Eyebeams are really underrated. Practically speaking, it's the most accurate attack you can pull off if your opponent doesn't dodge, and typically it's a lot of power packed in a pinpoint package for penetration.

So if Vegetto wasn’t there, who else could beat Broly? Ghast could sap his power and maybe de transform him. XXI could teleport him away to another dimension. The Vargas could send him home. Bra could teleport him far away. Heliolites could use carbonite. Fat Buu could turn him into candy. Babidi could control him(?) Zen Buu has infinite bullshit and we probably haven’t even seen it all.

It seems he's aware of what MC (sorry I can't remember his name) is but he wasn't aware of their ability to transform into an Oozaru. If he did know then he would have known how to stop the form, it makes me wonder if he knows about Super Saiyan.

The weird thing about this is that looking back, Gast could have just used his magic to detransform Broly. Hard to feel he's a threat on a reread. After all, he's invincible to damage but he's not omnipotent and it wouldn't really be damaging him. That plus the fact that he can be "shocked" out of his Legendary state really makes it feel like Gast could have just thrown his hand out and would have been over in a flash.

Finally we are going to get Future Goku's perspective on all of this. Just out of curiosity was there a particular reason that Goku on the cover page of the chapter has his GT costume on?

You forget that Vegito wanted to be absorbed to try and find his friends and family. He went Super Saiyan only to make Buu feel like absorption was the only way to win. But he was far superior in just base.

No he wasn't. No indication of that, Vegetto was only superior in SSJ. Buuhan was likely 2-4x as powerful as Base Vegetto yet that's still many times weaker than Buu.

No indication of that? Vegetto was playing around with Buuhan in base. He went Super Saiyan to show him how he would never have a chance just in case he has any hope to make him feel absorption was the only way to win.

Rewatch the Buu saga or read the manga.


But that was only in the anime, in the manga the first thing Vegito does in the fight is to transform into a super saiyan, he never gets to fight super buuhan at the base in the manga, he only does that in the anime, if you doubt it just check Chapter 504, which is right after Goku and Vegeta merge.


Now how about you read the manga? As there really is no indication in the manga of how strong Vegito is compared to Buuhan.
