An impressive conclusion. I hope this episode becomes canon in Dragon Ball Multiverse. And I’d love to see a scenario where, if Porunga were ordered to summon the Potara, Vegito would make an appearance.

This episode sticks surprisingly well to the original Dragon Ball power level. Fusion Dance is way weaker than Potara, has a strict time limit, and back when before Dragon ball super, most people agreed that Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta was much weaker than base Vegito.

If Vegito had shown up instead of Gogeta, he could’ve handled things just fine in base form, and the moment he turned Super Saiyan, Broly would’ve been finished instantly.

People are misunderstanding something—Gogeta is far weaker than Vegito in the original story.

At the current point in Broly Final War, if Vegito had appeared instead of Gogeta, even his base form would be stronger than the current Super Saiyan 3 Gogeta. If he transformed into Super Saiyan 3, he would have the power to eliminate Broly instantly.

Right now, Gogeta is severely lacking in power, and Broly has already surpassed him. Even Janemba was born as a result of the aftermath of Gogeta and Broly’s battle, meaning that Janemba himself is likely stronger than ss3 Gogeta. That’s why Gogeta was injured simply from the clash between Broly and Janemba.

The creator’s intention is clear: Gogeta is far weaker and dumber than Vegito, and even inferior to Broly. This means Gogeta is nowhere near the level of popularity that Vegito or Broly have, and his weakness aligns with the true essence of Original Dragon Ball.

Just look at how Broly’s power keeps rising infinitely, yet Gogeta, despite transforming into Super Saiyan 3, doesn’t even fight at full power and instead enjoys a chaotic brawl. This is a clear hint that Gogeta isn’t very intelligent and is far weaker than even Super Saiyan 1 Vegito.

So, don’t expect Vegito and Gogeta to fight in the main Dragon Ball M story. It’s never going to happen, and even if it did, Super Saiyan 1 Vegito would easily defeat Gogeta, even if he used a brand-new transformation from Goku and Vegeta.

Dragon Ball Final War serves as a major foreshadowing that if Gogeta and Vegito were to fight in the main story of Dragon Ball M, Vegito would effortlessly and decisively defeat Gogeta without any struggle. Moreover, it strongly hints that Gogeta is not even planned to appear in the main story at all.
