayed extra. So it helps to have a backstory on hand. Some of these stories were completed years ago as well.

Admittedly I dont care too much for Bojack either, but the last special on him had great artwork. Sadly Bojack is so underwhelmingly stupid it doesnt help the story.

I just want to see more of the non-saiyan universe, where Yamcha got turned into a cyborg etc. Because thats gotta be an alternate story for the ages.

I wouldnt be surprised if Cell is lurking around somewhere. He's not under XXI's influence, and I doubt he'd be dumb enough to willingly serve someone who eats entire universes. By all accounts, Cell is immortal as well (well he doesnt age), so odds of him encountering XXI would never be zero.

So Im a bit confused about the info of this skill. Its mentioned that this skill is "extremely lethal", and that it turns the wielders power into electricity and captures the target in an electric prison.

Oh no, what a predicament. Good thing nobody around has a teleportation move they can pull off and instantly move away anyone else as long as they hold them.



Gotenks knows how to transform into a SSJ3, which gives him a massive powerboost. However his base power is so laughably low by Saiyan standards, even in fusion, it ultimately doesn't make much of a difference. It's hard to put measure on him in his adult stage, but when he fought Super Buu in his kid years, Buu literally used him just as entertainment because he could sense Gohan's strength far away. Neither Goten nor Trunks have likely put any sort of training in recent years, beyond their dads giving them light training, so beyond their bodies aging they likely didnt get much stronger. Vegito mentions that with Bra reaching SSJ2, "Even Gohan cant stop her anymore", implying that Gohan is still stronger than Gotenks is. Which is an adult Gotenks by this point.

The SSJ1-2-3 multipliers are massive, surely, but they can only do so much. Case in point; Radditz, who was at best around Ginyu-squad levels, in his Oozaro form, managed to smack the shit out of Bardock who was a SSJ. Sure, Bardock still won, but he still took hits from an oozaro. SSJ1 Goku on Namek probably could have dodged all of that simply because his base power was better than Bardock's.

Tl;dr: Base Form power decides how strong the final power output is with transformations. Not the transformations themselves. Prince Vegeta vs ghost Broly was simply a miscalculation on Vegeta that happened to work out because A) this Vegeta probably trained a lot, and B) this Broly wasn't powered up. He kind of forgot how he had to power up just to PROTECT himself from the other Broly's rampage when the latter fought Vegetto.




this is straight up wrong. In the manga Vegeta already concluded that the offspring of a Saiyan and a Human produces a powerful hybrid race. Nappa even suggests they could "rebuild the Saiyan empire" with them, to which Vegeta immediately responds "Dont be stupid, do you want a bunch of brats running around stronger than us?". This would apply to any human-saiyan offspring. So it applies to Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Bra, and perhaps even partially to Pan (likely to a lesser extent). Goten and Trunks likely have as much untapped potential as Gohan does, but they never got their potential fully unlocked, so they simply remain way weaker. Given how easy it was for Trunks/Goten to unlock the SSJ transformation as kids, it's safe to assume that the stronger the Saiyan parent is, the stronger the offspring potentially becomes. Bra on the other hand, is the offspring of a saiyan warrior who was created by pure magic, making him the strongest creation in the universe. His base form alone is unmatched. There's no doubt she, as a hybrid, would automatically become substantially more powerful than anyone else, if it follows the DBZ established logic and patterns.




Again this is entirely wrong. Majin gives you a powerboost, it doesnt increase it to its maximum. If this were the case Vegeta would never become stronger past his SSJ2 form he had in DBZ.



Except she trained with Vegetto from the time she was a child, so assuming she started at age 5, she has 11 years of likely hardcore training done. The girl is jacked. Yes, she was always stupidly strong, but "no reason" is simply wrong; stronger saiyan parent, lifelong training, maybe the potara messed with the genetics too, maybe she had aliens train her as well. We simply dont know. I agree she's stupidly strong, but there is zero reason to assume that she has none of the stuff you just mentioned.

The characters are treating her like the powerhouse she is. Goku already established SSJ1 Bra was stronger than he (and thus Vegeta) is when she fought Zangya. I dont like saying this either but if Bra would go full toe-to-toe with Vegeta it would be a onesided slaughter and an overwhelming victory for Bra. it was really blocky at the start of this chapter to the point where I was wondering if someone else made it and Asura's name was accidentally placed on it. Very different style.

