ey bro I kinda like Son Bra, don't hate
also it was red, I saw him vent.

Azagorod was saying: KrypticX was saying: And before you say well she was taken by surprise and oh she couldn’t control and everything like that. There is no doubt Bra is stronger than Vegeta mentally probably not but for her to be able to still communicate and express herself during Majin let’s you know she still had somewhat control. I would’ve understand if there was a scene where Bra was mentally trapped watching her Body go on a rampage but that wasn’t shown for a reason unless Salgir forgot but for now..That WAS Bra. So you can’t baby her anymore.
Accept that is not how the Majin curse works? It's never worked like that, not one character in DBZ that was under its effects lost control of their bodies and could not speak. They all could all communicate perfectly well, this in no way means they still had control. Its not mind control in that it turns them into puppets it changes their personality/loyalty making them 'evil'.
1.I was using an example of a way it could’ve been shown she was completely innocent.
2. She is shown multiple times letting her power get to her corrupting her already and when she felt the power of SSJ2 she let herself succumb to it completely for that high as you said the evil already there is manipulated but she can still communicate and voice her opinions she already knew what she was doing when she killed Gohan but continued and she was listening the whole time and was aware because she listened to what other Bra said. So that’s also even a disregard to her family as she is shown as well not even caring that she killed Goten but happy she unlocked a new power even Vegito corrected her on this so in that instance if that’s Bras fault for destroying the planet it’s her fault for killing these people because she let it happen.

The problem here is that we've only ever seen one example: Vegeta.
Yes, yes, I know, Dabura and all of the minions were also under Babidi's control. However, the strongest of Babidi's victims was Majin Vegeta, and he was shown visibly struggling for a moment to break Babidi's influence, as if he was actively trying his hardest to not obey Babidi. I think that Babidi's magic doesn't make them lose their control over their body or lose their free will, but puts a little spark in the back of their mind (like a computer chip) that overrides the brain's basic thought and functions.
Furthermore, Vegeta WANTED the control, so this could be COMPLETELY different. Dabura showed complete obedience and no explanation was given, so who fuckin knows?
just my thoughts.

Once again, Zen Buu proves why he is probably the best character in this entire manga. Him and Cell, to be honest.
I must say it's fun to see Videl having Viet-Nappa flashbacks and having people make fun of Cooler some more (even though Cooler is freaking RAD and I wish he would be brought back to the actual series the way they did for Broly, whose DBS version has a much better character dynamic than DBZ Broly) and all that good jazz.
I'm glad that some people, along with myself, still appreciate the story of this manga (such as @Michelrpg) and understand that it's not always about Vegetto shredding people or Son Bra being a shitty character (a sentiment I disagree with) or whatever kind of battle-centric or "fan-pleasing" content there is. The best anime and manga have their ups and downs, and sometimes shit happens that we don't like. I get that. I have a few grievances, too, I just really don't care, and would much rather enjoy the story than be a little piss baby.
My biggest questions here are this:
— What's going on with Kakarot? He's immortal, so he must have experienced everything right? They showed him a few pages back but we didn't see anything after that.
— (As much as I usually don't care) What's XXI been up to? He's still in his little pocket dimension thingamabob, right?
— Will the tournament continue? It makes sense that it would but ya never know...
— Will Babidi's universe be disqualified? This one is my biggest question. Considering that Babidi kinda fucked everything over, it's quite possible.
_
Regardless, I'm excited to see where the manga goes from here. 1 Replie(s)

God, I love Zen Buu.
Also why y'all simpin' over that female Varga? Kinda sus ngl

Okay now for my legitimate comment, I will start by saying STOP WHINING!!!!!! This is the kind of ending that Toriyama himself would write, and as a matter of fact, HE DID. SEVERAL TIMES.
Anywho (warning: unpopular opinion), I think Salagir has done a great job on this story. I like everything you've done thus far (besides some of the stuff with Bra, but hey, I think we can all agree that Bra's screentime wasn't the best) and I can't wait for the ending. I'm sad that this manga is nearly over, but I'm excited to see how it all ends.
For people reading this comment, if you disagree, feel free to let me know. If you're going to be a little piss baby about it, please don't. I'd love to have a civilized conversation and share opinions and such, but I don't want to talk to people who say, and I quote:
"Don't insinuate i'm not 'reasonable', mr. 'static'. For I wanted her dead and out of the story. So speak for yourself next time, please. Thank you."
You know who you are.
However, I'd love to make jokes about the story and have reasonable, lighthearted conversations about it. I don't need bullshit, 'cuz guess what? Nobody asked.
Anyways, I look forward to talking to you guys!

