The soul machine is currently not working (the whole janemba part). Broly couldn't actually die since the machine can't process his soul. Buu and the others are gone gone, since they're already dead. So broly is aboutta come from hell to kill everyone again :'(.

That was kind of a disappointing ending ngl, I liked the art and the idea of a buu fusion, but the way the story went kinda left me a bit frustrated. Does this mean that Vegetto can survive a black hole as well, since he was more powerful than this broly at the start of their fight? Also, did buu die? Since I thought that only a piece of buu died when they went to the black hole or can this buu not do the same thing as zen buu?

Alright, so since we know that Broly ultimately wins, this could go one of a number of ways:
1. Broly and Buu end up in a beam struggle that ends up in the destruction of the galaxy, which only Broly survives.
2. Broly ends up getting stronger than Buu, due to his constant power ups, and overwhelms buu.
3. Same as 2, but in this case it's because gotenks diffuses inside buu, which ends up weakening his power.
4. Buu ends up absorbing broly, but broly ends up exploding from inside buu killing everyone.
5. Something with Uub, he is still out there you know.
6. Same as 1, but Buu survives too, and the Vargas only pick Broly for some reason.

This is a dumb plan. Vegito was far stronger than Super Buu after absorbing Goten, Trunks, Piccolo, and Gohan. And Super Buu is far stronger than Good Buu. Meaning, that this is going to end up weaker than a fusion between Goku and Vegeta/Gohan. Bad plan.
This is probably the best they can do, since they don't have potarra earrings and they don't have enough time to learn the fusion dance. Goku would probably not be able to teleport to another planet, since he requires concentration and a strong ki signal, which is hard since broly is right there and there isn't a huge ki somewhere else.

I find it kind of silly that gohan goes from completely shocked about broly to all happy that piccolo is here, like what is piccolo gonna do??

Nothing here should surprise anyone. If he can tank a combined physical attack from Gohan and Goku at their peak, what is Gotenks gonna do. These fools keep making the same mistake of fighting him one on one.
Pretty sure that's not Vegeta but Gotenks, you can still see the vest... But the angle is weird, so I don't blame you, it indeed looks a lot like Vegeta :)

If I was Goku, at this point I would IT to all the remaining Z-fighters, gather them and then go to namek or another planet to make a real strategy. I would teach gohan or vegeta the fusion dance and then go back to fight broly, along with gotenks. Gohan will agree for sure, vegeta might not because of his dumb saiyan pride. I would also have buu try to make broly candy, if he is still alive. Earth might be destroyed in the meanwhile, sure, but we can fix that later with the dragon balls. I seriously doubt that Broly can destroy the whole universe, in the time that we learn the dance, since the universe is pretty big. Once with broly, gokhan/gogeta can combine energy beams with gotenks and buu to push broly to the sun. Then, broly dies and the end. Unfortunately, we all know that is not going to happen.

Iirc I don't think Goku and Vegeta can fuse until an hour passes and broly won't let them have time to fuse again.
