DB as a whole has been disappointing ever since transformations and power levels were introduced and could be a whole lot better if there was actually more skill and tactics involved.

How is Frieza a tactical fighter? There is nothing in DBZ and DBS that indicates this, unless you count his moments of desperation, but that isn't strategic fighting, that's desperation and he often acts on his own impulses. Other than that I agree, Goku (not DBS Goku, who can't figure a way out of a wet paper bag), Piccolo and Android 17 are more practical.

After all this, can we accept that calling Gohan the strategic mind of the group is just a lie?

I respect if that's your opinion but how did you determine it's the general consensus? Less than 1% of the people who read DBM leave a comment. It's hard to determine how they feel but usually because they don't care to comment or it's already been said so they have nothing to add. Since comments vary and don't share the same opinion, it's an even smaller percentage of overall fans who have taken the time to complain or consider most of the arc a waste.

I understand wanting the story to move faster but I think the length should matter more than the time it takes to release. The entire Majin rebellion is about 1/2 to 2/3 as long as the battle against the Ginyu Force so it's already short for a battle royale involving this many characters. There's a YouTuber animating the chapters of DBM and each chapter is about 10 minutes long. The entire Majin Rebellion would be about 4 normal length anime episodes.

It took three years to release but it's going to be a completed arc far longer and however long it remains online. Shortening the story even more so it would take less time to release would only make it feel more rushed and wasted potential for future readers who would only take a few minutes to read it all.

Vegetto is neither a domestic abuser nor a child abuser nor a bully towards Son Bra, thus he did nothing that could have traumatized Son Bra or ruin her childhood.

Vegetto is a much better father than Goku ever was.

Having Vegetto as a father is much less traumatic than having a neglectful deadbeat like Goku as a father.

Goku constantly threw kid Gohan into traumatic life or death situations, while Vegetto never did that to kid Son Bra.

Every single time Vegetto was seen spending time with Son Bra on panel, he treated her well.

Vegetto gives Son Bra constant positive attention and is overprotective to her, which is the opposite of what Gohan and Goten got from Goku during their childhoods.

Son Bra has a much better father than what U18 Gohan and U18 Goten ever got.

Son Bra has 3 parents who raised her.

Even if Vegetto was a bad father, it would have still been countered/balanced by Son Bra being raised by both Chi-Chi and Bulma anyway. Son Bra got from Chi-Chi the same education that Chi-Chi gave to Gohan and Goten, because it would be out of character for Chi-Chi to not do that to her children.

Yeah Im sure people will tear into me for it as theyve done before and be like "buh what about vegeta" or make rule-appropriate jabs but its always been her personality and lack of consequences that rubbed me the wrong way. I get that Vegito being a shitty father is by design (as I believe Salagir said, despite people attempting to justify the Zangya thing) but I felt it was a mistake not to show the other universes remarking on it or being made uncomfortable by it. If she was meant to be shitty as a plot point, the others shouldve reacted more appropriately to show that.

Im not saying characters should be like "How rude!" its more I feel like with some of the things she does, like the Cold senzu thing, you'd probably get a small, mild comment from Goku about it being a bit underhanded. Stuff that doesnt matter that much but would show that shes polarizing in universe, as she likely is meant to be for us.

The majinification was a really good step for that though. Id like for her to develop some after that but we've been hoping for a while so Im just focusing on getting back to the others after this. Least, I hope we will.