However the last 2-3 pages softened it a bit in some spots, and now its a bit of a combination of the old and new style.

But admittedly, I did prefer the older style since it was really the best DB art I had seen online. But I cant fault Asura for wanting to have his own distinct style either. 1 رد (ردود)

U18 Vegeta really has bad luck with his arms.

Even if somehow he managed to return to this universe, which he cant (because only universe 1 beings can travel between universes or allow it to happen), Vegeta would absolutely clobber the crap out of him. It took the combined effort of Yamcha, Tien, and a max-Kaioken Videl to take out the weakest Cell Jr (with a Majin Boost). Yamcha wouldn't stand a chance against Prince Vegeta in SSJ2 or SSJ3 state.

okay, in before Prince Vegeta reverts back to his normal state.

1) he took way more damage than U18 vegeta (headbutt, the kienzan block)
2) he also seems to be exerting way more power and wasting it (kienzan block, the attack on Pan, being on the offensive yet being pushed back)
3) U18 Vegeta is way stronger to begin with (though Prince Vegeta might have received a boost in power?), and U18 has to fight conservatively. 1 رد (ردود)

Well... I guess at one point a power differential does become too much. Krillin could still injure Freeza, but he couldnt injure Perfect Cell (though I always believed he simply regenerated too fast for Krillin's Kienzan to hurt him).

Incidentally... what fun. IF Prince Vegeta hurts or kills Pan... this will be the second time in 2 days he's killed by another Vegeta.

Its kind of strange to see Asura adopt a completely different artstyle. Its more unique, but also very different from the style he had earlier was was incredibly close to what I imagine DB/Z looks like had it evolved further.


That said... yeah I know Prince Vegeta believes he has the upper hand here.... Im also assuming he is not aware yet of the issues with SSJ3's stamina drain, since he hasnt experienced it yet (he did during the Raichi fight, but he was also severely wounded so he might attribute it to that).

Man, if U18 Vegeta would fight this solo, he'd have a f*cking field day.

Its true that Gohan is stronger than he is while fighting to protect. But mind you this is also the same guy who blew himself up for the sole reason of stopping Majin Buu, a direct threat to everything he knew and loved.

not necessarily. We know they are looking for it and found it on earth. Implication being they might still visit Earth and slaughter everyone, and then just leave.

I liked this special, but I still question why in the hell Gero would send his actual physical body over to Bulma and her HQ, after he found out all his spare bodies were so easily hacked. He had no other androids? No proper backup in case his spare bodies were compromised.

I normally would attribute this to just arrogance. But Gero had been in control for over a decade, had an army at his disposal. He didnt even bring backup with him. Dunno, it just feels a bit dumb for the character.




The core had nothing to do with Freeza. Him being able to survive in space was related to that (as well as his durability). I dont see how this would relate to freeza. Freeza didn't have a nucleus or anything close to that ability. 1 رد (ردود)

Oh man, the artwork for future trunks' gf/wife is amazing. And the NSFW pages are actually hilarious to see. My dude deserves the happiness presented here, esspecially after the way DBS completely shafted him and his universe (I loathed the Zamasu arc in every way)

She's a fictional character who is roughly 16 but may as well be 24. I like the fanservice, and I like the shapes/curves. Honestly people need to tone down the fake morality on a comic character. She's not even in a topless picture or a lewd or even mildly suggestive pose. Its underboob, deal with it.


Also, I like the unique style to the picture as a whole, it's different but doesn't detract too much from the character. The only criticism I have is the weird bubbles which seems a bit out of place.

Im... missing a lot of context all of a sudden. Im sure its going to explained but nothing of what is happening here makes sense; Gero being automatically dead, Videl being alive (or at least conscious), Bulma claiming she did all the hard work, Bulma being snarky towards Thorn, the comment of being nosey...

You telling me that in the span of what must be at best a handful of minutes, he managed to get dressed, find the exact area and find the lab? This man must possess his own version of Instant Transmission.

whats crazy is that Gero probably designed those energy absorbers with the power of a SSJ in mind (Gohan). So you have something that can absorb enough energy that is capable of destroying a planetm but it can still overload? Thorn is a tech sorcerer.

considering Goku wiped out a vast majority of the red Ribbon Army, and #16 was based on his son and relatively late in development, AND that Gero made later androids to target Goku specifically... I'm not going to say goku killed Gero's son, but I WILL say it's not exactly a zero percent chance.

