Because the characters endurance and stamina is also that much higher that the fight lasts that much longer, otherwise it would end in nanoseconds if neither Goku nor Vegeta could take a punch from each other.

Revealing the result of the fight between Goku & Vegeta at the beginning seems to annoy many readers even quite a few pages after it was published. It's understandable, and has definitely been heard. I would suggest taking a break from DBM, and returning after some time if the spoiler bothers so much. Reading this fight 1 page per release isn't going to settle the annoyance.

And this confrontation between Vegeta and Goku, the acknowledgement of Gohan's (current) superiority because of the Mystic State, and the incentive to surpass just that by itself, I think are crucial to why U18 Vegeta & Goku developed/thought up Max Form (page 1810).

Doesn't change the fact, that DBM always had this release schedule with 3 pages a week (sometimes even 2 pages only). And you can still take a break to read 10 pages at once. Unless someone forces you to visit this page every day. But you would have to wait either way. The team does all of this in their free time, without getting paid. It's simply not possible to draw the main story any faster and providing such a beautiful quality like Asura does.

Now I should probably say this sooner rather than later: This comic is a sort of a retcon sequel to DBS. I change some smaller or bigger details from DBS history to suit my direction for this story. So for example here, Goku wearing his End of Z gear in this page, and the fact that Goku and Vegeta actually notice what happened back on Earth is a change from the DBS: Superhero movie. This is a small example, but there will be a few other changes as well directly stated or implied, so you can expect that in the future. The general plot history remains the same though, think of it like how the DBS anime and manga have some differing details but lead to the same outcomes.

No, not at all. I am totally a one-man operation, and although I do get some feedback for my work from a few people they are very minor. I just spent a year more or less independently studying Kakumei's art to learn more about drawing. Although I stopped referencing his work by now, I think my style will always be similar to his.

Tell you what, though... I've been thinking. There would've been a way to have this split-second unique thing, and keep the rest of us happy who just wanted to follow the fight page-by-page, not knowing the outcome: Have your interactive, animated page as you did, boom, it all happens... But maybe conceal the bodies in smoke or something, not reveal which one of them won the fight. The spectators, Gohan, Vargas, everyone could still comment the way they did, but at least we wouldn't know who came out as the victor. Simple fix. But no, we had to have a big page to just pretty much spoil it.. (with a very odd anatomy for Goku I might add).

So we already know who won!? And this is just a re-tell!!!? LAAAAAMME!
