Not sure I like this twist. If I understand this correctly these events are supposed to fill in the time between Frieza and Android Saga's. So a humbling this early doesn't quite make sense when that was 17's job. Or Vegeta's just stupid.

"Don't feel guilty for having lived!", That is actually the perfect message IMO for Goku at this moment. It also helps carry his flip from end of Cell saga, "my existence brings threats to the planet" to his "I'm back at the end of the Buu Saga". Really ties the original narrative together.

So either Broly somehow survives... again... Or maybe we get to see the consequences of their battle and the chain of events it takes on the universe. Likely the former, hopefully the latter. Maybe both.

I think the page at a time is killing this chapter for me. Think it would feel less drawn out if read from start to end in a sitting, but waiting days in between isn't doing the work any justice. Not that there's anything that can be done about it. Guess I'll go touch grass or something.