That said, the Red Ribbon army was still an army set out for world control. Gero was a villain for working for them, and so was his son, and so was his wife. And there's no way they didn't know what the red ribbon army was about either.

Just gonna say if Piccolo was here he'd be very disappointed in Gohan's taste in women. Didn't even dodge.

Not weird at all. She probably grew up with the stories of who the people were that made up Vegetto. Nobody but the ones in the afterlife, Hercule, Baba, Goku, and Buu were around to see Vegeta's "redemption" as he fought his best to stop Kid Buu. Her own dad was formed when Vegeta wasn't entirely redeemed yet, and there's a good chance Vegetto himself thought very lowly of Vegeta and Goku because they were both weaker than himself. And for all we know Bra perhaps grew up with conflicting stories about Vegeta. Afterall, the very last thing Vegeta did in public before dying in her universe, was mass murdering spectators at a stadium and challenge Goku to a fight only to sate his own need for a fight.

Sure, it's likely everyone was informed on his fight against Buu and Super Buu, but there would always be somewhat of a lingering remnant of doubt about Vegeta's actions, and Vegetto's hot temper certainly comes from Vegeta and not Goku (who could do no wrong in the eyes of anyone of the main cast).


Bra not trusting Vegeta, and maybe even looking at him in disdain is not weird. Always remember; anyone NOT from U18 is looking at U18 through the eyes of people who are not familiar with them. Bra does not know them, and have no reason to trust them. And of course, the reverse is also true; nobody probably trusts her either (well maybe the Gohans but... they're a bit TOO forgiving). Honestly this will be interesting to see these interactions.

On a personal note, Im actually happy the tournament is over. I never expected the tournament to be anything beyond an opening scene/story to set up the main story and now.. we're getting there. I just hope to see some characters return who were moved back to their own universes in the past (save for the ones who got killed obviously)

Also, Vegeta is right. Going back to their own universe won't solve a thing. Sooner or later XXi will devour their universes. Might be a million or even a billion years from now. But it will happen. May as well try to face him while you have most of the most powerful beings of all multiverses around to help at the same time.




There's no doubt for me that this group will gather as many allies as they can find; Kaioshin's if they are still alive, any remaining Namekians, Uub (somehow), and of course the Vargas because they would have to go to some universes to pick up anyone worth recruiting (Buu perhaps?).

Anyway, the reason people don't seem to know about the capsules probably comes from the Ocean Dub (the first english dub) which censored a LOT of DBZ content. One of the things censored/removed post-Saiyan saga where Bulma/Roshi etc gathered the bodies of Yamcha, Piccolo, and Tien to put them into capsules (Chiaozu was a jigsaw puzzle). It's not "headcanon", thank you. It's logical thinking.

This Cell is weaker, as he is already missing several cells: King Cold and Freeza, two exceptionally powerful fighters who also had excessive durability. Whatever Androids he absorbed, assuming he had to absorb any to begin with, likely weren't stronger than U18's androids. Hell, they likely werent even stronger than Future Trunks' androids; Gero had no reason to make them that strong considering Krillin was considered the strongest resistance fighter (Gohan was conidered dead from a young age, unless Bulma specifically lied to Gast... which would make no sense if his survival was common knowledge). All in all, this Cell would literally have zero reason to even come close to the power of U18 cell; the androids were weaker, there was never a super saiyan to analyze, just humans. Even if some odd reason Gero wanted Cell to become way stronger... there's no reason for him to be that strong, on top of that he has nothing to compare it to.


Yes, King Cold is nothing compared to -mainstream- cell. But your logic on headcanon powerscaling works both ways; we dont know how strong this cell is. I only see plenty of reasons why he would be weaker, not why he should be equal or stronger. But King Cold when he appeared was still the strongest opponent that Gast faced. And this was a Gast who did not have any training yet; he came to exist when Freeza appeared, he took out Cooler not long after, and beelined it to King Cold soon after that. This Gast still trained afterwards. And sure, his power might not have increased by that much (which is your headcanon), but it still should have increased. And even without multipliers, timeskips in DB/DBZ still allowed characters to grow a lot in terms of power.


And again, finally... this cell split in 5, reducing his power by 80% for each Cell we see. Even if Cell at max output would be equal or stronger than Gast, theres no way a powercut THAT drastic would hurt Gast by this point. I'll give it some leeway on this being the Kikoho which has extra power due to it taking life energy.. but even then, thats a stretch.

