HAHA what. I had to go back and check the original page. How the hell did I not notice this he stomped on both of their heads. Tbh it's a very bizarre move

Ooooh, interesting. So Vegetto actually saved the day!

Awesome page. I wonder if Vegetto is the whole reason everything is so chaotic and dispersed all over the place as opposed to just everybody freezing in place.

Count me in as someone that finds this to be a really unsatisfying counter to the technique. I hope it gets a further explanation, but it's probably just going to be yet another thing you have to just roll with.

So it was confirmed that all time dimensions work similarly in their ratios to the room of spirit and time.

Ok whoops I just misread this page, my bad. Now I'm wondering why the vargas specifically want to grant the winner's wish with their own universe's dragon balls instead of any other set they have that's in this storage universe. Has that been stated anywhere?

I wonder when we're going to find out why XXI can't just wish to be able to travel between universes with his own Dragon Balls. Especially if they can give him an OP power like stopping time.
I thought that maybe universe travelling could only be granted with universe 1 dragon balls. But it looks like the wish is going to be done with dragon balls from 3456. So uuuuh, yeah. 5 Replie(s)

And with that, all hope of a fake out is truly gone.
I'm still sticking around for the rest of the comic, but I can't deny that this is my least favourite development of the story so far.

A crazy and almost definitely false prediction for if the match was going to continue from here and it wasn't the end:
The namekian heals Goku. Goku or somebody else brings up that Goku wasn't dead, and no 30 second count down was initiated, so Goku wasn't truly defeated. Since it was a tournament organiser that falsely intervened, Goku isn't disqualified for securing outside help. The match carries on.
Goku essentially gets another chance. Goku either immediately teleports away to think of a plan, or it's revealed that the time stop ability has a long cool down before being used again. 3 Replie(s)

Damn. A real shame. I thought we'd get to see some of Goku's fighting genius, even if he lost.
The dragon couldn't give XXI any of Boo's magic that he used to kill Gast, saying it was way beyond his abilities. I would've thought I'k'l's time stop would be just as difficult to copy

Damn. Really thought Goku was going to figure out a way to victory.
It is reminding me of Goku's fatal wound he got from the special beam cannon. Maybe XXI can easily kill people who have already died before. 1 Replie(s)

Brunom was saying:
I don't understand why XXI couldn't just teleport him to a dimension with a ridiculous time dilation, like that of Freeza's "place", where it just wouldn't be feasible to return in time.
Does it always have to have a ratio identical to the one in the Hipertonic Lion Tamer?
Does it always have to have a ratio identical to the one in the Hipertonic Lion Tamer?
This has been answered by Salagir in comments, and yes, the ratio is always identical. In the world of DBM, dimensions where time flows differently only exist with ratios of the room of spirit and time, or a reverse room of spirit and time.
Freeza's place wasn't a real physical location or dimension. Goku wasn't teleported anywhere.
Not sure why Goku is giving an opponent like XXI a moment to breathe. Android 18 and Boo knew this isn't a good idea

I'm completely fine with this development as in idea. What sucks is that the Raditz/Goku fusion chapter is just completely stupid now. It's just pure nonsense that wasted weeks of time. Why was Old Kaioshin trying to see if his plan would work, but imagined a completely false scenario that wouldn't happen at all?
Like there's playing around, and then there's "that section of the story from before? Yeah it's just nonsense. And I'm also explaining this via a note on this page instead of via the comic itself". Completely amateurish quite frankly. Completely takes me out of the story.

Wow, so the reason Raditz is so weak is because the potential unlock didn't work?? Did XXI block it?

South Kai fought perfectly evenly vs Majin Boo. There is no way that Raditz could have been far stronger than him and also lost to a heavily weakened Vegeta. I don't know what old kai was talking about.

Haha whoa, I just assumed the demon kid that turned into Janemba had just been eaten by the smoke

Dude was almost eaten alive by a smoke monster who was going to ignore the fact that he forfeit, and doesn't have anything to say about it. Definitely comes across as an odd writing decision

Lucas was saying:
Ok but if being healed a little bit after almost being entirely consumed and still having 70% of his body burned or missing is enough for Gast to fully heal himself... why didn't he do that after the fight against Janemba?
He could've healed himself fully and had a better chance at fighting XXI. I don't get why he couldn't then but he can now.

I'm getting the vibe that with this little bit of energy, Gast healed his wounds, but not his ki reserves. He's still completely exhausted.
So, that guy who fought Yamcha and managed to stop time for everyone except robots and wanted to kill XXI. Would his power have even worked on XXI if XXI doesn't have a soul or is alive?