1. Cell vs. Dabura; Where Cell removed his head to preserve enough of his body to completely screw over Dabura's spit thing. A very smart thing to do, and showed very well how Cell is probably the most expert tactician in the entire series.
This is my favorite fight of this story. Seeing both characters interact and figure each other out was one of my favorite things about this story. It's kind of a shame in my opinion that Buu and Cell (and kinda XXI?) are the only villains left in the tournament, since the villains are usually the most interesting characters to see fight. Vegito and Bra using Ki Constructs are probably the most interesting ability any of the Saiyans have shown the entire tournament, and that wasn't even too special. Bra making Ki Clones is by far the highlight of this Ki Construct ability, and is honestly one of the cooler ideas they could explore. Maybe Vegetto could also make one, but he can make a Ki Clone that can also fight?
Getting back on point, I kinda want Goku and Vegeta to lose so Uub and Cell can fight, since I believe that would be way more interesting of a bout than any of the other three options. I feel like the bits of magic that Uub has and the Mastery of so many techniques that Cell has that could be super interesting. How cool could a Four-Witches Technique Cell vs. a Maximum-Kaioken Uub match be? Just some food for thought.
Thanks for reading my dumb idea, and this concludes my Ted Talk.

I enjoyed your Ted Talk.
I don't really think about XXI very much, to be honest, not because I forgot he existed, I just don't like him that much.
We have no backstory on him, no explanation to anything, like come on. He's cryptic and I don't really have enough on him to enjoy him.
Onto Vegetto... the possibilities of his powers SCARE me. I mean that. We saw what Bra could do with power that was (while very high) much lower than Vegetto's. When he gets back to the arena, shit's getting real.
Zen Buu for the fucking WIN.

Finally, it's coming to a close. This story that I've invested myself in for years now.
Damn, I'm honestly a little sad. I've enjoyed this story so much, from Vegito's shitty parenting, to Bra's bitchiness, to Goku and Vegeta and the gang being... well, themselves.
But it wasn't just the characters that made this story interesting, it was how everything was done, how it was written, how the story played out. I realize, even though we all have different opinions, it seems like it all starts to boil down to one idea: Goddamn, it's been a wild ride.
So for the first time, I suppose I'll share my thoughts on this story, and hell, I'll even encourage debate.
First thing, I genuinely enjoyed watching the development of U16. I know that's an unpopular opinion, but it's my opinion. And while I agree that Vegito's a bit of a dick, and Bra (we won't get into that one) is Bra, I've enjoyed this universe's story. Not because of these characters, no, but because it is by far one of the most interesting fan timelines ever made. Perma-fused Vegito? Not so creative, but the heiress to Vegito? Interesting. This universe gives us one of the strongest beings in Dragon Ball history and gives them a child who one day could grow stronger. Not only that, but this child has a much different mindset than Vegito. Seeing the development of Vegito's parenting, him being a fighter and having little idea how to properly parent a child (not only due to his parts, Goku and Vegeta, but also due to the brand new personality that was sprung from their minds to form Vegito's mind), and watching how his children are affected by that. As bad as Son Bra is, be honest, she had a really shitty childhood.
Moving on, I think some people may agree that the first bit of the story was a little bland. Sure, what-ifs are interesting, but to be honest, the fun part is that they REMAIN what-ifs, and I didn't really enjoy seeing the whole tournament part of the story. Some bits were interesting, however, like Vegito vs. Zen Buu (who I'll get to later), where it was a fight that had somewhat already happened, but given such an interesting twist.
Now we get to some of the specific parts of the story I enjoyed, and while they only lasted a minute, they were interesting.
1. Cell vs. Dabura; Where Cell removed his head to preserve enough of his body to completely screw over Dabura's spit thing. A very smart thing to do, and showed very well how Cell is probably the most expert tactician in the entire series.
2. Boujack vs. Pan; This was a very interesting battle and it really gave Gohan an emotional struggle. Gohan had once fought Boujack and remembered just how much of a nightmare he was. While Gohan had defeated the pirate, his child now had to face the same peril he once did. It led to the loss of his only child. This created a serious mental obstacle, not only for Gohan, but for U18 Pan as well. I won't really explain that because the last chapter explained that well.
3. Cold-Ginyu vs. Son Bra; Yeah. I liked this fight. It gave an aweing look at the possible potential of Frieza's race that we never really got to see. Cold, being the most masterful of their kind, obviously was able to exploit such power that no one had ever imagined. This was an interesting battle because Bra was constrained by both weights, and her word to not transform, and it really showed off the battle strategy she learned from Vegito.
Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's talk about Zen Buu.
I hope I'm not the only one who thinks he is a masterpiece of a character, and it is by far my favorite concept in the story. It makes your head spin. What if Buu won? What if he absorbed everyone? It's something that someone had definitely wondered before. I think he's an interesting character and it kind of turns him into a sort of anti-hero, not really villainous, but not a "good guy."
Anyways, I'll end with that, this comment took ten minutes to type. Hope you guys agree with some of my opinions, and I'd love to discuss. 1 Replie(s)

True, but Gohan has Ki +3 and ATK & DEF +158%; guards all attacks; plus an additional ATK +58% for the rest of the battle when guard is activated; attacks effective against all types when facing only 1 enemy, whose HP is 58% or more, or when there is a "Majin Buu Saga" category enemy.
If you ask me, Gohan could put up a good fight. 1 Replie(s)