The point remains that if THIS Cell at 20% strength can severely injure or harm Gast or give him a fight, then at 100% this shouldnt have been a contest. On the other hand, if Gast was equal to, or stronger than Cell at 100%, then this shouldnt even tickle him. 2 رد (ردود)

I really try to not get into powerscaling.. but I just cant imagine that Gast, who kept up with his training, is struggling against a Cell at 1/5th power, who is alread far weaker than mainstream cell, esspecially after he just emberassed King Cold in his 4th form.

When you think about it, Multiform is the most useless form against any opponent that is close to your strength. Honestly even in DB it served NO purpose since Goku immediately noticed how it cut down Tien's strength. The only thing I can see it be useful for would be one duplicate falling behind and using stuff like Solar Beams or kamikaze attacks.

We know Gast ended up beating Cell. But I'm pretty sure Krillin, Gohan, and the others all die here. At the very least Krillin and Gohan, because they would absolutely join this tournament in hopes of getting a wish. Them not being here is "evidence" enough for me that they died. 2 رد (ردود)

Im not too worried, I never expected Goku to win this. I expected either an interruption of the fight, or a full out victory of XXI. Strong as goku is in his focused state, this is STILL a magician who was able to prepare a device to fight android 18, lock Vegetto in another dimension, was able to seal away Buu etc.

Frankly... Im starting to think that he didn't "ask" that shadow figure for advice, but actually just wished for the way to defeat 18, and likely just repeated the wishes for his other opponents.

Either way, nice development. Curious how this plays out from here. Im a bit surprised so many people expected Goku to win this though.

2) even if it did work, Goku and Vegeta's fight, the first part, was over in less than a second. If Goku is sent into that other dimension in his transformed state, he'd be able to prepare himself and break out nearly instantly.

Thats actually HUGELY disappointing for me. This universe, unlike the gag universe, was a story wildcard and I loved that stuff. They barely interacted with the main tournament and participants. They had great fights by themselves, but ... yeah.

Not gonna lie, I feel like I just watched another season of Supernatural where you have this really interesting character be in the show, steals the spotlight in their scenes, and then has the most sudden and unceremonious death possible.

Yeah, I really would have enjoyed more interactions between them and other characters. The Videls, maybe Krillin and Goku some more. Yamcha and Future Trunks talking about Gero. Hell, more Bulma would have been great too. 1 رد (ردود)

It wouldnt be farfetched to think he'd offer gifts and boosts that would somehow influence his targets. Maybe he picked up the idea from Buu.

Look, Im not going to say this will 100% bite him in the ass.... but WHY would he even eat this.

Vegetto was shown to be very intelligent in the manga/show, being a quick thinker basing his actions on his knowledge of prior events. Vegetto thought himself to be invincible yet he's been humiliated by magicians at least three times now. He even took damage and was at Buu's mercy after the Broly incident (he was weakened enough). He knows at this point he isn't indestructable, unbeatable, or immortal. There is Zero reason for him to accept a gift from a seemingly untrustworthy opponent who uses MAGIC, something Vegetto KNOWS he is susceptible to.


It doesn't matter if this ends up not doing anything. This was dumb. I'd go so far as to rank this as dumb as the Androids fighting Yamcha, and the chapter where kid kakkarot beats Master Roshi off-screen in a cave.

It's almost as if he's unable to handle magicians because he doesn't know magic. but for the record:


l'k'l > could have killed everyone except the androids and Mary Sue
Gast > beat Vegetto
Buu > beat Gast (and honestly the entirety of the people present, minus XXI)
XXI > beat Vegetto, Gast and Majin Buu


Yes Vegetto got stomped by those four, but its not that unexpected: Buu has the power and experience of hundreds of thousands of absorbed people, LKL could literally stop time in a way that was unprecedented, XXI seems to so powerful that he easily got rid of Buu and Gast. And while Gast may not be as powerful in strength as Vegetto is, his magic powers are undeniably powerful and good enough to hold him back. Theres nothing wrong with his losses. 1 رد (ردود)

I mean... this guy was implied to be evil for a long time. But we cant judge a bird based on just shadowy eyes and a black cape and sketchy demeanor. We're not avianphobes

Okay I actually dig this design. Of course, Gast should still roflstomp him, but still. Kudos to the choice of staying more to the "earth" imperfect/semi-perfect Cell and leave out the Frost Demon influences.

