Goku Black being stronger (or at least seems equal) makes no sense whatsoever

Great art!
One gripe: U13 Vegeta having SSJ2 was unknown at this point in the comic, shouldn't he be just a SSJ?

Why wouldn't he Zamasu/Trunks fusion be powerful enough? That makes no sense. Goku Black maybe somewhat stronger than he was in canon, but "trunksmasu" should be waaaay stronger

I still can't quite understand why Nasu isnt wearing a Raditz/Nappa type of combat armor, the android saga Vegeta outfit seems... Off in a way
Saigo no Son page 99
Maybe Raditz is stronger than a normal South Supreme Kai but the latter is somehow enhanced by XXI, his eyes seemed strange on the previous page.

Lol, 28s RR hairclip was edited out in the chapter preview on the news page to not give away the surprise, that's funny. Anyway SMASH
To be fair, it was pretty obvious they were androids, given their eyes and 19/20'esque appearances.

oskarloko was saying: In the Trunks timeline, 17 and 18 destroy all humanity because they were former criminals and brain-damaged by Gero experiments; a sociopath behaviour fueled by their inmense power.
But Gero/20 wants to conquer and impose a tyranical goverment (R&R Army rebuilt) but not to make a total genocide.
Maybe these are 17v2.0 and 18v2.0
that's what I was thinking, it doesn't make sense for Gero to start genociding humanity, but then again, Gero was written kind of inconsistently in the android saga as it was, with him just deciding to randomly kill people then flip flopping about how activating 16 would risk the world. go figure
Anyway, i think its def some version of 19 and 20, the skinny silhouette seems to have a hat on.

I think Gero doesn't mind losing a city or two, but like you said he likely doesn't want to rule a planet-sized graveyard.
Let's just hope Broly doesn't asspull himself out of this situation. Realistically, he should be dead.in the tournament Vegeto SSJ initially had the upper hand, let alone what a Gogeta SSJ3 could do with stronger fusion materials.

It feels like DBM wants to round this thing up as fast as possible. Don't get me wrong, a suprise quick match was fun, for maybe untill the third time. Goku v. Vegeta was highly anticipated and it is over in flash.
I'm sure we will get some kind of recap, but the suspense is dead. Most of the time I've agreed with Salagir creative direction (except for the extreme Bra-wank post majin crisis) but I'm starting to get unsure where this is going...

Plot induced stupidity is going to net Broly the win in this universe. I wonder if there are other universes where these kinds of stupidities occured. Like Trunks trying to fight King Cold in base, Goku not wanting to use ssj3 against fat buu and dying in Ssj2 (erased from existence as he was already dead), or ssj Vegeta letting himself be drained fully by Android 19 to prove how strong he was until he realised too late what a shitty idea it was,...

Would be funny if Dabura killed Babidi and made friends with Buu in their own universe.
Dabura and Buu best buddies.

This is getting more cringy by the page. In two pages they will nominate Bra for the Galactic peace prize.

It' coming, the forgive-all for Bra.
First she commits genocide on a race of people, then she goes berserk as a majin.
She is unlikable all around, but now through some serious plot armor and sudden sympathies she will get away with it.
Kill her now to satisfy Bra haters and resurrect her way later to satisfy the Bra lovers.

In the Vegito/Bra flashback, we saw them standing in an asteroid field.
What if Bra blew this rock up, creating that asteroid field. Could explain Vegito threatening her in it.

Seems like Gorkor's boasts of being stronger than Frieza weren't entirely empty. It looks like Trunks had to turn SSJ to knock him out.

Some love for Nappa, great! It also means he has surpassed 15.000, which is a good zenkai.
DB Multiverse page 1718
Kakarot and Raditz use their lamps, Vegeta creates a fake moon for himself and Nappa. Could be interesting.

Mr.Mimixer was saying:
Nappa can't be 8k strength. Remember how easily Goku defeated him in the OG Z. And Goku at that time was just over 8k himself. If Nappa was also 8k they'd have had an even fight, not a squash match.
8k might indeed be a little too much. But his official 4k is just too low, looking at his fight with Goku. He took quite a few hits and was not seriously damaged (before the kaio Ken strike) and even managed to somewhat impress Goku when Nappa calmed down. A powerlevel of between 6 and 7k seems fair enough.

Arguvandal was saying: I Dislike the use of Lord Slug for U13. It seems too out of place for the saiyans to actually consider asking for aid from anyone, most especially a race they deem beneath them. If it really had to be a movie character, at least pick Turles, a fellow saiyan and space pirate with a similar goal to get stronger than Frieza. It would have made more sense to just race for a Namek instead of this detourning and the Lord Slug business.
The Saiyans did not see Namekians beneath them. Nappa commented on Namekians have "high power level" and magic, also "no wonder Raditiz died" when he saw Piccolo. As the matter of fact, average Saiyan warriors were not stronger than average Namekians. It was only Vegeta, the cocky princess, always think everyone is beneath him.

I don't necessarily think they thought highly of Namekians, more like thought lowly of Raditz as he was low, class fodder compared to Nappa and Vegeta. Nappa even says Namekians are slugs to them (I think in the manga) 1 Replie(s)

Now I wonder what would've happened if Frieza teamed-up with Slug to invade Namek and get the wishes from the dragon balls, since Slug is a namekian he should know how to speak to Porunga and get the wishes for both of them, they would probably betray each other in the end though.

They probably don't even know Slug is a Namekian, this is a sector they don't know nothing about, they're only hiding in it because it's a safe sector where Frieza can't find them because his armies can't win against Slug armies.

Indeed. Still, I can't imagine a saiyan saga Vegeta asking for help from anyone. Also, Vegeta is not a coward. In canon he went straight towards Namek even though he was alone and knew Frieza was there. This hiding away in some dump is out of character for him and the others saiyans. We'll see how it plays out.

Dr Raichi was saying:
I'm dissapointed with this universe. While the adult section is good, the story telling of the "kid Kakarot" version is lacking.
Kakarot kills Grandpa Gohan by stepping on him. I had expected Kakarotto to show some attachment to Grandpa Gohan at the end and accidently killing him while in great ape, then, hardened by that trauma, deciding to continue on his mission.
Instead Kakarotto apparently feels nothing for the man who has raised him for months, then wanders off to slaughter the populace.
He later encounters Krillin, forms a friendship with him in minutes, wins against master Roshi in a bullshit cave fight. I mean come on, who buys that master Roshi would lose to Kakarotto THAT early? He wasn't even an oozaru. Master roshi could blow up the moon in Dragon Ball, he could easily have killed Kakkarotto at that time.
Krillin then refers to Kakarotto consistently as "demon" why? He's a kid with a tail.
We don't see his interaction with chi chi, we don't see how he could possibly win against popo and especially Kami. We don't see the z warriors ganging up on Kakarotto...
There's so muuch wasted potential in this universe.

I agree. The early story of u13's Kakarot makes little sense. I guess in the grand scheme of things it makes little difference, but it's an annoying detail.let's just hope the Namek saga and unlocking of ssj by Vegeta doesn't have this "convenient" storytelling.
If you look at the Bardock TV special, the baby Goku that just landed was not even evil but good natured. It was only after a while that he slowly started to become and unruly child before he hit his head. If he hadn't, he would continue to develop to be become evil. Eventually he would have been the evil saiyan he was supposed to, but like represented here that he was from day 1 is just wrong.