I can't believe all Salagir needed to do was blame the canon of Piccolo with Buu, and somehow things are okay with everyone, with what Bra did.
Listen,
1) There was no one physically that could stop Buu, and only the dragonballs could reverse the effects. If Piccolo went all heroic, everyone on the lookout dies, and that meant Gotenks was never going to be able to hold the line (though they predicted he'd save the world) and that the dragonballs would not be able to reverse what happened. It was a cold calculated call, but there was a reset button.
2) What happened on that planet, Bra wasn't Piccolo. Bra was Buu. She actively killed those people upon losing control of herself. And she gave no fucks about it because she's now stronger than Gohan. Yes, the Dragonballs can bring those people back, And yes, losing control can be forgiven, if the character who lost control actually has remorse. But Bra didn't. And even if Bra had remorse for her actions, she still wouldn't be the Piccolo in the situation, because what she did, wasn't for some burning matchstick thrown into the darkness, full of hope, believing that if Buu's sadism is sated, things can be fixed later. She lost her mind. Period. She was the sadist.

I don't think anyone said they were okay with it, per se, but I do believe that Salagir cleared up the confusion. But also, Bra's body couldn't handle the power inside of it, and her mind suffered for that. She had a Broly (DBS) sort of scenario there, where destruction just kinda happens, and it's her fault, but she doesn't mean for the destruction to happen. She doesn't know why, she doesn't remember. Think on that for a minute.
I am in no way clearing Bra for her actions, but for a bit, she wasn't really in control. I think that is shown here. She's only a kid, and she's way more powerful than anyone else her age has ever been.
NOW BEFORE PEOPLE GET ON MY CASE, yeah. She's a little bit fucked up here. She didn't apologize for nuking a solar system. But as a child with an asshole dad (be honest, he has some pretty bad parenting skills), whose father has raised her to learn to use her strength, and with her spending her ENTIRE LIFE training to surpass her siblings, yeah. I think anyone at that age would think "Hey, I finally did the thing!" before they thought "Oh shit, I killed my brother? I blew up several planets, and a SUN?! Holy crap I'm so sorry!" It is shown on this last panel that she does feel remorse, and a lot of times, when people are upset, they're gonna try to shift the blame. It's not to say she gave no fucks, but she definitely didn't prioritize the events that had happened, because again. She. Is. A Child.
And guess what? She didn't know she could do that. But do you think she'd apologize after hearing that she surpassed someone she's worked her whole life to surpass? No.
Because... let's be real...
She probably wasn't raised that way.

XisBack was saying: 1) There was a reason to do what Piccolo did (beat an evil enemy they couldn't beat at the time).
[...] did that for no reason at all, if not for fun: the enemies were not at her level
Piccolo the pragmatist choice to use billions of humans as shield, without asking their opinion, to suffer and fear.
Bra go into a blind rage and while shooting the last enemy, destroys the planet with it.
Piccolo got a reason, but his choice is very questionable. Die anyway, but there are several ways to die. Also Buu likes to play and he could actually have suggested him to play tons of games, he even saw him playing the gameboy.
Bra followed her very bad instinct.
Fun, not her level: all that can't be taken into account. She isn't master of herself and half a minute ago, they were above her level.
Never in her head there was these thoughts :

Ok, I admit, I feel for Bra a little bit here. I think I'd be traumatized by this, too. She's like 9 years old and her dad said he planned to kill her, and then stranded her in the middle of space. It's a dick move.

Ya Let's just ignore the Fact that Vegetto can grow stronger too and that he is a fusion of best training geniuses and limit breakers
Yeah, he can, but I don't think he felt a need to before Bra. He's the strongest being he knows of, and as long as he tries to keep Bra under control, it should stay that way. He's a genius tactician and as you said, an expert limit breaker, but I think unless they expand on Beerus and Whis's cameo, he won't be getting too much stronger.
I, for one, would rather just sit and enjoy the story because it's cool. I'm not trying to be a movie critic (I can be, but I don't feel like critiquing a fan-made Dragon Ball comic that is the best of them by far, as far as I'm concerned.)

Sodapopinski was saying:
Quick note on Vegito: he's less of a combination of Goku/Vegeta personality traits and more his own individual self.
We know fusions create hyper-arrogant creatures who are utterly convinced of their own awesomeness. What I think people are missing is that Bra is a constant and continual reminder of Vegito's failures and limitations.
Vegito giving up quickly in the hyperbolic time chamber and his frustrations here are examples of how frustrated he is not in her but his own inability to parent her through this. He can't fix this with force (which is all fusion gives and cares about), but that's not going to stop him from trying to.
Not defending him as a parent, persay, but I think it's interesting to point out why a fusion could make a bad parent, and I think it's awesome that Salagir explored this in such an interesting manner.

I agree here, and I think this is a really good thing and an excellent job on the writers' parts. Fusions are meant to have their own personas and personalities, so they did a great job at that in this manga for sure.
I'm loving this dark side of Vegito that shows up here for a moment. Bra's shock when he outright says he's gonna kill her before she surpasses him, all fucking Kronos style (Greek mythology nerds know what's up)... it hits different.

"Hey Vegeta! I'm oooooooout of the frame now. Can you see me Vegeta? Maybe this is a power even stronger than Super Saiyan Three! We'll have to call it Super Saiyan Fo-"
God, I love you.