Well... I cant say I agree with his SSJ state, as it just doesnt make sense to me without further context. But at the very least he can't be stronger than Goku was when fighting Freeza at this point, so this will be interesting. And Gero must have had very limited info on the Saiyans as a whole, not to mention the powerscaling should be very much in Gohan's favor.


Since Gohan never had his powers unlocked on Namek, these androids should be able to be on par with him. But.... Gast should be able to wipe them out within seconds, because there is absolutely no way any of these androids are around the Ginyu or 1st form Freeza level. Let alone 4th form Cold level.

I still maintain that is Master Roshi in his full power mode. Damn krillin stole his shades and never gave em back!

if this is Gohan in SSJ form Im going to have to call major BS on it. Neither Gohan (or Goku) would have any knowledge about the super saiyan transformation, and they would definitely not be at that level of strength either. It took goku training at king kais planet, a handful of zenkai's, and training under 100x earths gravity, AND a major emotional burst to reach SSJ. Gohan might have had the emotional burst but there's no way (no location) for him to undergo that sort of training. And Goku didn't even do the 100x gravity training in this universe.


Super Saiyan should simply not be a transformation in reach in this universe, save for Vegeta who did reach it, and he's not on earth. 2 رد (ردود)

How many canon Aliens did we have on earth before the Namek saga? We had Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo.

Piccolo died and wasnt revived. He is canonically dead here since no dragonballs exist at all anymore to revive him. Meaning Chiaotzu, Yamcha, and Tien are also dead.

Now they told us Goku died of the disease, and Gohan was killed. Thorn mentions -1- lie. So either Goku is alive (but he doesn't fit the physique), or Gohan is alive. Im banking on it being gohan. Though Im assuming he dyed his hair or is using a wig because theres no way he turned super saiyan here in this timeline.

It does not explain how Gast did not sense Gohan at all though if it IS him.




1) trunks was born a year AFTER Freeza came to earth
2) who would the father be? Gohan would be too young and Goku was dead at that point. And Vegeta would not make sense in the slightest in this particular scenario either.

He ranks at least in the top 3. Dont forget not only did he win a tournament, he was the undefeated champion for a long period of time at that. For basic human feats, he is a powerhouse in his own right.

He certainly is among the strongest martial artists in the world, if we disregard the main fighters from DB/Z. Its kind of weird how Videl or Gohan never taught him how to fly or use Ki properly. He definitely should have been able to learn the basics of that. 1 رد (ردود)

Okay, well that explains who he was talking to way back when he blasted floating-head-Buu into pieces.

Seems this tiny dragon has only a small recharge time too, considering he summoned him a day prior. So Im guessing he wants more powerful wishes? And if these dragonballs work here, he either stole them from his own realm or... he's a (corrupted) Namekian? Maybe the evil part of a good namekian like King Piccolo?

he used underhanded tactics, yes. But he was also aware there was no way he would be able to overthrow Babidi by himself. He needed Gohan to be outraged. He could have killed the piccolo's and the Helioites easily, probably several more. He kept it to just the Videls, and well.... his strategy did pay off, because Gohan immediately decided murder and violence was an acceptable conclusion. And that was before he even knew about Bra.

I always loved the juxtaposition (sp?) of Videl and Gohan. Gohan had all the strength but loathed combat. Meanwhile Videl loved martial arts and was a fighter at heart.

I love Videl in Super. I like that she's a down to earth woman there, who focuses on her family. After her beatdown, death, and introduction to the Z warriors and later on becoming a mother, I am totally fine with her saying "ok fighting can take a backseat". But I would have also liked to see more of her teenage years/early relationship with Gohan where she still demonstrates being a capable fighter.

So a Cell without Super Saiyan DNA, no Freeza/Cold DNA, and his strongest cells came from Saiyan Saga Vegeta.

yeah Gast should be able to stomp this guy. If anything, this Cell should be weaker than 4th form Cold, and by a considerable margin.



And I say "no super saiyan DNA", because gero already had Goku's DNA by this point, there's no reason to get it again, and without further threats there was no reason for Goku to ever go Super Saiyan. Vegeta also never came back, so... lot of information is lacking. And while Krillin poses no threat, Gast would absolutely clobber the hell out of anything Gero throws at him. Even Perfect Cell.

Wait so.... those androids could detect engines and such, but a hub that likely consumes way more power than most remaining human cities went virtually undetected?
